My partner and I had a great experience at this storage place. I've rented several units from…read moreUhaul in the past, and in addition to finding them dirty and run down, I had an awful customer service experience last time and was seeking an alternative. Park Circle Storage is very convenient to where we live in Ditmas Park, and also shares the block with a zipcar parking lot, which is equally convenient for picking up and dropping off stuff to our unit. We reserved a space online and came in to sign the lease and get the keys. The service is really helpful and customer oriented, the manager was friendly and personable and very knowledgeable and invested in the facility. Unfortunately the unit we reserved online wasn't actually available when we got there, something about the way the system doesn't consider a space rented until the lease is signed in person... so we were disappointed to have to take a smaller space than we planned. However, we were given a discount for the inconvenience, and again the manager went out of his way to make sure we felt good about renting there. He also indicated that they were in the process of expanding, and put us on a wait list for the bigger unit. The facility itself is probably the best storage facility I've ever seen, and I've used several from different companies over the years. It's bright and modern and clean - very clean! I like that it's well lit, the units are metal with metal and concrete doors and floors, which reduces mice and bugs that sometimes plague other facilities. There was absolutely no trace of rodent droppings or bugs anywhere. There are dollies and movable stairs available to make it easier to get your stuff in and out, and I really liked that there was a loading bay in the back of the building where you can pull your car in and unload directly onto a dolly for easier maneuvering. It was GREAT not to have to double park on the street or circle the block to find street parking. The security there is great, when you get your key you get a code so you can come in and out anytime, and I liked that you can set the code yourself so it's easy to remember. I've been back several times to add things to our unit and each time the manager is personable and greets me familiarly, and the whole place just has the feel of a small, local business that really cares about its reputation and customers. Finally, they have other services as well - bike storage, mailboxes for rent and package receiving. I asked a lot of questions about these services, and was really happy to find out that we don't have to sign a contract for any specific time for any of them, we can add or subtract whatever we want as needed. Which means if we want to utilize their bike storage services just for the month of December when our apartment is crowded with guests in and out for the holidays all month we can, and then not be locked in, and the same with package reception, since we don't have a doorman. All in all, I'm super happy with this place, and happy to recommend it.

Calling during business hours? FIRST OFF, Let me just say that I tried using the redbin phone application. That too is a piece of crap. Actually from DAY ONE it's been a piece of crap. I totally have the email to prove that and that it was to be up and running in a few days. That was Nov 2016. We are now in May 2017!!! It's still a piece of crap. So I should call during business hours? Are you f'ing kidding me? That is just Genius! Ummmm, I DID. REPEATEDLY! Maybe you conveniently didn't get that memo like my emails requesting my items. YOUR VOICE MAIL/PHONE SYSTEM WAS MOT WORKING PROPERLY! IT CONTINUED TO HANG UP WHEN IT WAS TIME FOR ME TO LEAVE MY MESSAGE! TRUST ME, I tried! Luckily IN THE MIDSLE OF MY MADNESS, or not so luckily because no one EVER returned the call anyway, I was able to get ONE VOICE MAIL IN REQUESTING A CALL BACK AND THAT I WANTED ALL MY ITEAMS. Clearly you are under staffed. I also learned you were overbooked AND OVERWHELMED moving collage students ALL OVER BROOKLYN at this time but, that's not my problem. I paid you for a service that was suppose to make my life less stressful. Certainly not a great big headache and incapable of handling the demands. SoOOOOOOoo, please do not attempt to make me the bad guy here because I can easily POST A PRINT OUT OF all my call logs and emails to prove my yelp post Is an accurate review of REDBIN's services!

She even confirmed that I would like her to update my address, I said yes, and then I received a call from the delivery driver this morning checking that my address is my old address (he was outside of my old apartment)! Seriously, wtf? This service is useful and convenient, but the customer service is TERRIBLE. The rep I dealt with seemed unable to answer simple clarification questions without a huge amount of attitude and bizarre miscommunications. When she picked up, I told her that I can't log in to my account because password reset emails never arrive (and aren't in my spam folder, or anywhere else), so can I please just schedule to have my stuff dropped off over the phone? She puts me on hold immediately, and then returns to ask me HOW I WANT MY PASSWORD RESET. I'm like, no, I don't care about that...I want my stuff back, can I schedule that on the phone? She puts me on hold again. Then she comes back and says, "OK, when do you want it?" I ask, "When can I have drop-off? Can you give me some time slots?" She tells me "6-8" tomorrow (Sunday) is available, so I say yes, assuming that means 6-8pm (it didn't). Then she asks me about whether I would like to have the driver wait 20 minutes or schedule bin pick-up for later, and I ask how much it would cost to have the bins picked up later. It's $17, so I pick that option. Then she tells me that I can schedule that online or via phone. I ask if I can't just schedule this later bin pick-up on the phone with her right now, and she gets confused and starts condescendingly "clarifying" about whether I am saying that I want my bins with my stuff in them scheduled later (instead of tomorrow). No, why would I be saying that, when we were just talking about scheduling empty bin pick-up?? And why doesn't it make sense to her that I want to schedule for ya'll to pick up my empty bins while we're on the phone right now, instead of having to repeat this nonsensical process all over again tomorrow or next week? Then she walks through the time slots, and when I stop her to clarify when she says that my stuff will be dropped off between 6-8 AM (because I originally thought she meant 6-8pm), she interrupts me to start repeating the whole spiel, instead of just listening to my simple question for 2 seconds. What the eff? Please hire some better reps.

I took on this company based on an amazing recommendation...and after talking to the salesperson Tony, he convinced me to go with them - good rate (decently priced, professionalism, and timing). i won't even get into the hypes as there are so few - but gripes - i have plenty: my GRIPES with SCAM-io: 1. They didn't come to do a walk through to see what all we had - and gave us a quote of 1500 dollars for the entire move ( we had a 2 bed 1.5 bath) 2. the quote was 1500 dollars but they ended up charging us MORE THAN 3000. 3. There were HIDDEN CHARGES which we argued we were not told upfront - bc they couldn't finish packing all in time, they required to keep our stuff overnight and move us the next day - there was a $200 OVERNIGHT fee for this. 4. They said they were sending me 4 guys to pack - they sent only 3 the days of. The guys did an OK job packing but WASTED a lot of material that didn't need it (used unnecessary amounts of paper to double wrap things that weren't delicate or needed it), picture boxes for things that weren't glass or fine paintings). 5. we were charged $800 in PACKING MATERiALS - like boxes and paper (note: most of the boxes were not full to the brim and paper was double wrapped as I discovered when unpacking) 6. TRAVEL FEE: like WTH is this. They charged us 100 dollars for a "travel fee" of the time it took to pick up their truck from their place to come to our apartment, and another 100 for the way back. So for two days that was another BOGUS $400 charge. 7. and in the end we had to get SCAM-io'ed and pay them bc they refused to deliver our stuff unless we paid them in CASH before they delivered. YOU SUCK SCAMIO. PLEASE BE CAREFUL IF YOU DECIDE TO GO WITH THEM.

We strongly caution anyone against using this moving company…read more Our experience with this company was extremely disturbing. During our move, a substantial amount of our property went missing, including antiques and valuable, one-of-a-kind items that had significant financial and sentimental value. We reported the missing property to the police and filed a claim through our insurance. Despite the seriousness of what happened, the moving company has refused to take responsibility or provide a satisfactory explanation for the missing items. This was not a situation where a few inexpensive belongings were misplaced. We are talking about thousands of dollars' worth of property that was entrusted to this company while it was in their care. We hired professional movers because we trusted them with our home and our belongings. Looking back, there were warning signs that we wish we had taken more seriously. Based on our experience, we would strongly advise others to thoroughly research this company and take extreme precautions before entrusting them with valuable belongings. Keep detailed inventories, photograph everything, and document the condition of your property before the movers arrive. We are still dealing with the consequences of this experience months later.
