I moved to Folsom but keep my unit with super mini storage because Penny and her staff are amazing. Penny took the time explaining what size unit I'd need and showed me how to utilize the space efficiently with my items. A couple years later I needed a smaller unit and once again Penny assisted with great customer service always helpful knowledgeable looking out for her customers best interest. I recently transferred to a larger unit moved cross country temporarily and have since returned to find everything is as it was when I left California. I'm almost twenty miles from my unit today could move out to another facility closer to home however I won't because I know my things are safe and secure because of Penny and her staff. Kind considerate caring and most important trustworthy. I'm grateful and so appreciative for these people. If you're in need of a storage facility I recommend them 100%. You won't be disappointed I want to thank you Penny for going above and beyond in assisting me with my storage needs and your kindness during the difficult times in my Oklahoma travels. You and your staff are very much appreciated.

Prior to her being the manager it was ran by her uncle Pete & rest his soul in peace. I wish that Pete was bystill here or I wouldn't have gotten 1 of my units sold illegally. On 7/10 she told me that my request to allow me to come up with over Year payment totalling $2000.00 on 7/18/24 or my unit will be auctioned & sold. When I called on 7/18/24 at 9:06am I got the outgoing vm from 4th of July that they are closed this date. I didn't leave a message instead I called again &Val answered. I asked if Penny was available? Val told me she was not in the office & would be back in an hour. I let Val know that My banking institution was not running & I would have to make a cash payment in person. I asked Val to let Penny know & to give me a call. An hour went by & I never got a call from Penny. Penny still wasn't back for the entire day. Next day 7/19 Called 9:05am no answer. I called again left vm for Penny to please call me regarding my payment. Penny returned my call at 9:13am to tell me my unit was sold. I asked her Why did she sale my unit? She said because I didn't pay in time & the guy who bought my unit was there yesterday at 10am sharp to pick up his unit. I asked if she received my message from Val? She said by the time she got my message it was too late. I'm upset & feeling violated & betrayed because she has removed my units from the auction list many times before so I could pay. I'm very disappointed & hurt that she also in the past removed items from another one of my units without my knowledge or approval & told me that my things collapsed so she moved my items into a empty unit that I am not paying on or have a key to access my items. Do not store any items here at Super Mini-Storage in Stockton Blvd. This manager is a thief & not trust worthy!

    I would give these guys a minus 5 Stars if I could. Don't waste your time or your money…read more On April 29 I reserved a space for my trailer for a month. I reserved a 35' gravel space for $175.00 per month. When I arrived to drop it off I was directed all the way around and to a small gravel lot near a bunch of trees. I was assigned space G78. The space was covered with tree limbs that had to be moved before I attempted to back my trailer into the space. Myself and the gentleman from S&J moved the limbs and he headed back to the office. There was a trailer on one side and a massive RV on the other. I attempted a few times but decided rather than risk damaging my property or someone else's I would tell the gentleman who assigned me the space I wasn't going to be able to fit my trailer. He agreed the huge RV was parked at an angle and wasn't offering me enough room. He was looking for another space to assign me. He was on the phone for about 30 minutes and it was close to an hour before he assigned me G66. I was able to park my trailer and left it for a month. The gentleman I was dealing with told me he would credit me back the $25.00 Setup Fee I was charged when I reserved online. I received a confirmation their system telling me I had a -&25.00 balance on my account as a result of the credit. I picked up my trailer on May 29. There was still the $25.00 credit there until I sent an email and asked about it. The person who responded to my email changed the details in the account and removed the $25.00 credit. He told me: "We accommodated you - it is not our policy to give credit just because the guy next to the spot we assigned blocked your spot We immediately gave you another spot - who did you talk to - as no one other than the owner can give credit authorization - and this is not a situation where we credit you" Just don't bother! You can find a suitable storage facility that won't tell you one thing and then take it back. It's not about the $25.00. It's about a company who simply doesn't give a crap about the people who chose to patronize them. I was given a credit. After a month you took it away and removed it from my account.

    I found this storage facility last month and I was instantly impressed with it. It is really clean…read morefrom the moment you pull into the parking area. It's on E. Stockton Blvd down the streets from Costco. It looks to be much smaller than what it actually is. When I came in to ask about their availability. I was taken on a small tour to see two of the units I was inquiring about and was giving the last one of its size. On our way back to do the contract, as I spoke with the young man, he explained that they were full up to 98% and so many people were coming in looking for storage units. I must admit, this place was really clean and the staff was very professional. I meet the manger when we returned and her name is Theresa, she then informed me that she lives on site. Right above the office and that they've never had any issues there and reassured me that if I have any concerns she was easy to reach. One thing I didn't like is that they want to charge for everything. I've never known a storage unit to require you to have insurance before, especially if no one is breaking into them and then a 'one time' administration fee. Lol come on people, really! So once we get the things I was storing all in, we then had problems getting the latch to connect, to put the pad lock on and its after hours. So we put the lock to look as if it was locked until Monday. Once I came back and explained what happened. I was taken right over so that I can be shown how to maneuver the latch to get it to connect. I was a lil taken back when the manger stated she was aware of this problem with the unit, but she didn't want to spend the money to get it fix. Well hopefully I won't have anymore problems with it and she won't have to bother getting it fix. So I'm hopeful and believe this will all work out. I love the atmosphere over here, except for today, while coming to pay my bill, there's a fire that is down the streets that I'm sure will be on the news this evening. They had the street blocked off so you couldn't enter. Thank goodness the storage facility is right on the corner...

    We've rented from these guys before but never long term. When you drive on the 99, you'll see…read moretheir building and seems like they always have a huge advertisement sign stating about how you can get your first month's rent free. So it seems like there are some weird quirks about that advertisement. Like usually what most people do is they go online and this place usually has some sort of one-time "sale" going on. And it's one of those things where you can't get the sale price and the free month's at the sametime. Usually the online price works out to be better. Like for the month free, the monthly rate is pretty high. The online price usually gives you a better rate for a few months. But watch when those months expire, because your rate goes up. So here's a "trick" to keep your rates at a somewhat good price: take the online specials, then when you reach your expiration, you can apply all over again. BUT the only caveat is that you'll have to move to a NEW unit. Yup, like take all your belongings from the unit you're currently in and move it to where ever they assign you to. I haven't done the math if it's worth it, but I guess it just matters how much stuff you have to move.
