Pre Booking: When we initially chatted, Melissa made me feel super comfortable and she cultivated trust. I had no hesitations and we went ahead and booked her. What stood out was her commitment to her clients and how much she cares about her work. Leading Up to the Wedding: We did a final venue tour about a month out where we went over questions and site details with the venue coordinator. It went really well and Melissa guided us in thinking through final decisions based on her expertise, but did an incredible job at prioritizing our needs and vision. I put together all of our contracts, tablescapes, and details of who would be bringing what to the wedding in a folder for her so there wouldn't be any surprises for her. Day Of Wedding On the day of our wedding, Melissa took care of all of the details which included overseeing set up of both the ceremony and reception areas at our venue, being the contact person for our vendors, and ensuring we stayed on schedule with our photographer and for the wedding. When I arrived to the venue, she asked a few questions to confirm details and then sent me off to finish getting ready. I ended up doing significantly less work than I thought day of thanks to her! She was so incredible to work with and she ensured that we could enjoy our wedding day together and not have to worry about little details. As an event planner myself, I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking at ways to ease stress and enjoy their wedding day! Having Melissa as your Day of Coordinator is worth the investment.

They do serve lunch to 2pm. We were here to have lunch and then take pictures at their lavender farm. Hopping to catch some blooming lavender. Sadly, it was mostly a green garden w not much blooming lavender. There were a few other flowers blooming tho. Upon arrival.... Pros 1) plenty of parking. 2) location was plain but pretty and clean. 3) they had like 4 to 8 tables on the front by the parking area where you walk in. I saw a few people eating there. 4) they had a beautiful wooden table in the back on the grassy area with 6 chairs around it. That's where we sat for lunch. Our reservation was at 12pm. We got seated right away. Today was perfect to eat outside. There is no indoor seating or a restaurant here. I didn't see any. 5) there is a gift shop. But we didn't make it to see the inside 6) they serve salads and sandwiches here for lunch. Very simple and short menu. Their soup of the day today was tomato bisque. 7) our sandwiches and salads tasted fine. But salads are large portions. I could have shared my chicken salad with another. Sandwiches are normal size. Enough for one person. 8) Drinks were ok. Water tasted good. No funky or metal taste to it. 9) two porter potty bathroom but clean. Not the typical blue porter potties at putdoor events. A little nicer and it flushes. 10) our server was very nice. Cons 1) it took a long time to get our meals once we ordered. We were seated at 12pm. But we didn't get our salads and sandwiches till like an hourish later. By the time our foods came out, we sat to catch up and eat, and celebrate a bday, it was like 1:45ish already. Gift shop closes at 2pm. 2) our young server seems like she's still in training. But she was good. Wish they check on their customers more often. But maybe she was the only one taking orders. I don't know. 3) Conclusion This location was nice. Clean. Pretty. There wasn't any lavender blooming when we were there. But I heard it's a hit and miss to catch it in bloom too get beautiful pictures. It's ok though. We found other areas to get nice photos in. Foods were ok. Meh. But salads looked pretty and in large portions. Chicken on the salads were perfectly made. It was juicy and not dry. Each of our plates were $18. There is a small drinks menu. With both their menus being short, it made it so much easier to order something. Love that no one rushed us out after 2pm. We were allow to take our time on the area to take photos. They were setting up for a 4pm wedding. Not to bad here.

I hired Kelly as my Day of Coordinator as well as utilizing Daisy Mae and the Corral Booth…read more Although communication throughout the whole process wasn't the quickest, Kelly did an amazing job on the day before and day of the wedding. Kelly and her team made setting up a breeze. They knew exactly how to maneuver each aspect of the venue. On the day of the wedding, Kelly was truly the biggest help. She was everywhere at once and helping with every step. At one point, I looked at Kelly as I was overwhelmed with the moment and she knew exactly how to get me out of the stressful situation and guide everyone to the next step of the reception. She was by your side the whole time without being overbearing. I couldn't have had a better coordinator. Daisy Mae was such a great choice to add to our barn wedding. Kelly's team of bartenders were ON TOP of it. We had about 150ish people who were drinking for the whole 6 hours. They did a great job at creating our signature drinks and utilizing the alcohol provided. The Corral Booth was great. We added a photo printer to utilize for our guest book. Kelly doesn't typically use this as the pictures are sent digitally, but she added it for us. The printer had trouble keeping up with the amount of pictures taken, but Kelly personally checked on it throughout the night and made sure I received all the printed pictures. I also loved being able to have access to all the pictures that people took throughout the night. Overall, Kelly and her team helped make our wedding everything we wanted. Thank you!

Overall with Covid I had enough to worry about and they made everything a smooth transition and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a rental company for any event. Before that date, we met and emailed a bunch of times just to be sure we were on the same page. Tammy helped me design such a beautiful backdrop for my engagement at my home. It was just absolutely stunning. We received sooo many compliments! I also hired Ajooba for my mehndi and wedding events. She did such a beautiful job both days and completely transformed both venues! I was amazed at how amazing everything looked. She's known to be the best for a reason! She pays so much attention to detail and it really shows in the overall design. I highly recommend Ajooba Events to do all your decorating for any desi or American event. She does it all! With only minimal email/phone communication in the subsequent months to tweak the design, Tammy was able to execute on everything we discussed on the day-of my wedding events. I was extremely satisfied with the outcome, as were my guests! Tammy was punctual, reliable, and creative in her approach to decorating my wedding event spaces. I felt I could depend on her to get the job done efficiently and well, without having to micromanage her. I would recommend her to friends and family without hesitation.

Lina stepped up for us and helped put together a FANTASTIC party. She transformed a businesslike boardroom into a magical place for a ceremony. She provided the tables, chairs, curtains, most of the decorations, and did the floral pieces as well. She coordinated with our vendors and helped make the ceremony and luncheon one that my parents and their guests will remember forever. In addition to all the setup and coordination, she suggested a photo booth that would print out photos right there that all our guests enjoyed. We could not have done it without her and would gladly recommend her to anyone.

Once we eventually got our photos back we could see just how badly she had done. She used fake flowers when we paid for real, used the literal cheapest decor everywhere possible. We were sold a dream and were left with unlit tacky candles, plastic walls, exposed sand bags and BARE minimum decor. Practically everything she did for us was CHEAP and TACKY. She lied to us about having "a team" when it was just her husband and son that evening. When we reached out for a refund she agreed (clearly she knew she didn't do a good job) but when it was time to pay us she ghosted us for a year despite multiple efforts. Stay far away!!!

I just want to say Bernice was absolutely wonderful to work with. She did such a wonderful job executing every part of our wedding. Bernice was always very easy to talk to and listened to what we had in mind for our wedding, as well as, getting to know us as a couple. Immediately we knew that we wanted to work with her as our day of coordinator. Hiring her was the best decision we made for our wedding and put less stress on us. She was always available to answer any and all of our questions, whether it was by email, by phone, or meeting in person. She gave great ideas throughout the wedding planning process and offered her suggestions to make things run smoother. This is actually one of the many things that I really appreciated about working with Bernice. She worked closely with us at drafting our timeline and incorporating the many activities of our day, getting information about our envisioned set-up and design, and helped with our vendors set up the day of. I would highly recommend Bernice to everyone looking for a wedding coordinator.
