Today.... I hope it was just a bad day here. Not polite at all. I ended up leaving not even get shellac nails or pedi as I had planned. Was looking for just a standard grey-was told after looking at 2 bottles with a wave of the hand "that's all we have" and she walked off. Really disappointed considering I am a multiple repeat customer. read more

Came here this past weekend to get my nails done and LUCY did not disappoint! She did an awesome job and designed my nails beautifully. I recommend her if you're looking for someone who can do nail art. Very attentive and detail oriented. She takes her time to make sure it's perfect. I haven't come across another salon that can beat their prices and provide the same value in service. 10/10 would recommend. read more

I've never been 100% pleased with how my nails turn out. Actually, not even 80% pleased. All the other places I've been to have either: cut my cuticles too deep (I always end up bleeding!), didn't shape my nails correctly, didn't put the polish all the way on my nail, didn't do the shellac properly, or charged TOO much for a poor job. I was recommended this place by a friend and I thought, "Why not give it a try?" I came and it was so busy! I've never seen a nail salon this busy before. So I knew that they must be good. I didn't wait long either. I went with a friend and the ladies who did our nails were so thorough. They made sure we got what we wanted. My friend and I both got fake nails using the powder method (not shellac). They double checked the lengths of each nail, made sure the fake nail was not too thick so it would look natural, and they only charged us $35 each! It's been a whole week and I still stop to admire my nails! I will be back here again! 100% satisfied! read more

Judy is my go to nail tech! I go every 3 weeks and they last too. I do gel nails(shellac) and get a different color every time but the brand is always Tammy Taylor. Judy remembers my name and genuinely wants to know how I've been. She treats my nails very gently and removes the shellac without damaging my nail bed. She always makes sure I'm happy with my nails before I leave. If I don't like something she just says okay and fixes it quickly. My nails have never looked better! Pro-tip: always make an appointment and come on time or a bit early! Friday's and Saturday's are crazy so try to come on a weekday. read more

Came in around 5pm on a Friday. It was really busy but they were able to fit me in for a mani and pedi. They have a lot of gel colors to choose from. There were 3 that I really liked, but when I asked they no longer had one of the colors I wanted. Pedicure was dome nicely. Mani was eh. There were some gaps in my nails by my cuticle (looked like my nails were worn in). I asked them to fill in the gaps but they told me that becuase of my cuticles, they couldn't fill it in and that of they did that it wouldn't last? I feel that this should have been my decision. I've been getting my nails done for years and have never heard this excuse. I've always had my entire nail painted. Decent place if you would like to an affordable mani/pedi. Update my nails have started chipping. Half of one nail is also missing. I got my nails done Friday, it is now Tuesday..... read more

This place is just what I need - mani/pedi for the low. I've gone to a number of nail salons and while they vary with size, ambience, customer service and services, you leave with the same outcome. Gel manis for $20 here is a steal. They have SO many colors to choose from and both my nail techs were good at mixing colors to get me the color I was going for. Basic pedis here are $20 - it does the job, your massage comes with a hot stone and it's cheap so no complaints. And they're hygienic - they line their chairs with a plastic bag and use new tools for each customer. As long as my cuticles are done, the paint is within the nail and the color looks good, I'm happy! Definitely recommend calling for an appointment, it can get crazy busy and it's not a big salon. I love coming when it's not too busy, I can get my mani/pedi done at the same time and be out within an hour! read more

I came in because I had fake nails on and I wanted to take them off and do shellac on my regular nails. This was the outcome. Not only did they charge me $40 for this paint job who a 5 yr old could have done better, but they laughed because my nails were short. This is the worst customer service I have EVER received. She didn't even take off the fake nails completely, so I have bumps on my nails that she just painted over. I'll give them one star because another employee was apologizing to me for her co workers' rudeness, but I wish I could give 0. They also don't wear gloves (during a pandemic). This place is TERRIBLE. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I am new to the area and sadly, I'll have to find another salon. I wouldn't have paid but I just wanted to get out of there as soon as I could. read more

Horrible . Even for basic things they can't comprehend to do. Then I heard them give 3 different prices to three different customers , when you ask to see their menu they say they don't have one so they can over charge you for a horrible job. I'm use to paying almost $200 for my nails and go to much better places but was close by and needed them done for a dinner engagement tomorrow! I will NEVER return here ! Un even nails , under was not cleaned , lady tried putting my tip down with acrylic with no glue. Then they tried double charging me for color powder with shellac over it like what? You don't put shellac over cover powder for a basic white tip! read more

Horrible male manager with no sense of how to treat his customers! Never friendly. Didn't even answer the phone with the name of the company when I called yesterday to re-schedule. Even said I had an attitude with him on the phone after I asked him: "Is this Crystal's Nails?". Also scolding me for re-scheduling for the second time. When I asked him if the lady that I requested had a later opening, he just said, "She busy!". I loved the way that young lady did my nails and it's a shame she has to lose my business because of him but because of his actions and the way he talked to me (a customer), I will never step foot in this place again! read more

Amazing salon with good prices and technicians. Ann did a great dip job on my nails and I enjoyed the pedicure too. Salon is waaaaaaaaay too small though. Once you're done with the pedicure you're forced to move immediately so someone else can sit. I typically want to sit for a few mins to let my nails dry and use the chair massage but couldn't. SO SAD that this WAS my favorite nail salon until the older gentleman doing my nails continued to complain every time i asked him to do something small. He was breathing very heavy as if he was agitated. He then began going back and fourth with me and as i stopped he yelled "YOU PEOPLE MY GOD" so i instantly was taking back being that i am African American. I am a young woman and to be yelled at and disrespected from a grown man was beyond sad and unexpected. I will never spend another dollar here and if you are a minority i would advice you not to either. read more

I love Crystal's nails! && no I am not biased bc of the name ;) I have been to SO many nail salons in the loop and one time or another I was not satisfied. I can say I have not experienced that with Crystal's. While it is not your snazzy salon that serves alcohol and has some pretty neat decor, they make up for it with their work. I come here to get my a shellac mani and pedi. I try to come during the week( mid day) because like others said, it is ALWAYS PACKED. Do not bother making appointments because you will end up angry and have to wait regardless. I do not like to get my mani and pedi done at the same time because my nails do not turn out as good, maybe that's just me? They have a great assortment of shellac colors (though I do wish they had more OPI). If you want fake nails, I have seen some GREAT work done here. Pricing is VERY affordable. I have never had issues with parking, as the shopping center has a pretty large parking lot. If you're in the area and you're in need of some fresh paint, check them out! read more

You know what's worse than a heartbreak? When your favorite go-to nail technician decides to move out of the country :( BUT, it's true when they say every cloud has a silver lining. Once I found out the bad news, I started digging around for other nail salons and stumbled upon this one. Although this is a bit of a drive from me, I was SHOOK by the prices and decided to check it out for myself. Initially, I thought it was too good to be true since I've never paid less than $35 (before tip) for a shellac manicure at my old river oaks salon. I made an appointment for 6:15pm on a Tuesday. I arrived at around 6:08 and was promptly seen without any wait. Although the salon is a bit small, they did have a wide variety of colors to choose from. I got a shellac manicure from Kathy and she did an exceptional job. I was really impressed by the quality of work for the price. Definitely a bang for your buck! read more

This is my go to place for shellac/gel manicures and regular manicures/pedicures. Their prices are so affordable and the quality is pretty decent. I've gotten shellac done here by several different manicurists, some are not as talkative as others, but all have been friendly and have done good work! My favorites are Mindy and Pearl! For manicure shellac it's $20 and for a regular pedicure and shellac manicure it's $40. Regular manicure is about $10. They also have lots of gel manicure brands to choose from, which is great! My pedicure lasted at least 3 weeks before the paint started chipping. My shellac nails usually last an average of 2 weeks - depending on how well I take care of my nails. Living out of town, it's hard to find a place that compares to the price and service that Crystal's Nails delivers. The decor isn't at all up to date and there is no certain style/vibe or color theme they are going for. You aren't paying for the ambiance in your prices, which is what I prefer. They offer light beverages - coffee and water, and free wifi! They have two TVs available and plenty of magazines to read. The place can get crowded so try to avoid peak hours! I usually try to go during the weekdays instead of the weekends. I made an appointment one Friday morning and having been opened for at least an hour, it was already starting to get packed. Yogurtland is nearby! And Minuti coffee too! read more

It was 2 pm in the middle of the work week, so they were quick to take me without an appointment. The tech who removed my set was very quick and gentle. I didn't experience a single moment of burn. Tam did my nails, and she was amazing and so sweet. I was going to get dip powder at first, as I wanted something light and natural to help grow my nails out. However, after Tam explained the difference between dip and builder gel, I felt encouraged to give the latter a try. I'm glad I did, because it was exactly what I was looking for. My nails felt light and natural, but durable. Tam wasn't pushy with her recommendations either, and I appreciate being educated on better ways to maintain my nails. Another thing I noticed was how welcoming all of the staff were. They were chatting with customers like they were old friends, asking about the well being of family members and kindly gossiping. It made the atmosphere all the better. I will definitely be back to continue my builder set, as well as try their other services.

This is my favorite place to go get a regular manicure and pedicure. I typically go every Saturday or Sunday. There's usually never a really long wait. I don't have a preferred technician to go to but I think that they're all good. What I like about this place is that it's really, really cheap but they have good quality nail polishes like OPI, Orly, and Essie. This isn't the place for you if you're looking for more of a luxurious experience. This is the place if you really just want your nails done and that's it. read more

Had to try this nail salon because of their name... :) Pretty good service and $20 shellacs. A lot of color choices. Not the fanciest salon but they get the job done and my shellacs from there last 2-3 weeks even when I decide to clean the house right after. Gets very busy during peak hours so try to go earlier in the day if you can. read more

The woman who answered the phone spoke fluent English, which was a great start. The salon is located in the 99 Ranch Market plaza next to 85°C, with plenty of available parking. My first impression was positive since it was quiet, spacious, and staffed by three technicians granted it was a Monday early afternoon. I was promptly greeted, asked to select a nail polish color, and shown to my pedicure chair. While there was some light conversation in the salon, I appreciated that everyone kept their voices down and was respectful of the shared space. In a setting like this, I find the demeanor of both the staff and the customers equally important. My technician spoke limited English, but that wasn't an issue since the receptionist kindly helped translate when needed. The entire experience was efficient; I was in and out in about 45 minutes. The pricing felt reasonable, and I'd be happy to return if I'm in the area again.

This nail salon is very detailed, they do pay attention to the design you want and they try to…read morerecreate that. Very friendly customer service. Very clean and spacious located in heights area. It is extremely important to book correctly, if you want a detailed design you have to book "Nail design" and if you have nail removal you also have to include that when booking. To account for the time you need. If you book incorrectly, the nail tech wouldn't know until next client arrives and then they rush or switch you to another nail tech to finish. Although they are still very kind about it, it is clear you have to book correctly. I came for birthday nails in late April and expected it to be pricey but didn't realize nail asking for a 3-D nail design increase price significantly. Normal French tip charge at Adore is $20, so anything additional like polka dots or another color is added on the $20. Total nail design was $60, gel x short is $70, nail removal $10 = total of $140 for nails alone. Although I realize you are paying for art, for their time, dedication, expertise and their patience to design the nail how you want. It is pricey in my opinion. I would go back but only for solid color or French tip only.

Vivie was my nail tech--if I lived in Houston she would definitely become my go to for service. Vivie is very meticulous and attentive to detail. She was open to the different nail art designs I was debating and let me test a color before settling on my final look. Quality 5/5 The quality is impeccable. I appreciate that the salon operates on appointments only. This creates an atmosphere for the tech and customer to have ample time for the service. Vibe 5/5 The salon is contemporary and clean. The woman at the front desk is welcoming and everyone was kind that I interfaced with. The waiting area is cozy as well. Vivie was an absolute joy to work with and I enjoyed her personality--we had some good laughs! I highly recommend her. Thank you Vivie and Adore Nail Salon. p.s. I found the salon on TikTok and after reading comments and checking out Instagram and the website, I selected this salon.

Milano Nail Spa Review: Inconsistent Experience…read more Milano Nail Spa is excellent for quick service and design execution, offering very short wait times and talented technicians who can flawlessly create complex designs when the right staff member is on duty. However, the overall rating is three stars due to highly inconsistent customer service. The professionalism and friendliness of the nail technicians are hit-or-miss; sometimes they are great, but other times their demeanor can be off-putting. It is uncomfortable when staff members speak their native language in a way that feels exclusive or when requesting simple changes, like a color swap, results in visible frustration or an attitude shift. This unpredictability makes for a mixed experience--fantastic results are often achieved, but the occasional unpleasant interactions prevent this from being a five-star spa.
