I used the drive thru at this location. We went a little late, 8pm, but there was no line. There are two vegetarian entree options on the menu. They have a black bean burger and a portobello sandwich. I ordered the portobello sandwich. You can get it without cheese and no pesto if you want. It is delicious. They also have kids meals. My kids got the Mac n cheese. The kids meals come with a side of fruit and a drink (soda, apple juice, or choc milk). My kids both liked the Mac n cheese. My oldest said it tasted kind of like it had some ranch dressing on it (it doesn't, but she loves ranch). I helped them eat the fruit because they didn't want to finish it and it was fresh and yummy. Getting a little better each time I try it. Had the try tip steak sandwich this time. I ordered it el caliente (spicy) and I didn't get any extras on it... Love their sweet potato fries with a side of maple. Perfect crisp to them. Rosemary fries are pretty bland in my opinion. There kids meals are okay for $5.49. We don't live in Utah, but all of our family does, and so we visit a couple of times a year. When we first tried cubby's back in 2016 we were obsessed! We went twice in one trip. Since then, with each return trip, it has dropped further down on my must eat list for when we are visiting. They always tend to be sooo busy, but the food can be a hit and a miss, sometimes the flavor just isn't quite there. Not sure what exactly. Has changed. But the past couple times, while good the burgers don't wow me like they used to. The burgers would get 3.5 stars. Maybe next time I will try another sandwich or a salad. But what really keeps me coming back again and again are their buffalo blue cheese fries. Those things are absolute heaven. I dream of those fries. Their shakes are always really yummy too. *updated review* The manager of this Cubby's reached out, apologized and offered a gift card. I was able to try Cubby's twice more dining in and the service was much better. Every time we order from here they mess it up. This time was worse because we ate at a park (not at home to fix their mistakes) and they didn't give us dressing, and we only got half salads when we paid for full. This is a dumb complaint, but when you are hangry and this is a consistent issue, it's so frustrating. read more

Their prices were substantially higher than what is listed here. We got 3 burgers, 2 fries, & 2 drinks and it was over $70!!!! The lettuce on my burger was horrible, limp lettuce. Lettuce on a burger should be crisp. We didn't enjoy the burger buns either. Very new age, hipster food. It was horrible. Should have gone to In & Out. It would have been better food and half the price. The booths are uncomfortable and have an annoying echo. The seats were just raw wood with no cushions. I went through the drive through yesterday at the American Fork location and when I got home found these burnt sweet potato fries in my half-filled bag. This happened to me at the Lehi location not too long ago but because I was dining in, I was able to replace the burnt fries with new ones. These are completely inedible!! I really appreciated his concern to a customer not having a good experience. This time we went through the drive through and the staff was very friendly and attentive. We tried their burgers and fries and it was a success. Tasted very good! I took a shot at the Dragonslayer without onions for allergy, turned out great. Tasted very artisan-y. Meat was tasty, and the flavors were wonderful. Even tasted healthy, which is what I think Chubby's strives for. Not as greasy but still good taste. We asked for over easy eggs. The first time they came out they were severely undercooked oozing clear whites. We asked them to remake the eggs and instead of cooking new ones they stuck the old ones in the fryer and left part of the old one chopped off (to the right in the photo on the toast) which was still NOT cooked. Whoever decided to stack cooked mushrooms on burgers is a genius. If you want to feel good about eating a burger come here. They're food is all organic, fresh and local! You don't feel icky and greasy like from most fast food burgers. Their Houdini and gypsy burgers are my favorite here. Thick patty and buns filled with fresh greens and specific toppings. My favorite part of the burger is the bun tho. I LOVE bread and I could eat just the buns. It's a denser bun and holds the contents all together. None of that fall apart bun like McDonald's. The wild rice and kale salad is the best salad I've ever had. I don't say that lightly. Although I do think that goat cheese tastes like a farm so I substitute that for feta and it's perfection :) Their sweet potato fries are amazing, as well as the buffalo bleu cheese fries. Everything seemed fine. The menus looked great. I was super excited about either the Houdini or the Schindler, but I had no idea. We waited in line for at least 15 minutes. Not a big deal. It's lunch time. We placed our order. Nothing special. I went with the Houdini and my wife opted for a salad. None of the employees had tried the key lime pie. We got it anyway. Still, nothing too out of the usual. We sat down. Drank our waters and waited and waited and waited and waited... like pioneer children (wait they sang, but I'm sure they did a ton of waiting, too. After an hour of waiting, we couldn't manage any longer. We asked for our food to go and 10 minutes later, our food came out. Late for an appointment, but happy pioneer children. I had to eat my Houdini in the car because we were now late. And that's when it hit me... they call it Houdini because someone makes about 1/2 the burger disappear. It tasted alright, but the portions were probably appropriate for a... well, pioneer child. In the end, I wouldn't recommend it. The food was okay. Nothing SUPER. Just okay at best. I love getting the lemon chicken salad with extra cherry tomatoes on top. It's one of the only salads that I can finish without getting tired of it too soon! My husband normally gets the Tetonka and loves it, but we are trying the Houdini burger tonight....will update soon! I highly recommend getting a rice crispy treat to share and getting some fries as well. This location takes a really, really long time to prepare food for the drive-through, so I would almost rather just go in and get going on my drink. cubby's is one of those restaurants that just wins for me. it really doesn't matter what you order here, it's all insanely good. my favorites for lunch and dinner are the lemon parmesan salad, buffalo chicken salad, and the pikey sandwich. best sides are the mac n cheese and the maple sweet potato fries- those things are to die for. both the huck-a-lala and blueberry buttermilk shakes are good. this review specifically, is about their breakfast. i've gone to cubby's for lunch or dinner for years- since the lehi location opened in 2014. their breakfast however, i did not have the pleasure of trying until just last week, i went on both thursday and saturday morning, i was so surprised to see the place mostly empty both times, especially on a saturday! i ended up trying two different things, the lemon ricotta pancakes and the brioche french toast. both were great, but the french toast was especially good. both items were around $8, and we ended up getting bacon and eggs on the side as well. all that good food for two for around $20. it's hard to believe that it took me so long to try it, especially when I've wasted time and money trying to get breakfast from crowded black bear across the street. if you haven't tried cubby's for breakfast yet, (or for any meal), the time is now people! it's seriously good! read more

First visit here. Every one was nice and friendly. I order the red dragon burger. Taste was fresh and really good. Problem I had was the burger was not cooked all the way. I let up with a friend here for lunch and it is such a great spot for a nice chat! They have a patio area I can't wait to try out once spring comes! Anyway, the hamburgers are incredible as are the sweet potato fries and the fry sauce. Yummmm! They are good to work with gluten free, but you have to make sure you ask about gluten and what has gluten in it. They are happy to make adjustments to their menu items as needed, though. The person that took our order was too busy trying to see what her friends were doing outside in the car. I get eating healthy and clean, but there still needs to be flavor. My boyfriend got the rosemary fries and the Houdini. Both horribly bland, dry and the burger a burnt. Goodness I have needed to update this. The owner reached out to me about our poor experience and we have cubbys another try having a better experience. My husband ended getting a double burger. He said it was good burger. I still find prices a little high double burger being $10 without fries and a drink but that's kinda the going rate at every burger placed around here. I got the tri tip salad which I felt was good and healthy. My only suggestion is maybe give a little more dressing on the side. We took ours to go and the dressing was not enough and towards the end I was eating dry lettuce which isn't quite as good. We also got the rosemary fries which we thought were probably best part of our meal. Overall I think having a better experience this place is good. Prices little high but they advertise this is quality food and the meats do taste like quality not cheap crap.
