Don't rent here. They have horrible camera coverage no security, and my $30,000 RV was completely destroyed. And they are offering no help other than to tell me to file a police report and an insurance claim and they will speak to those people when they call. I went to check on it today. All of my gear is missing all of the bedding and all of the supplies I had inside are stolen and it is incredibly clear that someone is living out of my RV in the storage lot. I might as well keep updating as I go. The onsite manager was polite and professional. No complaints about him he did his job. I tried to call customer service, the rep said the only thing she could do is put in a callback request and the regional manager Rodney Honrada would call me back Monday or Tuesday (is Saturday). Last time I tried to call a regional manager I was completely ghosted. She gave me the "contact" number he had listed but it goes to a generic voicemail. I stored my 19ft camper at this location for several years. Unfortunately, the camper was stolen from this gated facility. I realize that thieves will go to great lengths to steal which is apparently easy to do at this location. What is really unacceptable is the promises of follow by local and district staff with no follow through. read more

not sure why "Kevin" who purports to be the owner bothered responding: ive never spoken or interacted with this individual outside of his canned response on here. I did speak with Jim hofer and several others at cubesmart after they allowed my vehicle to be vandalized and the catalytic converters stolen while in their care; Jim effectively told me to kick rocks. According to him cubesmart is not responsible for vehicles or anything else in their custody, and any damage or theft is solely on the customer - not cubesmart. Ive been waiting a month for camera footage which is obviously not coming. I wonder if their security cameras are operational, as they seem to be strictly ornamental. read more

Do not rent a truck from them. They have no inventory and trucks are delivered on a as needed basis. I called and reserved a truck and told them I would be there in a half hour. When I arrived the manager had no record of my transaction and no trucks on-site to rent. Additionally, I was informed that they didn't start renting trucks until 10:30 a.m. there is zero communication between the management and Penske trucks. It rapidly became a situation where they made their problem my problem. I will never patronize this establishment. read more

left my car there while i left to Colorado. They don't protect your car. My car was broken into, I got all my speakers and amplifier stolen and my positive and negative cords to my battery were snipped also. The employees seemed careless and nonchalant about the whole situation. My moving for work and needed Storage call and got the closest one to me Cubesmart storage Florin location .... And I'm so happy for that Alexandria and Tara were so professional and caring ladies... They answered all my questions to insure me that my items would be safe and really gave me the feeling of leaving my stuff with good friends.. If zero stars were a option that's what my rating would be. If you want to give your money to a female manager with a poor disposition and a bad attitude. Do yourself a favor don't rent storage here. The Patricia Adams a manager with a terrible disposition. I rented a storage unit with a cube smart for 9 years 1 mile away. I just rented another unit from the 55th st cube smart. Patricia is the reson I wouldn't rent an additional unit form yhis location. Pease Don't waste your time and money. read more

Good security and I like the fact that they accept credit card payments over the phone even for initial payment which is nice and not offered by several other local storage companies. The fact that they allowed my mom to pay over the phone and all I had to do was come in and get my gate code and sign for the unit was convienent and I appreciated the fact that they allow you to either purchase a lock from them for $16 or bring your own as long as it meets there critera for security purposes. read more

This place should not be allowed to rent Penske trucks. Don't waist your time, horrible customer service, no organization. Basically everyone involved in this business is incompetent. If you reserve a truck, they will call you 24hrs in advance and confirm the reservation with a 100% guarantee that the truck will be ready, but when you show up the next day, the truck will NOT be there. Then they will do absolutely nothing to help you unless you want to drive 50 miles to another location and WAIT for another truck to be returned. I should be compensated for my losses, but that 100% guarantee is more like 0%.... Thanks for the worst move of my life! read more

We love this Cube smart, they are really nice and will help you out with anything they can. LaRon and Patty are the most wonderful people. When we moved here from Southern California we had no idea how anything worked up her. They took their time answering questions and making sure we were safe. A few weeks ago my lock on the storage door broke, I called the company and they called Patty who came straight to our unit to help us even though it was after hours. She was happy to help and we were happy to see her. LaRon has helped us so many times getting things done and taking us to our unit from the office to pick something up. My husband and I have been talking about buying an RV for aggggges and finally took the plunge earlier this summer. Of course, while we took our sweet time debating all sorts of logistics (flat screen: yes; wine chiller: no) we never thought about where we were actually going to put the thing! I kid you not. Thank God a friend of mine rents a storage unit from U-Store-It and happened to mention that they offer vehicle parking too! I was able to secure a spot for our new toy really easily at a great price- and even got a month or rent totally free. Needless to say, I was a very happy camper (ha- sorry.) I stored my 3 bedroom house at cube smart. The guys working there were very friendly. I got 50% off my first month, which was great. I only needed the storage for 3 weeks, when I came into end my contract the manager said he couldn't do it because I forgot the key to my lock ( the lock was still on the storage) I told him I drove from Madison and he was nice enough to offer to cut the lock so I didn't have to drive back. read more

Sucks that they offer half off the first month, but then say that since it is the last unit, they won't give the discount. If it is in the ad, they should honor it. Seems shady, and makes me wonder about their overall practices. read more

This company has seen fit to gouge their customers by raising their prices while providing no additional services and no better upkeep to the property. I often find people camped in front of storage units who have snuck in with no apparent reason for being there. In addition, this company is clever in their plan to raise prices. Most customers do not have the ability to move their things in storage constantly when the facility management "feels" like raising the prices. In the last year the price went from 75.95 to 102.95. No change in the size of my storage unit, quality or any other feature of the facility. They have one small dumpster that you cannot access unless the office is open and it is usually too filled to use. So most of us simply accept this unfair treatment and I understand why. It takes a great amount of effort to move your things. The problem is that this facility knows it as well. I will be moving out soon hoping to find an honest organization to relocate my items. Stay away. I promise to send a review of other storage units I find who I hope do not use these deceptive practices. read more
