Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Got there at 6:45pm after a crazy day of running errands and packing cause I was moving out of the country the next day. We had to drop two small bags of valuable stuff we're not able to take on the plane with us. All the gates were closed and the office door's gate was halfway closed, so we could knock and someone opened. We told the woman at reception that we needed to drop our two bags really fast and she said 'last call' was at 6:45, I checked the clock and it was 6:46, I told her it was 6:45 when we got in and now she said last call was at 6:43. We told her we called in the morning and they said they closed at 7pm, we checked the website and my contract and it said access hours from Monday to Friday are 8am to 7pm and she kept saying she couldn't let us in. We explained our specific situation and told her we couldn't go the next day because we had an early flight and she wouldn't listen and she would just talk over me and yell. We went outside at 6:49 and found out that office and access hours were posted outside the building and both said 8 to 7. We tried to get into the office again (wasn't 7 yet) and she closed the gate in our faces. We called a phone number we found on the website and talked to a customer service agent, she tried to call the office to tell her to let us in and they wouldn't pick up the phone. I'm just mesmerized of how rude this woman was to us and how she wouldn't even let us talk or listen to us.

I have to move in a couple weeks. I need boxes in which to put stuff so I can have my stuff at my…read morenew place. I can't get these boxes by going by supermarkets, I need real boxes that have never been used. It's not me, it's my stuff - none of my things like to be anywhere where food, livestock or various sundries have been first. I have ordered from U-line in the past, but their shipping is outrageous, almost as much as the whole order. I did a little Google search and found suppliesformoving.com. At the time of the order, I had no idea they were in Brooklyn. The site is clean and all the information is readily accessible. One can guarantee that this website did not cost a lot of money, but it works. One of the best things about this company is that they have pre-prepared packages of boxes, tape, etc. divided by room and/or rooms which makes it a little easier. They have boxes for junk, boxes for tvs, boxes for lamps - are you following me here? They have supplies for moving - tape, blankets, plastic wrap, paper. So I go online and make my order (FREE shipping by the way on everything!) and expect it to come in a couple days according to the site. After the confirmation of sale is where it gets good. 30 minutes pass and I get a call from the company saying they can deliver today, the same day, in the late afternoon. OK. One hour later I get another call that they can deliver right now. Yes please. Approximately three hours after I ordered many, many boxes, they arrived in perfect shape. Having no idea this company was in Brooklyn, I guess I should consider myself lucky. The customer service was fantastic and the boxes have been working just fine. If you want quick, efficient service and if you want to get your supplies to pack and move in an instant, go to suppliesformoving.com.* ________________________ * If all of the bottoms of the boxes break while moving, damaging all of my kids' toys and my valuable possessions, I reserve the right to come back and be extremely agitated.

Park Circle Storage - State-of-the art-storage facility

Park Circle Storage

Kensington, Flatbush

My partner and I had a great experience at this storage place. I've rented several units from…read moreUhaul in the past, and in addition to finding them dirty and run down, I had an awful customer service experience last time and was seeking an alternative. Park Circle Storage is very convenient to where we live in Ditmas Park, and also shares the block with a zipcar parking lot, which is equally convenient for picking up and dropping off stuff to our unit. We reserved a space online and came in to sign the lease and get the keys. The service is really helpful and customer oriented, the manager was friendly and personable and very knowledgeable and invested in the facility. Unfortunately the unit we reserved online wasn't actually available when we got there, something about the way the system doesn't consider a space rented until the lease is signed in person... so we were disappointed to have to take a smaller space than we planned. However, we were given a discount for the inconvenience, and again the manager went out of his way to make sure we felt good about renting there. He also indicated that they were in the process of expanding, and put us on a wait list for the bigger unit. The facility itself is probably the best storage facility I've ever seen, and I've used several from different companies over the years. It's bright and modern and clean - very clean! I like that it's well lit, the units are metal with metal and concrete doors and floors, which reduces mice and bugs that sometimes plague other facilities. There was absolutely no trace of rodent droppings or bugs anywhere. There are dollies and movable stairs available to make it easier to get your stuff in and out, and I really liked that there was a loading bay in the back of the building where you can pull your car in and unload directly onto a dolly for easier maneuvering. It was GREAT not to have to double park on the street or circle the block to find street parking. The security there is great, when you get your key you get a code so you can come in and out anytime, and I liked that you can set the code yourself so it's easy to remember. I've been back several times to add things to our unit and each time the manager is personable and greets me familiarly, and the whole place just has the feel of a small, local business that really cares about its reputation and customers. Finally, they have other services as well - bike storage, mailboxes for rent and package receiving. I asked a lot of questions about these services, and was really happy to find out that we don't have to sign a contract for any specific time for any of them, we can add or subtract whatever we want as needed. Which means if we want to utilize their bike storage services just for the month of December when our apartment is crowded with guests in and out for the holidays all month we can, and then not be locked in, and the same with package reception, since we don't have a doorman. All in all, I'm super happy with this place, and happy to recommend it.

Clutter Moving & Storage - Clutter's professional moving experts

They are professional, efficient, mostly careful with belongings, and consistently helpful. If I could hire the movers themselves, I would; they are the strongest part of this company. Unfortunately, the claims/ and most customer service experience is the complete opposite, and it has reached a point where I would hesitate to use Clutter again. My original (close-out) appointment was cancelled because Clutter attempted a second authorization on my card without notifying me despite the fact that all fees had already been paid. I keep my cards locked due to past fraud, so the lack of communication directly caused the cancellation. When I contacted the claims department, the responses I received were unprofessional, templated, and dismissive. Instead of acknowledging this, the representative by the name of Dayane responded with, "I'm sorry that you felt the need to..." - a phrase that is inappropriate, unprofessional, and shifts blame onto the customer rather than addressing the company's actions. To make matters worse, when the issue was escalated, the next representative, used the phrase "from your perspective." As someone who has worked in customer service for most of my career, I know the difference between neutral language and dismissive, liability‑shielding language. Phrases like "your perspective" or "you felt the need to" are not neutral - they minimize the actual issue and place the burden back on the customer. This is not how I was trained to speak to customers, even in difficult situations, and it's concerning to see it used repeatedly as part of their standard script. To be fair, Karoll did offer to schedule a call, and I appreciated the willingness to follow up. But the fact that it took escalation to receive a basic level of professionalism only highlights the inconsistency and lack of training within the claims/customer service team. Clutter has a great concept and outstanding movers, but the claims/customer service department needs serious improvement. Until that happens, the customer service experience - not the movers - is the reason I would think twice before using Clutter again. BTW - A clothing rack and several of my bins were returned broken

From the moment they arrived, Ted and Damir were professional, punctual, and incredibly courteous. Moving can be stressful, but they immediately put me at ease with their calm, organized approach and clear communication. They handled every item with care and precision, treating my belongings as if they were their own. What really stood out was their efficiency and teamwork. They worked seamlessly together, moving quickly without ever sacrificing quality or attention to detail. Even with some challenging pieces and tight spaces, they remained patient, solution-oriented, and positive the entire time. On top of their skill, their attitude made a huge difference. Ted and Damir were friendly, respectful, and genuinely committed to making the experience as smooth as possible. It's rare to find a team that combines professionalism with such a personable touch. If you're considering using Clutter, I highly recommend it; and if you're lucky enough to get Ted and Damir, you're in excellent hands. They turned what could have been a stressful day into a smooth, even enjoyable experience.
