This is my second time using party connection and it is only because I had a credit I wanted to use up which is where I will start. I ordered tables and chairs from party connection for my wedding in October. The lady on the phone was super nice and they offered a discount for paying cash so I thought that was cool. I was unsure how many tables to order and she suggested to order enough to seat all my invitees and that I could call a week ahead of time and cancel them when I got my RSVPS back so that's what I did. A week before the wedding I called with my final number and was informed I would have a credit for my next purchase. I was bummed because it was a good chunk of change but got over it. Fast forward to the day before the wedding. I had all my helpers there and ready for the tables at 12 because the tables were supposed to be delivered between 9-12. After calling the store and the girl who sold them to me's cell phone over and over again with no answers they finally called me back at 4 stating that they were loading up and on their way. The venue was only 15 minutes out so I figured an hour max. NOPE. The tables and chairs were finally delivered at 7pm!! Which is hours after my help had left and had arrived during our practice. That is not the worst part. The tables and chairs were an embarrassment to have at my wedding. The chairs were supposed to be white but they were weathered, scratched, and tarnished. A couple were broken and I noticed as they were unloading and gave them back to the guy without even receiving an apology or replacement we were just short chairs at that point. The delivery drivers even seemed embarrassed by what they were delivering!!! What they have is something you would want at your wedding. The tables were just as bad. They were lopsided, and the wood tops were uneven. The table cloths helped cover the ugly but I'm sure the uneven tables were noticeable to our guests. I called to express my experience after the wedding in efforts to at least get my credit in cash and was unsuccessful. Fast forward two months. A family friend passed away and I was elected to put on the reception. I decided to roll the dice and use my credit at the party connection. I figured 13 table cloths wasn't a tall order, especially if I were picking them up. That was a mistake. I picked up my table cloths the morning of the day requested. And then went back to the venue to set up. After arriving at the venue and taking the cloths out of the package I found that they were the wrong shape! I ordered 13 rounds and they gave me banquets! After driving all the way back the girl basically called me a lair saying I ordered banquets. Then calls "the girl who took my order" tells her my last name and asks if I ordered banquets and the girl agrees. Really?!? I know what kind of tables I have thanks! She starts to tell me there's nothing she can do and I did not accept that. This wasn't some holiday party. It was a funeral reception! She finally makes a call and is informed they have extras and she tells me she will have to press them and will call me when they're ready. Already having trust issues with this place I insisted on waiting. I sat there while writing this review and waiting for my table cloths. She dug up some, and started pressing them, she came out a few times offering to bring them to me when she was done, not happening lady I need these on time this time. Then she says I will have 1 table cloth longer than the rest. After 10 minutes we are up to 4 tables cloths of the 13 that are longer than the rest. What a joke. Save yourself the trouble and avoid at all costs!!
