I wish someone had communicated that because I was incredibly frustrated and couldn't get a hold of the office, although I tried calling multiple times and left voicemails. Laura was exceptional, with a charisma and kindness that were truly remarkable. She was a joy to work with and to talk to, consistently brightening our day with her positive attitude. I have never had issues with Public Storage in the past and this location was no different. Was happy with accommodations made for me, previously. Today, I was moving around things between home and storage and came across an old metal shelving unit in my storage garage. My truck bed was already full with items so I was not able to drive up to the garbage area with it loaded. In a hurry to avoid the rain, I quickly carried the shelf around the first row of garages and left it near the garbage to circle back with Monique to discuss if leaving it there was an option this one time. After quickly returning to my truck to grab the rest of my things, Monique came around the corner and in a very rude and charged manor, approached me with the very first question of whether or not I was moving out. Then on to the shelf being left near the garbage, then quickly scolding me for leaving it there. I was interrupted several times by Monique and not given the opportunity to even speak or explain my intention to ask her about the shelf after I was finished loading my backseats. Monique was incredibly rude, inconsiderate of the situation, and was too focused on the posted signage than to listen to a long term customer across Public Storage locations on what the situation was and what my intentions were knowing the rules already. I will be moving all of my belongings from this location and going elsewhere. Highly recommend staying away from this location in particular. 1 star is generous after today's interaction. My 1st visit was really good as Maria showed me around and explained how the units worked. Upon hearing that I would need my storage unit for a couple more weeks Maria extended my reservation to keep my rate and that really helped. On move in day I was given a phone call the day before, to check to make sure what time I was going to arrive. I was able to reschedule my time when I realised that the time slot didn't work any longer. The office staff were very flexible with helping me out. I was able to complete the whole moving process in less than 30 minutes. Overall I am happy with my unit I end up getting a 10 by 7 and a 1/2. I do like the ease of unloading my S UV into their docking station. I appreciate the climate control as it can get really hot during the summer and I was worried about my electronics. This was the true reason I picked this location even though about $50 more per month than the location about 2 miles away. All in all super excited about the fringe benefits of this location, To include utilization of a moving truck. The nice thing is that they allow you to use the moving truck up to 2 weeks from your moving date. This alone is going to save me a $150.

Since I first got my unit my rent has increased 300%!!!!! My last increase was a whopping $60 a month!!! SO, they just gouge their longstanding customers because they know they can! A brand NEW customer off the street will pay $60 less than me for the SAME UNIT. I have tried to contact them to try to get them to work with me but it's basically impossible to talk to anyone!!! I advise trying any other storage place other than Public Storage. There is a very good place just down the street on Army Trail Rd. I moved and don't have a car or I would have already moved my stuff out. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER CARE - NON-existent.
