I called to speak to management and the person that answered the second call said that she would have management call me. Never received that call. So I am posting to let people know that if you rent from them be prepared for attitude. You don't get to talk nasty and rude to me and than hang up on me.

I've rented several units from…read moreUhaul in the past, and in addition to finding them dirty and run down, I had an awful customer service experience last time and was seeking an alternative. Park Circle Storage is very convenient to where we live in Ditmas Park, and also shares the block with a zipcar parking lot, which is equally convenient for picking up and dropping off stuff to our unit. We reserved a space online and came in to sign the lease and get the keys. The service is really helpful and customer oriented, the manager was friendly and personable and very knowledgeable and invested in the facility. Unfortunately the unit we reserved online wasn't actually available when we got there, something about the way the system doesn't consider a space rented until the lease is signed in person... so we were disappointed to have to take a smaller space than we planned. However, we were given a discount for the inconvenience, and again the manager went out of his way to make sure we felt good about renting there. He also indicated that they were in the process of expanding, and put us on a wait list for the bigger unit. The facility itself is probably the best storage facility I've ever seen, and I've used several from different companies over the years. It's bright and modern and clean - very clean! I like that it's well lit, the units are metal with metal and concrete doors and floors, which reduces mice and bugs that sometimes plague other facilities. There was absolutely no trace of rodent droppings or bugs anywhere. There are dollies and movable stairs available to make it easier to get your stuff in and out, and I really liked that there was a loading bay in the back of the building where you can pull your car in and unload directly onto a dolly for easier maneuvering. It was GREAT not to have to double park on the street or circle the block to find street parking. The security there is great, when you get your key you get a code so you can come in and out anytime, and I liked that you can set the code yourself so it's easy to remember. I've been back several times to add things to our unit and each time the manager is personable and greets me familiarly, and the whole place just has the feel of a small, local business that really cares about its reputation and customers. Finally, they have other services as well - bike storage, mailboxes for rent and package receiving. I asked a lot of questions about these services, and was really happy to find out that we don't have to sign a contract for any specific time for any of them, we can add or subtract whatever we want as needed. Which means if we want to utilize their bike storage services just for the month of December when our apartment is crowded with guests in and out for the holidays all month we can, and then not be locked in, and the same with package reception, since we don't have a doorman. All in all, I'm super happy with this place, and happy to recommend it.

They kept the doors open for my transfer from one unit to another and opened the gate each and every time I needed it. The place is clean and easy to get to. They all you a few days before payment is due so you don't pay fees either. Price is a bit high but I think storage is expensive. I think is is a cool spot if you need a place to drop off some stuff. It's like having an extra closet.

Doing her best to make sure I feel special and am a satisfied customer . She is a real credit to the company . The storage faicility is clean, well taken care of and safe. I was hit with multiple rent increases despite being told my rent would not be increased. Good luck trying to get anyone on the phone, because the staff basically never picks up. I was also told I needed insurance, only to later find out the coverage was practically worthless: $250 in coverage with a $100 deductible, meaning it effectively covers only $150. Then came the worst part: mouse feces in the unit that destroyed several thousand dollars' worth of my belongings. After all of that, I was told during move-out that I could leave my remaining items in the unit as part of a verbal agreement, only to be charged again anyway. This place is a complete nightmare. Between the rent increases, lack of communication, useless insurance, rodent issues, destroyed property, and surprise charges, I have no idea how this business operates this way. She even confirmed that I would like her to update my address, I said yes, and then I received a call from the delivery driver this morning checking that my address is my old address (he was outside of my old apartment)! Seriously, wtf? This service is useful and convenient, but the customer service is TERRIBLE. The rep I dealt with seemed unable to answer simple clarification questions without a huge amount of attitude and bizarre miscommunications. When she picked up, I told her that I can't log in to my account because password reset emails never arrive (and aren't in my spam folder, or anywhere else), so can I please just schedule to have my stuff dropped off over the phone? She puts me on hold immediately, and then returns to ask me HOW I WANT MY PASSWORD RESET. I'm like, no, I don't care about that...I want my stuff back, can I schedule that on the phone? She puts me on hold again. Then she comes back and says, "OK, when do you want it?" I ask, "When can I have drop-off? Can you give me some time slots?" She tells me "6-8" tomorrow (Sunday) is available, so I say yes, assuming that means 6-8pm (it didn't). Then she asks me about whether I would like to have the driver wait 20 minutes or schedule bin pick-up for later, and I ask how much it would cost to have the bins picked up later. It's $17, so I pick that option. Then she tells me that I can schedule that online or via phone. I ask if I can't just schedule this later bin pick-up on the phone with her right now, and she gets confused and starts condescendingly "clarifying" about whether I am saying that I want my bins with my stuff in them scheduled later (instead of tomorrow). No, why would I be saying that, when we were just talking about scheduling empty bin pick-up?? And why doesn't it make sense to her that I want to schedule for ya'll to pick up my empty bins while we're on the phone right now, instead of having to repeat this nonsensical process all over again tomorrow or next week? Then she walks through the time slots, and when I stop her to clarify when she says that my stuff will be dropped off between 6-8 AM (because I originally thought she meant 6-8pm), she interrupts me to start repeating the whole spiel, instead of just listening to my simple question for 2 seconds. What the eff? Please hire some better reps.
