STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION!!!! I can't stand this place. There's always shady people loitering near the entrance. It's impossible to get anyone on the phone. I've come down almost every month trying to set up auto pay and it's always someone new at the office. Been here about 5 months. I came back from vacation had to make a payment manually because auto pay didn't go through again. 10 business days after making the payment I'm not even able to access my unit. The district manager of this facility is extremely unprofessional, misogynistic, and unreliable in communicating any concerns or issues. The unit next to my companies had paint explode and seep through the walls, damaging at least $12,000 worth of company desks and equipment. When attempting to move storage units because of this damage (with only a discount on the new unit's rent for our troubles), Rick (DM) would only allow a 3rd party mover who is originally a landscaper move our entire storage unit. The items were moved in a landscaping truck, and Rick (DM) refused to provide me with any liability insurance. The movers were extremely careful and kind with our belonging because they knew of our troubles, however Rick was rude and condescending on the phone when planning, and refused to provide any proof of insurance for our belongings being moved as well as refused to pay or approve a certified moving company. Although we loved our movers (Adil and his team), the District manager made it difficult on us and Adil. I do not recommend this location, nor any location under the District Manager Rick. This company is unprofessional, lacks communication, and does not have a process for damaged items, broken locks, or even answering a phone call back. read more

I moved into Cubesmart Storage Facility at 18275 Apache Dr in Parker Co in Oct. WILL, one of the personnel working there was great to work with & very helpful. I then received, from the Cubesmart a notice of a $50 price increase beginning in Feb 2026. I complained about such a huge increase & the DM that called me was a lady who's name i do not recall. All she offered me was a ten dollar discount along with a bag of excuses as to why the rent went up...i told her to keep it. The increase in rent would then have been $40 per month. IF they did not increase the rent again in 2026 it would cost me an extra $400 for the balance of the year without any further price increases. The DM tried to convince me that the price i moved in at was a ''deal'' offered to me at the time of moving in. However she could not provide me with any proof of that. If i decide to stay, the increase in rent, without any future increases would/will be $600 for the balance of the year.Though i would not trust them to Not increase the rent again. I will be moving out in March so they can only get me for the one increase of $50. I also found out, from other sources, that if i pay the rent for a full year, as many other storage companies allow you to do, then the rent stays the same thruout the year. Walt. A dismal experience. Over 12 years, fees increased increased six-fold. Price increases were always effective immediately. Managers changed frequently. In nearly all cases, the managers were difficult, indifferent people. Recently, they have begun answering the phone. But, years went by when the phone calls were not answered. The problems are chronic. It is an ownership problem that is not concerned with civility. My recommendation is to stay away. read more

My brother left his stuff with Cubesmart but passed away this fall. Cubesmart has been nothing but a nightmare in trying to retrieve his belongings. Just an awfully run company and I highly recommend never leaving your belongings with them. They force you to continue to pay for the storage while retrieving your deceased brother's belongings through litigation. I tried their help lines, corporate headquarters and district offices but got absolutely nothing but stonewalled. read more

This is not really the fault of the workers, though they should be better informed, but since this place keeps changing hands, you can't be certain that your secure unit will be secure. Just read this and you will see why... In the 14 months since I have rented a unit, at least five months have been problematic as to security because the lock on the door to my unit was taped and not secured with a code. The last time I called corporate and I had to shake up someone to get the lock serviced. I wasn't offered a renumeration for four months of conversations with the front desk (Catalina was in charge). Well, Catalina left on child care leave and now there are new caretakers, who I met today when the lock on the door to my unit was not opening, no matter what I did. They had to jimmy the lock open and borrow duct tape from me to, once again, secure the lock so people could get in without using the code since the door is broken-- again. However, think about this: what does that say about the safety of my unit? It says that because there are so many problems with the locks on my unit, I have spent way too many months with an insecure storage unit situation, which is not what I am paying for.... read more

Update: Even more horrible. Went to my unit on the day of Halloween to retrieve a costume I *needed* for a party. For the first time, I had inadvertently paid my bill a few days late the month prior, but arrived at my unit *eight* days after I brought my account current. To my absolute dismay and displeasure, the office STILL had a red lock on my unit, preventing me from accessing my stuff. Seriously?? They had over a week to remove the "paid-late" lock and yet, I was locked out, on a holiday, without my costume. Absolute garbage service. My previous review can be read here: Go elsewhere. I tried to access my unit during normal hours, with my bill paid in full of course, and the gate told me "We're sorry, this area currently closed." I called the main 1-800 number, and they gave me an bypass code, but but this took an hour to resolve at which point I had ten minutes to do my business... Absolutely ridiculous. I'm heading out of town tomorrow and cannot access *MY* CAMPING GEAR. ***EDIT: after this huge hassle, they gave me a months rent free. Thus, I'm changing my review from one star to two. The office manager informed me that "they have had prolonged issues with the gate not allowing access during normal hours." Really? With a hundred or more units and a huge corporate organization, they can certainly afford to fix the broken gate. For this reason I remain unsatisfied. read more

First moved into a nice large 10 X 30 unit when we began selling our home and preparing to move to another home near Chandler. At that time, CubeSmart staff was very helpful and very efficient. Our belongings were secured and our confidence with CubeSmart grew. Once we completed our move to our new house, we found that we still did not have enough room to keep all of our belongings at home. CubeSmart staff in Chandler were, once again, wonderful and helped us to make a smooth transition to a smaller unit. The accounting process was smooth and seamless with no stress. We are very happy with the competitive pricing and the attentive staff. I would recommend the Chandler CubeSmart to any of my friends or family...or anyone else, for that matter. read more

I switched from my old unit in a different place to here because of the 15% off and first month free. They sent me an invoice immediately. I had to call twice and leave messages, and it took over a week for them to finally return my call. Apparently, when they say "first month free" they mean last month, assuming you move out before the indicated date. It's in a sketchy area and I only really chose it because I thought I was getting a better price. Turns out, it's the most expensive of the different facilities in my area, and been the most headache. I won't be staying more than a couple months. read more

I have been a Client of CubeSmart in Chandler for about a year. I could not be happier! When I was shopping for a parking space the "introductory" offer was by far the best deal in the area(15 mile radius). Upon my first visit the staff was genuine friendly, very helpful, knowledgable and provided me options. The facility is always well kept, well lit, and they are always reachable via phone(which sadly can be hard to find these days). Upon expiration of my "introductory" 6 month package I explored numerous options including staying with them as they had always provide above and beyond service. They were great and made sure I was offered the best rate and/or terms available for my needs, and I am again getting the best deal in the area. THE STAFF CARES ABOUT THE CLIENT!! A constant fading concept... I park an RV there and when I pick it up they know it's gone and personally call me EVERY time within 1 day to confirm that I have removed it. What a great feeling to know somebody is looking after my stuff for me, as I do not go there frequently. They have earned my business by having my best interest in mind. THANK YOU! read more

When I walked into this place I told them what I needed and they were on it in no time they showed me the unit and it was so affordable. This was recently U-Store-It, but was assimilated by CubeSmart very recently. So far, I have not seen any major changes in service or the way they conduct business other than their letter notifying me of the change. This is a good thing, because their service has always been friendly and proactive. I have stored my extra wares there for about 3 years, and chose them after doing some shopping around for their nice facilities and competitive pricing (and proximity to my house.) What I didn't expect was the professionalism and friendly reception I have received since signing up with them. They remembered my name after only my first few visits, and made pleasant but not overly time consuming conversation with me... very down to earth. When there were any policy changes, of which there have only been a couple over the years, I was notified well in advance, and the required course of action was explained in a very clear way. It isn't located in the nicest neighborhood of Chandler, but it has always seemed very safe and secure, and they keep the place clean, and just repaved and repainted (prior to the corporate takeover.) the area is lighted, with incremental security cameras. I do not have a climate controlled storage space, but i believe they are available at this location. They have units of all sizes. Boxes and packing supplies are sold on-site. read more
