Needed a storage unit was told I had to purchase insurance even tho I didn't want insurance. Was told I needed to purchase two locks for a total of $50 even tho I told them I have the same exact locks from my last storage unit. How do you force someone to buy your specific locks for $50 when they have their own locks already? That's criminal! I needed the unit because the movers were bringing my stuff the next day. I was in a bind and was forced to pay. When I get there I notice all the other units have different locks not $50 locks!!! Also there is no light in the unit this is 2026 and there is NO LIGHT IN THE UNIT! I will be moving out as fast as I can. What a waste of time and money. read more

A mass burglary of thirty plus units occurred at the Delray Beach Florida facility. What amazes me is the ease with which this happened, the lack of security at the facility, and the lack of transparency. My primary concern is that the locks were not cut but the lock slide plates. Even with professional tools they probably took 2 minutes to open each one which means that they were there over an hour. Cubesmart company makes a lot of money encouraging everyone to buy a certain type lock in order to have insurance, yet they use substandard materials in the actual plate. No cover Secondly, though the workers claim someone is always on premise, the fellow told me- "you can't expect me to be here ALL the time". The gates supposedly are closed after 7 pm. Yet these criminals were able to drive in and out. Though they had one camera broken, there are many throughout and obviously no one monitoring them. Thirdly, security is not important to them. A self closing glass door to the TEMEPERATURE controlled units has been broken for over a month. It takes quite a bit of strength to open, and people leave it open upon leaving. Finally, though I was notified that a burglary had occurred, my neighbor stores 4 motorcycles there and was NOT notified. I spoke to many folks who had been called and many that were not. Why not a mass e-mail? When I asked for a screen shot of the cameras (that saw the supposed vehicle) for a police report I was denied ("That's just for police!" I was told) When I suffered a burglary at StorQuest in California, I was quickly given a printout so I could file a police report. Since the employees aren't being transparent, I will alert the various news outlets with lots of pictures. I will be moving my three units as soon as I can arrange for a safer location. And as for reviews that say bug free... found lots of rat droppings in two of my units read more

Really slow service, computers don't work, mistakes keep me here a long time.

Hands down the best Storage Unit we've ever had! We have been customers here for over 10 years and have never even had an issue. Their units are exactly as advertised, they take great care of them, they inspect them and they keep them bug free and we'll maintained regularly. We just moved all of our belongings out after over 10 years of storage and didn't even find bugs or water. Everything was dry clean and in the same condition we left it...Absolutely amazed and very happy with the service. We will be coming back as soon as we are finished moving and have re evaluated our storage needs. That being said we owned three other storage units with different companies and every other move out was an issue that was completely out of our hands. This was the only storage company in the area we've been working with that was honest and did not give us some bullshit hassle for no reason. I highly recommend going this place for your storage needs. read more

Needed a place to store my father's belonging as we are selling his place and found them on yelp. Steve and Jen are great there, super friendly and courteous. They made sure all my needs were met. I was shown the facility and the only issue was that the handle to a side door was broken and I was assured that the repairman was inbound. The price point was great for a climate controlled unit and they have everything you need right there in the office. They will even help you load your moving supplies into your car. read more
