Could hardly hear the waitress over the incredibly loud music. I could not even have a conversation with my girlfriend over the music as it was deafening. They tried to compensate the lack of flavor with extra pico de gallo, but it did not help. We ordered chips and guac and that was the best part of the meal. As far as ambience, it's pretty cool to have your drink made table side (that's right the server brings a cool/professional cart and makes your drink right by your table). The sushi is great and so is the camarones Zarandeados appetizer (I always order these). I am giving 3 stars because the service is still really inconsistent. This chain is all about the live banda music and the micheladas. Unfortunately the pandemic doesn't allow for the music yet the micheladas alone are a good incentive. I like their aguachile a lot. It's spicy and fresh and the size of the shrimp is incredible!!! I also like they they include the crispy cucumber slices to balance the texture of the aguachile. The shrimp empanadas are a staple menu item but they're too bready for my liking. Obviously this isn't a bad thing when double fisting micheladas so it's best you still carb up! The signature sushi of this Sinaloa style restaurant are rolls which include cream cheese. I'm not a huge fan of cream cheese but they have other sushi options to enjoy. The sushi isn't too buttery though which is why I don't give it 5 stars. My only issue was the slow service. Everything did not come out to the table at the same time and it took a long time to get the entire order for two. It could be because the size of restaurant is not well balanced with the amount of servers. I definitely recommend you try this chain out!!! read more

Wow! Haven't been here in years, this place has became a chain all they care about is money and opening new locations not quality they're giving. Their prices have sky rocket, $20 for a virgin (water down) Michelada with just mineral water No beer, bacon or shrimp they use on the regular ones. Just a rip off! Unfortunately, culichi town changed so much, and not for the better. The food was not good. I got a tempura roll that is supposed to be fried and it wasn't. I also got a fresada and it was too sweet with noticeable artificial flavoring. My friends and I also got guacamole as an appetizer and the lady that was making it in a cart right in front of us handed it to us and it had a hair on the bowl. We told her about it and she only switched the bowl instead of making a new batch for us. She handed us the new bowl passive aggressively. We also wanted to switch from a table to a booth and asked one of the waiters wearing black if we could switch and he said yes. Once we switched, a waitress came over to us and said we needed to have reserved the booth to sit there and that it was already reserved. We wouldn't have had an issue with that if the other waiter would have let us know that we couldn't sit there, but he told us we could. A few minutes later, the lady making the guacamoles was telling us to go sit on a booth but we told her we couldn't. They should probably inform all of their employees about how seating arrangements work to prevent further confusion when customers ask them a question. I came here today to celebrate my birthday with friends. We were excited to have good mariscos while listening to live banda. Instead, it felt like a reggaetón club with sit-down dining. When my party first walked in we loved the set up!! Such a nice ambiance. Really great music and a nice vibe! I was a but discouraged because I had made a reservation on OpenTable for 9:15 and I still had to wait around 15 additional minutes to be seated. The waiting didn't bother me but what did make me somewhat impatient was they simply wrote my name down on a paper after letting the front know I had a reservation through an app 3 times. (Which in said app I also let the restaurant know I was there for a birthday and it was never addressed nor did the servers sing happy birthday for our party) Our drinks were very good but the shots were on the sweeter side! I personally LOVED the shrimp empanadas a really good choice for an appetizer! The reason I am reviewing this as a three stars is because my entrée (prime steak w/ shrimp) came out after 15 minutes of ordering but the rest of my party (3 people) had been waiting 30 minutes and finally the server came out to tell us it would be another 30 minutes because the restaurant ran out of sushi rice. We had 4 additional plates of sushi rolls and we asked if it was possible to substitute the orders and the serve said due to the kitchen being closed we can't sub the sushi. So we took the rolls off the tab. We ordered dessert and the cheese cake was okay. The flan wasn't your traditional Mexican flan it was more-so a flan with sour cream or cream cheese base. The food was delicious and if you're looking for really good cuisine I would recommend. I don't think I will be coming back personally but it's always good to try different places!
