    The folks that work there are very helpful. Evelyn goes beyond to help...she suggested a spot that was $50 less which I jumped on.

    BEWARE ! This location has changed it's access hours From 9:30 am to 6pm . This is not acceptable and many are moving out !

    I rented a U-Haul trailer in Washington, DC on 3/7 for a one-way rental to Morton Grove, IL. The…read moreservice in DC was exceptional - professional, efficient, and friendly from start to finish. Unfortunately, the experience at the Morton Grove location was the exact opposite and completely unacceptable. I returned the trailer early on 3/8 - three full days ahead of my contract end date. I informed the employee on site that the trailer was on the lot and asked if I needed any documentation. I was explicitly told no, and that he would check it in later. I relied on that guidance and left. Because the Morton Grove staff failed to check in the trailer when it was actually returned, I was later contacted on 3/11 and told the trailer had not been returned. Not only was this incorrect, but their internal failure resulted in me being wrongly charged a late fee. To be clear: the trailer was not returned late - it was returned early. This charge was entirely due to staff negligence. What followed was an unnecessarily prolonged and frustrating effort to correct a mistake that should have been resolved immediately. I went back to the location and worked with Antonio, who acknowledged the error and attempted to help. However, despite multiple assurances over several days that the General Manager, Steven Phillips, would process the refund, no action was taken. When I finally reached Steven Phillips on 3/21, the situation escalated further. His behavior was shockingly unprofessional - he was defensive, dismissive, and raised his voice during the conversation. Rather than taking accountability for a clear error made by his team, he repeatedly framed the refund as a "courtesy," which is completely inappropriate. This was not a goodwill gesture - it was a correction of an obvious mistake caused by his staff. The lack of accountability, poor communication, and unprofessional conduct at the Morton Grove location turned what should have been a simple return into a multi-day issue requiring repeated follow-ups. This reflects extremely poorly on the management and overall operation of that location. U-Haul should take this seriously. The Morton Grove location demonstrated a breakdown in basic operational procedures and an alarming lack of professionalism from its General Manager. This experience was frustrating, time-consuming, and entirely avoidable.

Including our parents ashes, one of a kind art pieces made by myself and my late husband, irreplaceable family heirlooms and so much more. Oue entire lives. We were victims of a Con artist and took a financial hit that was extremely difficult to recover from. We fell behind on the rent. I presented our hardship to the staff here. I cried and begged them to please give us time to not loose everything we had. But, instead they raised the rent. We did everything we could to raise the money. Paid them thousands and got within a few hundred dollars from paid off. So, they raised the rent again and added more fees. We begged. My Mother even paid what she could and begged them as well to have a heart. But, we lost everything. The money we thought would be our cushion to be able to rebuild our lives went to paying fees to these heartless people. We were $200 short and we lost everything. Still on the streets now hoping to rebuild our lives. Stay Away!!

You check in and scan your ID into a link they email to you as your checking in. I use AT&T and I had next to no service. When I asked if they had their own wifi the employee said I would be better off using my phone data since their wifi wasn't good. I walked outside and tried to get better reception for my Data, but still had little luck. I had to use my boyfriend's phone as a Hotspot. Somehow his Google Fi was getting better service which is rare. We were instructed to inspect the truck on our own. No one walked us through it. Also, next to no spaces to park your car when you pick up the Uhaul rental. Surprise same all phone pictures and using your data when dropping off too. I moved almost two years ago and didn't have to do it this way. Both times were an after hours drop off. After a long day of moving taking multiple pictures, writing in the milage and all into my phone was unpleasant. All at night and in the dark. Not sure if this was a change with Uhaul in general or just this location. Not a fan!

    Wow. I have been using the U Haul location for along time…read moreand today was an absolute Joke!! From the moment I pulled in the lot William started yelling at me and my son for where we parked! Now the place was empty and the only thing in the way was the trailer I was picking up, so I moved my van. But when we went in the store Williams Kept his nasty attitude going, when I gave him my information he snapped and said YOU ARE LATE!! And he said he should of given my trailer away ( even though there were 2 more there) So at this time I snapped and said do what the F you want!!! He was so unpleasant even finishing the contract Then even worse hooking me up, So I just returned the trailer and he keep up his nasty attitude I always return the equipment cleaner then I when I picked it up to avoid and fees She told me NEXT TIME I NEED TO HOSE OUT THE TRAILER or I will be charged next time even though it's 30 degrees out When I told him it's cleaner then I picked it up he snapped again and told me that I was bitching about everything today and I need to be careful And I asked him what that meant? He snapped and said that i need to watch out for myself I think that was a threat WOW. **
