I started here because it's pretty convenient & i love it! I usually never really make appointments. When i come in I'm greeted and sat promptly right after. Lena does my nails and i believe she is new but she does my nails exactly how i ask for them. They don't rush you and they take their time on your nails. My first set (pinkish glitter) is a squared shaped and the blue set is coffin shaped. If you are on a time crunch i would def make an appointment in case they are busy that day. They do charge extra for length & shape however, their prices are not that expensive to begin with so it is not too bad. Went in today on my lunch break, they told me I would have a spot ready when I get there at 12:30. I got there in time as well... waited 10 minutes... still was very patient to get sat down.. (by the way not busy) then I got someone new wow what a horrible job I received. Not only did I notice but as well the coworkers, and nobody tried to help. I was already running late, told her to keep going and paid and left. The filing so awful, the cut and the panting of the toes. My niece could do a better job, and she's 8. Very disappointed, this used to be my spot for the longest time. Management and personal have gone down the drain. Crystal Nails jacked up their prices as well... They did a phenomenal job on our nails. My friend had pearl as her nail tech and I had Lucy. I removed one star due to the fact that my first time with Lucy she charged me $17 for a refill and polish (regular nail polish). The second time I came for the exact same refill with polish and she charged me $25. Does that mean they're just making up random prices now? Also I was told by the owner that it was a 10 minute wait for Lucy. I look over and Lucy was just starting on a manicure. I waited for over 35 minutes. I got there at 4:35 Pm and I left the salon around 7:03 pm. I had a refill with polish and a basic pedicure right after. All the other places I've been to have either: cut my cuticles too deep (I always end up bleeding!), didn't shape my nails correctly, didn't put the polish all the way on my nail, didn't do the shellac properly, or charged TOO much for a poor job. I was recommended this place by a friend and I thought, "Why not give it a try?" I came and it was so busy! I've never seen a nail salon this busy before. So I knew that they must be good. I didn't wait long either. I went with a friend and the ladies who did our nails were so thorough. They made sure we got what we wanted. My friend and I both got fake nails using the powder method (not shellac). They double checked the lengths of each nail, made sure the fake nail was not too thick so it would look natural, and they only charged us $35 each! Judy is my go to nail tech! I go every 3 weeks and they last too. I do gel nails(shellac) and get a different color every time but the brand is always Tammy Taylor. Judy remembers my name and genuinely wants to know how I've been. She treats my nails very gently and removes the shellac without damaging my nail bed. She always makes sure I'm happy with my nails before I leave. If I don't like something she just says okay and fixes it quickly. My nails have never looked better! There were some gaps in my nails by my cuticle (looked like my nails were worn in). I asked them to fill in the gaps but they told me that becuase of my cuticles, they couldn't fill it in and that of they did that it wouldn't last? I feel that this should have been my decision. This place is just what I need - mani/pedi for the low. I've gone to a number of nail salons and while they vary with size, ambience, customer service and services, you leave with the same outcome. Gel manis for $20 here is a steal. They have SO many colors to choose from and both my nail techs were good at mixing colors to get me the color I was going for. Basic pedis here are $20 - it does the job, your massage comes with a hot stone and it's cheap so no complaints. And they're hygienic - they line their chairs with a plastic bag and use new tools for each customer. As long as my cuticles are done, the paint is within the nail and the color looks good, I'm happy! Definitely recommend calling for an appointment, it can get crazy busy and it's not a big salon. I love coming when it's not too busy, I can get my mani/pedi done at the same time and be out within an hour! read more

Not only did they charge me $40 for this paint job who a 5 yr old could have done better, but they laughed because my nails were short. This is the worst customer service I have EVER received. She didn't even take off the fake nails completely, so I have bumps on my nails that she just painted over. I'll give them one star because another employee was apologizing to me for her co workers' rudeness, but I wish I could give 0. They also don't wear gloves (during a pandemic). This place is TERRIBLE. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I am new to the area and sadly, I'll have to find another salon. Horrible male manager with no sense of how to treat his customers! Never friendly. Didn't even answer the phone with the name of the company when I called yesterday to re-schedule. Even said I had an attitude with him on the phone after I asked him: "Is this Crystal's Nails?". Also scolding me for re-scheduling for the second time. When I asked him if the lady that I requested had a later opening, he just said, "She busy!". I can say I have not experienced that with Crystal's. While it is not your snazzy salon that serves alcohol and has some pretty neat decor, they make up for it with their work. I come here to get my a shellac mani and pedi. I try to come during the week( mid day) because like others said, it is ALWAYS PACKED. Do not bother making appointments because you will end up angry and have to wait regardless. I do not like to get my mani and pedi done at the same time because my nails do not turn out as good, maybe that's just me? They have a great assortment of shellac colors (though I do wish they had more OPI). If you want fake nails, I have seen some GREAT work done here. Pricing is VERY affordable. I have never had issues with parking, as the shopping center has a pretty large parking lot. If you're in the area and you're in need of some fresh paint, check them out! read more

Once I found out the bad news, I started digging around for other nail salons and stumbled upon this one. Although this is a bit of a drive from me, I was SHOOK by the prices and decided to check it out for myself. Initially, I thought it was too good to be true since I've never paid less than $35 (before tip) for a shellac manicure at my old river oaks salon. I made an appointment for 6:15pm on a Tuesday. I arrived at around 6:08 and was promptly seen without any wait. Although the salon is a bit small, they did have a wide variety of colors to choose from. I got a shellac manicure from Kathy and she did an exceptional job. I was really impressed by the quality of work for the price. Definitely a bang for your buck! read more

This is my go to place for shellac/gel manicures and regular manicures/pedicures. Their prices are so affordable and the quality is pretty decent. I've gotten shellac done here by several different manicurists, some are not as talkative as others, but all have been friendly and have done good work! My favorites are Mindy and Pearl! For manicure shellac it's $20 and for a regular pedicure and shellac manicure it's $40. Regular manicure is about $10. They also have lots of gel manicure brands to choose from, which is great! My pedicure lasted at least 3 weeks before the paint started chipping. My shellac nails usually last an average of 2 weeks - depending on how well I take care of my nails. Living out of town, it's hard to find a place that compares to the price and service that Crystal's Nails delivers. The decor isn't at all up to date and there is no certain style/vibe or color theme they are going for. You aren't paying for the ambiance in your prices, which is what I prefer. They offer light beverages - coffee and water, and free wifi! They have two TVs available and plenty of magazines to read. The place can get crowded so try to avoid peak hours! I usually try to go during the weekdays instead of the weekends. I made an appointment one Friday morning and having been opened for at least an hour, it was already starting to get packed.
