They didn't stop for breaks or meals at any point other than when we bought them dinner and made them! They quoted us a price and a timeframe that were met exactly - there were no surprises. They were beasts in the best possible way. At one point Stefan called me over to the stairs and he was laying flat underneath a couch of holding it up with his team just waiting patiently to ask me a question. Along that, both leading up and during the actual move Stefan was incredibly communicative. During the move, he would ask me questions of where items went, if this or that was ok, if we are happy, etc. They were just amazing. Thank you! As well as losing and not replacing the holders for shelves on the hutch tops but just sliding them in. Movers, obviously, stated the scratches and large watermark were there before. They also denied using my microwave and leaving splatter from beans all over inside. Additionally, two large antique mirrors were not boxed. Did they really think their employees would admit to doing the damage? I have folks who had seen this item previously and can testify that the photos are exact. And the lack of holders for the shelves. And folks who can testify to the mess left by their beans in my microwave.

I've moved my kids multiple times with shady movers (I have stories!) and this was a walk in the park. First of all , my quote was done over the phone through FaceTime. Steve knew exactly what he was doing and asked all the pertinent questions. His quote was fair and extremely accurate. Before the scheduled move we were able to move quite a few small boxes and items ourselves as we had access to the new home. Steve was happy to adjust the quote (through FaceTime again) and it was astonishingly accurate. The crew was fantastic! Adan was the crew leader and all the men were very proficient in packing, moving and communicating with us throughout the day. They were all friendly and very accommodating to how we wanted things placed in the new home. Also, Brenda in the office was quite helpful with scheduling the move, explaining the billing, and answering any questions we had. Cannot say enough good things about this company. As I said, we've been burned by other companies so I was relieved to have such a pleasant experience with Prager.

(our stuff went to storage for 8 months while we were in furnished housing). I would recommend this company. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that there was one temp worker helping to pack who seemed kind of "slow" and talked on his phone occasionally throughout the day of packing. This review isn't so much about the men who picked up and delivered our items (they were great) but…read moreabout the management and owner of the company. We were moving from Illinois to South Carolina. We closed on the house on June 29th and notified Maria of this. Because we are moving so far, we asked them to give us a 4-5 day notice so we had time to get there, get hotel rooms along the way, in order to make sure we would be at the new house. We put down July 4th as our first available date. We heard nothing from the Moving Crew so we started calling asking for not a specific delivery date but for which week they were planning on coming so we could make arrangements on our part. Anything of value, such as jewelry and keepsakes, we moved ourselves but needed to rent a U Haul to get everything to SC which was another reason we needed a little advance notice. Despite numerous calls, Maria was unable to help. The Moving Crew had until July 16th to get our stuff to us per our contract. Finally, that week we headed down, secured hotel rooms on the way as well as a hotel to stay in at the new location. We kept being told that they had no information and Maria would call us back. She never did, despite several promises to do so on their end. On Tuesday, July 14th, we called again and were told that they were going to pack the truck on Wednesday and would call us to let us know if they would be here Thursday or Friday of that week. No one called as was the norm evidentally. On Wednesday, we reached out again and Maria said that the driver was suppose to have called us which of course he didn't. Because we were given the impression that Friday was the most liely delivery date, we had to extend our hotel stay one more day. At 5:30pm that same Wednesday, we received a call from the driver saying that they would be there in an hour! We rushed over there and the 2 men arrived at 6:30. We suggested that they unload the following morning but they wanted to do it that night which went well past midnight. I've heard of people moving out in the middle of the night but not moving in. The driver also told us that this was an unexpected trip for him as he was scheduled to make a delivery to Texas but was told to deliver our items instead. All of our boxes were marked as to what room to put them in, but as the time got later and later, boxed were just put anywhere. In addition, Moving Crew combined small boxes into large moving boxes of their own so items items were all mixed up. It took 5 days to find our silverware for example. Then, there were a few damaged items but 2 large ladders were missing. Again, we called Maria on Thursday, July 16th and informed her of the missing items, She said she would check with the driver and call us back. Well, it's been a week and we have heard nothing. We are working on filing an insurance claim with Safe Ship which I also do not recommend. I hate leaving negative reviews but we paid over $10,000 for this move but when you cannot have a call returned or dates narrowed down, I had no choice. Their customer service was terrible. I would have rated them one star but the men who picked up our items were very careful & efficient. I also didn't like that the head of the crew at pick-up, when we gave them a tip, asked us to put down a smaller amount on the document, I'm assuming for tax purposes. Maybe Maria thinks we only gave them $100 and that's why we couldn't get any assistance? I have no idea.
