My unit is in a HORRIBLE side of town with a LITERAL crack house next door but the rate increases happen every 5 to six months. I went from paying $55 (insurance included) and now pay $71 because they brought my rate down slightly with hardships, but next Nov it will be over $120 for a 6x10 in an awful area. Be sure you don't plan on keeping your things longterm because they screw you.

When you perhaps need a lock cut or need anything of the storage unit nature, it's not as easy as walking into their office. But when you have the appointment, they are so helpful and nice. I suppose that's really not so bad considering the decent price in this small storage unit operation. The units are just fine and what makes this place special is the unique, local vibe to it. No corporate gimmicks or pricing.

There are large gaps between the doors and the ground, but that can be fixed with some plastic wrap if you're super concerned about it. If you're here for your first time, the minimum is 100 miles and you'll be charged 100$ as a "down payment " . I drove 30 miles and ended up paying 65$ (with a cargo van)..... needless to say NEVER using ts again‍ 0/10 for communication 0/10 for fast service and 0/10 for having no organization. The guy was dropping the keys as he was looking for my rental and even with his fanny pack everything was jumbled. I'm leaving this review here as proof of my unorganized and unsatisfactory experience because in 2026 ts should NOT be like this. Upgrade your computers too, like why did I have to scan my ID and put in my info TWICE. "Yeah sometimes our systems don't take the first time" like SO WHERE DID MY INFO GO?? Why does it say my name and my reservation time when you're in my face telling me you can't find my reservation...... at least turn the computer.... Also, this company is ANTI-UNION. Having a display in your workers area (break room area) as an expressive Anti-union is actually pretty funny. U-Haul, please for the love of god do better :)

I just received a letter that they will be raising my rent to $54. I called their office and it seems that this is something they often do and will possibly do again in 6 months, pretty disappointing, and stressful to have such uncertainty in cost.
