Didn't check on us once, I had an empty glass for a half hour, kept on waiting to see her but she was on the kitchen the whole time. do not come here. came here 4/2/2026 our server, lidia charged herself tip without telling us. their receipt state "no tip included" so my dad wrote down $13 i reviewed his bill and the lady added a 15 percent % they have no signs which state automatic tips included. went back and the lady did not apologize nor explain herself. we are still pending our refund never go here !!! read more

Came to El Pescador to celebrate a family member's birthday and had a great experience! To start off, we ordered some alcoholic drinks. The strawberry margarita was so refreshing and had a perfect balance of sweetness to alcohol. For my entree, I ordered the Mr. burrito, which is half pork (green sauce) and beef (red sauce). The burrito was huge and soooo good! It was also less than $15, which is a great deal. The service was wonderful, and they even brought my family member a piece of birthday cake and sang happy birthday. We also liked that there was live music! I gave 4 stars because there weren't any prices on the menu. I usually try to give places the benefit of the doubt, but my recent visit here was extremely disappointing. From the very beginning, the lack of attention was evident -- the staff came across as inattentive and dismissive. To make matters worse, several dishes were served undercooked and poorly prepared, which raised both quality and safety concerns. Overall, this experience showed not only poor service but also a lack of honesty and integrity. For a restaurant to succeed, consistency, transparency, and respect for customers are essential -- unfortunately, none of those were present here. On top of that i questioned the bill because it didn't make sense that a virgin margarita was more expensive than a regular margarita . This pescador has good food but I did not like having non stop loud music during dinner. Non stop loud music is is annoying, specially if you want to have a conversation with someone. This is supposed to be a restaurant and not a night club. Loud music is good perhaps on Saturday evening, on special occasions. Food took over 40 mins to come out for a party of 9. Food was cold and came in different sections. Asked for two sides of rice and brought me the wrong sides twice. There was also an eye lash on the side of sour cream. At the end to top it off from giving her cash and 3 debt cards she charged one twice! If it's Friday night have enough personnel to provide great customer service! Mistakes like that make you upset! Too many for a bill of $300. Been to El Pescador on Atlantic in South Gate and Eastern and this hasn't been a problem before. Food tastes better at these locations and portions are serve about the same.
