Tried this place for the first time today. I ordered the tri tip salad and the Gypsy. On the Gypsy the only good part was the meat and bun were a good quality. The bbq sauce was weak and sweet which they should have balanced out with a pickle or crispier patty. The bacon seemed like a poor quality. The onions were not Caramelized enough to pair with the bbq sauce. On the Tri Tip Salad the steak wasn't seasoned at all making it bland. The lemon Cilantro vinaigrette had a touch to much cilantro to taste. The other aspects of the salad worked together but the vinaigrette flavor and steaks blandness didn't make it a 4 star salad. The meal was also pretty price in comparison with other restaurants I've been to which have better burgers and salads. read more

Got our food...no fork for my salad, no ketchup (which we specifically asked for), no fry sauce, ice melted in my husband's Diet Coke, cold fries. A good burger is my "go to" food. And when I "need" a good burger, I typically grab the T-Rex from Cubby's. Yes, it's the kids meal burger but I find it's the perfect size for me. On this occasion I opted to drive through which proved a bit challenging given the actual drive through street is sequestered between a couple of restaurant buildings and not identified as the Cubby's drive through. Once located, I pulled up to the menu board and proceeded to wait for the usual welcome greeting. No such greeting was given. I eventually uttered a "hello" and received a reply of "give me a minute." This has me worried and I actually thought about driving away but the call of the burger beckoned me. After placing my order I noticed a sign posted on the drive through window stating breakfast was being discontinued to allow employees more time with their families. This made me chuckle and readying between the lines I took it to mean breakfast service wasn't as profitable as management had hoped -haha, but props for trying to spin it as concern for employees. Iv eaten at cubby's a few time and it's been great this time it was not so good. They lost our ticket so after about 35 minutes a young lady came and asked us what we ordered we told her then she told us " oh your food has been done for a while someone lost your ticket " Witch to me is a big concern how many people are not getting food they paid for or getting the wrong food. Once she brought us food it was cold and their were hairs in both orders of the fries witch is really gross. I will say we did get a full refund but hair in food and lack of attention to customers has to be noted. read more

There was literally four other people in the restaurant and it took them about 35 minutes to make one sandwich. On top of that, when I got my sandwich, it was freezing cold. Don't expect your food to be warm. If you want to eat at a restaurant run by teenagers making below average food then this is the place for you. read more

I really love the wild rice kale salad (sweet crunchy apples, tender kale, tangy balsamic dressing, salty goat cheese...mmmm....) and I can't forget sweet potato fries with maple. It is so yummy. Just a suggestion from a vegetarian: I order meals and ask for no meat - I find it ridiculous to pay full price for an item without the meat. Unless I can make a substitution. I always ask if I can substitute the meat for extra avocado and I am ALWAYS charged extra for the avocado. As a result, I don't come to Cubby's anymore. Chipotle is across the street and I can get guac all day instead of meat at no extra charge. Because of this only giving 3 stars. read more

Love the food, but don't go if you've got a short lunch hour. The drive up window is ridiculously slow. You'll get stuck in line and not be able to exit. Takes about 5 min per car to get through, so if you see 4 cars in front of you, deduct 20 min from your lunch break. They really need to figure out a way to get people through quicker. read more

DO NOT ORDER OFF POSTMATES, UNLESS YOU ENJOY FRUSTRATION! I'm going to start off by saying that we are living in strange times, so I give Cubby's the benefit of the doubt for that. Maybe they are a great place to dine in. But they really shouldn't be on Postmates. At all. My boyfriend and I had been traveling all day, and decided to get some pick-up off Postmates. We chose Cubby's, which was the first mistake in many in the time that immediately followed. We ordered 2 burgers, 2 fry orders, and a shake. Let me list the failures of this place: 1. We waited for our food for 30 minutes after Postmates told us our order was ready. We were instructed to park in a numbered spot and text Cubby's what number we were in. We texted them, waited 10 minutes, still nothing. I'm going to start off by sayii 2. We called them asking where our food was, and they said that they didn't have shakes at the moment (why was it listed on Postmates then?) and that they would not be able to refund us the money because they "didn't know how to refund through Postmates" so we would have to contact Postmates ourselves to get the refund. Doesn't quite make sense, since Cubby's holds the card under the order is complete, so they should be able to take the item off the order. 3. Once we got our food, we checked to make sure we had everything. One order of fries was missing. My boyfriend called them 3 times in a row, to no avail. I then called them 3 times, to which they finally picked up. I explained to them that we were missing an order off fries (which cost $5 btw) and they said that the fries were not listed on their order ticket. But yet here we are looking at the order on Postmates and it specifically lists everything, including the shake that they don't carry. The worker insisted that the second fry order wasn't on their ticket. 4. When complaining to the manager on the phone about our wait time, he decided to turn the blame onto us by saying we had parked in the wrong numbered section. Fair enough, we did, but we were outside the restaurant that is directly connected to Cubby's. So we weren't in the hinterlands. If they were so confused on how to find us, they had our number from texting them earlier, they could have called us and we would have gladly moved to "their" parking spot. That would have taken 3 minutes, but he claimed we were the reason why we got our food 30 minutes late. Note to the manager; don't blame customers (that aren't from here) for mistakes that you can easily prevent/correct yourself! 5. This is a petty complaint, but they didn't even include the ketchup in the fry order we DID get. So no shake, no second order of fries, no ketchup. Took over an hour for mediocre food. McDonald's runs laps on these guys. Do better! Postmates will be contacted and hopefully we can get refunded for the 2/5 items we didn't receive. read more

This place is pretty good. I tried the Houdini burger and rosemary fries. Both were great! Fry sauce is good and nice drink selection. My husband got the buffalo fries which may be a little ambitious, but fine as long as you eat them with a fork. I wanted the "Cockadoodledoo" but will probably be too embarrassed to ever order it just because of the cutesy name. I am not a fan of the "booths" which looked like a prison shower stall with depressing low wattage bulbs. Floors were very dirty. read more

I can't do it anymore. After dozens of visits to my former favorite restaurant, I'm beyond fed up with the poor service. EVERY SINGLE TIME, my order had a mistake and EVERY time, rather than try to apologize and resolve the problem, they argued with us. "It doesn't come with sweet potato fries. Yes. That's why we ordered it separately. This is the wrong dressing. No it's not. Then go get it yourself." The food is great. That's not the problem. (Except for the hair I found in my fry sauce during my latest visit). The problem is the service. It's just poorly run, the employees appear poorly trained and though I've contacted the ower quite a few times, nothing seems to change. read more

We love Cubby's! The staff is friendly and salads are delicious! The drive through can have a long wait but a lot of these bad reviews seem exaggerated... if you ever do have an issue the employees are very apologetic and will help correct the issue. One of the employees recommended adding grapes to the wild rice and kale salad and it was delicious! Some of my other favorite items are the breakfast burrito, steak salad, buffalo chicken salad with jalapeño ranch, Che, 3 cheese grilled cheese, sweet potato fries, and chicken poblano soup! read more

I eat here multiple times a week, and get the same thing each time. It's always fresh and delicious, plus it's incredibly filling. This isn't the fastest joint, so if you're in a hurry, I suggest calling ahead to pick it up, but that's what you get when fresh food is involved. read more

Cubby's running out of Italian sausage is the equivalent of McDonald's broken ice cream machines. Why have something on the menu if you guys are constantly out of Schindler hotdogs? I vote for cubby's to implement a giant neon sign that says "Sausage Shortage" or some shit so we don't have to waste anyone's time ordering something that is out of stock Edit: thank you for your response Cubby J! A local favorite! So many good options on the menu, but my favorite is the Tri-tip steak salad. My husband loves the cocka-doodle sandwich. My kids live the macncheese. They were sad to see the kids hotdog leave the menu. So glad they are still serving breakfast on Saturdays! It really is the best quick breakfast around. I love the egg burrito, brioche french toast, and avocado toast sample plate. The AF location has a drive thru too! read more

Excellent experience! We were greeted by friendly people, had an easy ordering process, and found a clean table quickly. The food is delicious. We had the Dragonslayer and the new Veg Salad. Their burgers are some of the best I've had. And, their veg salad was excellent. The hummus and pita bread were great additions to the salad. Great food! Great service! read more

I usually enjoy Cubbys. I love their salads I usually get. I tried a seasonal kale salad I asked what was on it. They named only half of the ingredient. It had mostly strong cheese and was terrible. It had pretty random flavoring. I just spent $70 there. So I went and asked if they could possibly give me another salad with less cheeses and random tastes. I don't complain very often but if I had a situation like this anywhere else they would have remade me something else. I even suggested another dressing and new lettuce and I could keep my chicken I ordered for the side. The guy there said he was the manager and he couldn't remake me anything just because I didn't like something new I decidEd to try. I said I just wanted fresh lettuce or a new small salad because I was hungry & I just paid over $70 (tipped them $10) he repeated he would NOT remake me anything. I've never had anyone be so rude. He said he was the manager and his name was Logan and he couldn't do anything about my salad. I won'T be going there again. The food honestly is pretty good. I often used to go for lunch since I work in the area. A month or so ago I would have given them a 3-4 star since the pricing is a bit much for what you get and their kids menu is horrible. However recently their service has just fallen apart. Today I got there before noon and got done ordering just after 12. It took nearly 40 minutes to get me my food. I didn't order anything specialized or make any demanding requests. Just a burger straight from the menu and fries. I don't know what's happening there, if its management's bad planning for keeping it staffed sufficient for demand or what, but they weren't even that busy. 40 min. is way too long to wait for a burger place like this. If you are looking for a quick lunch stay away unless you have an hour and a half or more. read more

Still paid for my food and since they never give me a receipt I can't go back and try to get my actual food. This is the problem with cubby's in American Fork. The food is great the wait is horrendous! I've been sitting in the drive-through line for about 20 minutes and when I pull up to get my soup they tell me there's still four minutes to get the soup ready. I don't understand how you can't anticipate people ordering things for lunch? This is not the first time I've had to wait in line for a long time. You need to figure out a better system. I ordered the beet & goat salad and a Mediterranean salad. Both good and flavorful.we ordered the rosemaaey fRIes and the buffalo blue cheese fries. Both were good but the latter was our favorite. Husband ordered a chicken sandwich that was on the special menu and he LOVED IT! He also ordered the cheeseburger and said it wasn't anything special..just tasted like any other cheeseburger.
