What I don't like about Cube Smart is that they raised your rent without notifying you you just all of a sudden see it raised on your bill no notification at all and I don't like that at the top there's holes so it's infested with rats and dust when you let storage door up. You have nothing but rat feces all over everything and it has the openings at the top where they can get in and out so your things get damaged from rat rat poop read more

A storage unit I paid on for two years was recently auctioned off without notice. No email, no phone call in advance when they normally do both. They told us over the phone, we had til the 13th and had planned to pay them on the 11th when my husband got paid but I also got paid on the 3rd and though we had other bills to cover, I had a bad feeling so we started blowing up their phones to try and double check it was good til the 11th (which is before the 13th like they'd said!) but it took us a week of calling every couple of hours every day during business hours to finally get an answer. The 10th, they finally answered and told us it had been auctioned off on the 4th, almost a week earlier and everything in it was gone. This storage unit contained my uncles ashes, my grandmothers burial plot deed next to my grandmother in Cypress Grove Cemetery in New Orleans where my grandfather is buried, (I had planned to bury her and my uncle there soon), a ton of irreplaceable family documents, my uncle's and grandfather's freemasonry documents and memorabilia, a bible that was my great grandmothers from the 1800's, Afghans she made my uncle, mother and grandmother, The teddy bear my grandmother gave me at birth, the teddy bears my children were given at birth, a Barney doll my uncle gave me at age 4 that I slept with for most of my childhood, my oldest son's baby book and umbilical cord, all that's remaining of my childhood pictures and all that's left of Logan's grandpa Joe and his Grandma Donna's hope chest, a 400 year old German clock that was broken but reparable and also kitchen supplies and most of the kids toys. The people who bought the storage unit left nothing behind and management refused to contact the buyers or help in any way. read more

Easy check in and the receptionist was beyond helpful. Just remember to bring your own pad lock or you'll have to buy a lock there on site. Not to much money, about 13.00 or so. Also you will have a one time fee of 12.00 for insurance. Make sure you take care of your unit as the units are older with tiny openings in them. Me and my husband went to Walmart and purchased tubs for our items. Not a big deal. read more

My husband purchases storage auctions between Nevada and California. I made payment and pick up for this location they are very accommodating and helpful. I let the young lady know when I would be picking up and it was no problem. The facility is very clean and she is was very helpful. it was a great transaction. read more

The most rude and unprofessional storage facility I have ever encountered. My girlfriend and I had things in this storage unit while we were homeless. We ended up living in a hotel over 2 hours away and always paid online or over the phone. We always paid, for over two years, sometimes late but we were very careful to follow all the deadlines they gave us so it wouldn't go to auction. They auctioned off our stuff without any notice after we had been trying to call and pay because they removed our ability to pay online so we had to call in. Corporate wouldn't help over the phone, they kept saying call the store which completely refused to answer. They took absolutely no accountability for this flagrant neglect. read more

The staff at both of the locations were very helpful. When one site different have the size I needed they sent me to another location. I was able to get the storage unit I needed there. I would suggest looking at the different sizes before you choose which one best fits your needs. They gave a me a great discount and that made the experience even better. The space is very secure because you have to have a password to get in. The managers nor the customer service team will let you on site even if they know you. They will ask you to present an ID if you forgot your password and you will still have to key it in yourself before you can access the units. It is very safe and secure from my perspective. I love this company and would recommend it to anyone I know. read more

Walked in to get a unit on Saturday January 21, 2017 and was greeted by the manager. Very nice and professional service provided. I was taken care of right away and provided a unit ASAP. Everything was explained to me and the contract was written up fast and accurately. Once all was done, I was taken to my unit and showed inside. Went in to by a mattress bag since I was in the process of moving. The two ladies in the front (Liz and Lou) were very helpful. They even let me know about their prices on boxes and packing tape unfortunately I had already bought some. They were very friendly and let me know if I needed any additional moving materials I can always come back. Will definitely go back if I move again!! read more

These people are thieves!!!!! THIEVES I tell you!!!! I called to check my balance at 11:03am this morning and it's 2pm when I came to make the payment on my storage.... they now tell me that 15 minutes after I made the phone call to check my balances they decided to charge over $100 bucks in late fees. ARE YOU FREAKEN KIDDING ME!!! Robbery!!! When they feel like it they will charge a late fee like are you serious! Don't waste your time here save your money and stuff DONT RENT STORAGE HERE!!! Maria from the San Bernardino store was filling in when I rented my unit and she is amazing! She was super friendly and helpful! She swept the unit before I arrived and made sure it was exactly what I needed. The paperwork was quick and easy and Maria explained all fees and policies clearly. The only negative is that there is a screw sticking through the wall of our unit that got caught on my cousin's sweater while he was moving some stuff in there for me. But I would recommend this place to anyone because Maria made my experience more than pleasant. I wish more people had customer service skills like her. Thank you Maria! read more
