I was craving something floral, not overly sweet, and well balanced, so I tried the Honey Lavender Oat Iced Latte and it was exactly what I was looking for. They also have really cute seating, which makes it a nice spot to sit, relax, or catch up with a friend or do some work! I'll definitely be coming back and bringing friends with me. Date of Visit: 10/18/26 Time of Visit: 9:45am…read more My wife is persistently on a pursuit of good matcha/coffee places all around SoCal. On this uneventful Sunday, we decided to drive out to one of these highly recommended places to try out. Street parking was plentiful, but it could be more of an issue if it weren't a quiet Sunday morning. Upon entry, the decor was very minimalist and essentially par for the course for the majority of modern coffee/matcha places. The staff were friendly and greeted us right away. I ordered a simple drip coffee since I simply needed regular coffee. The flavor was good and not too overpoweringly bitter. My wife ordered the Soulmate Matcha. She told me that she enjoyed it overall, but would've liked it even more if the matcha flavor was even stronger. Overall, this was a solid place for coffee and matcha if you're in the area (Bellflower and surrounding cities).

I asked for a cortado with pumpkin syrup, which they already have on hand, and was told they couldn't make it. Seriously? You're a coffee shop with espresso, milk, and pumpkin syrup, but somehow putting them together is impossible? Certain drinks are also restricted to oat milk with no substitutions. I understand having a curated menu, but there's a difference between maintaining standards and making a simple coffee order unnecessarily difficult. Unaccommodating, disappointing, and a complete lack of hospitality. Definitely won't be returning.

I was even able to purchase the loose-leaf tea to recreate it myself! They had actually discontinued that particular tea, but he still helped me out, which I truly appreciated. I tried the Banana Nut Latte and it is SO good. It's an herbal tea-based drink, super flavorful and cozy. I also love that you can customize your sweetness level or keep it completely sugar-free. Highly recommend for anyone who loves quality loose-leaf teas and genuinely amazing customer service. I'll definitely be back! I finally got a chance to check out One12 Caffe and really enjoyed my visit!…read more The cafe has a modern, clean, and classy vibe with both indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor space is on the smaller side, but it still feels comfortable and welcoming. They also have a pastry case when you walk in, and the coffee bar is set up in the back. One of the coolest things about the cafe is the robotic arm that makes the coffee. I honestly wasn't expecting that and thought it was pretty fun to watch. For drinks, we tried the Hot Biscoff Cookie Latte and the Double Matcha. The Biscoff Cookie Latte was my favorite. It had a nice Biscoff flavor without being overly sweet, which I really appreciated. The Double Matcha was also really good, smooth and creamy with a nice matcha flavor. They can also add latte art to the drinks, which is a nice touch. For food, I went with the Short Rib Benedict because I'm a sucker for a good Benedict. The short rib was tender and flavorful, and everything on the plate worked really well together. Definitely something I would order again. We also tried the Ratatouille Omelette, which was a great vegetarian option. It was packed with vegetables and had plenty of flavor. I liked that it didn't feel like a boring or basic vegetarian breakfast option. And of course, we had to try dessert. The Dubai Crepe was really good. I liked the chocolate and pistachio combination, and it wasn't overly sweet. We also got the Biscoff Cheesecake, which was another favorite. It was creamy, rich, and had a good Biscoff flavor. Overall, I really enjoyed One12 Caffe. There is a good variety of coffee, brunch items, and desserts, so there's something for pretty much everyone. The food was solid, the drinks were good, and the robotic coffee arm was definitely a fun bonus. My personal favorites were the Biscoff Cookie Latte, Short Rib Benedict, and Biscoff Cheesecake. I'd definitely come back to try some of the other items on the menu!

I ended up going with a classic tres leches cake which tasted wonderful. Miriam was the one to help me out. Bonus points for having the same name ;) Miriam made great detailed questions to make sure the cake was exactly what I wanted it to be referencing off a picture I had showed her as inspiration.
