Pre Booking: When we initially chatted, Melissa made me feel super comfortable and she cultivated trust. I had no hesitations and we went ahead and booked her. What stood out was her commitment to her clients and how much she cares about her work. Leading Up to the Wedding: We did a final venue tour about a month out where we went over questions and site details with the venue coordinator. It went really well and Melissa guided us in thinking through final decisions based on her expertise, but did an incredible job at prioritizing our needs and vision. I put together all of our contracts, tablescapes, and details of who would be bringing what to the wedding in a folder for her so there wouldn't be any surprises for her. Day Of Wedding On the day of our wedding, Melissa took care of all of the details which included overseeing set up of both the ceremony and reception areas at our venue, being the contact person for our vendors, and ensuring we stayed on schedule with our photographer and for the wedding. When I arrived to the venue, she asked a few questions to confirm details and then sent me off to finish getting ready. I ended up doing significantly less work than I thought day of thanks to her! She was so incredible to work with and she ensured that we could enjoy our wedding day together and not have to worry about little details. Prior to wedding: she asked me detailed questions as to what exactly I was looking for & she told me what her services offered. We did a walk through of the venue to get an idea of where things would go the day of etc. She attended and assisted with rehearsal Day of wedding: she was there from when the first vendor arrived - till coordinating was no longer needed (8pm ish) throughout the day I had no stress because of her she took care of everything I mean everything!!!! We had an open venue and had random stray dogs she went out of her way and walked the dogs all the way to entrance of the venue to ensure they didn't bother guests. Where to even begin, Melissa is heaven sent, an actual Angel! Our wedding was perfect in every aspect thanks to her. After following her Instagram page I would've loved to use inspired events to coordinate and decorate our wedding so I went to their website and scheduled a consultation, melissa emailed me right away to get more information which I thought was great. So skip to the day of the appointment I go to the location on all her platforms (IG, Website, & Yelp) just to find out she moved from there months ago! I called her and she apologized and said we can meet up at a Starbucks or our home trying to be very accommodating and even said she'd give us a discount but my fiancé was not happy about it and didn't want to continue any type of business with her. The question I have is when was she gonna let me know the location of the appointment? Did she even have my consultation appointment ready?
