We held our wedding at Hiddenbrooke Hills. The whole planning process we didn't think we'd want to add on custom draping even though they were so pretty. However we arrived at the venue one day and saw the amazing work that the team did with the sweetheart back drop and just were blown away at how much of a difference it made to the look and feel of the room. Although, we didn't get to interact much with Stephanie and Jimmy throughout the planning process, I was reassured everything would be fine and the draping would turn out as the pictures we were shown by our wedding coordinators. We were referred to this company by our wedding venue, because they do a lot of events for them there. I gave them a call, and one of the owners Stephanie guided me on the process of how to order the floor monogram with our names. I think the other name she called it was a "lobo". Anyway, they were a little pricier than other local businesses, because of the distance they have to drive for their services, which is understandable. But, I chose them, because they have been to the venue many times, so they are fully aware of the setup for that location. I rather pay the extra few bucks for them to travel to the venue, then have my wedding ruined, because another vendor was not able to compensate for what was needed or required. Well, when we made our grand entrance into the reception, we all noticed that the monogram was not in the middle of the floor where it should be, but more off to the side of the dance floor. And, it was much smaller than we thought. We were expecting this beautiful grand sized monogram in he middle of the dancefloor, but we did not get neither one. Maybe during the setup of the table decorations, one of the staff members bumped the projector stand that caused it to go to the side of the dancefloor, instead of the middle, I don't know. Over all, Stephanie was great at communication, and promptly responds to your calls, and messages. read more

We hired Pearlsia Decor for our wedding lighting, sweat heart table decor and photo backdrop back in September. Summary: FUN and EASY to work with, great communication, very responsive (text, phone, email), made my wedding look stellar, offers great value for the price. I can't say enough good things about hiring Pearlsia to do my wedding decorations. We had rented out the Oakland Asian Cultural Center (OACC) for our banquet dinner and had to coordinate with a lot of different vendors (catering, DJ, chairs etc...). Stephanie was really fun and easy to work with which helped alleviate a lot of wedding planning stress. Stephanie has a lot of experience working with the OACC so I would definitely go with her if you are renting that spot. She met with us in person at the OACC for an initial consultation to understand what we wanted and needed. During the consultation, she gave us good advice to consider based off of her experience but was never pushy on her opinion. She always presented ideas as an option but let us make the final decision. For all the decorations we decided to purchase from her, she either brought an actual sample when we met in person or made sure she sent us pictures through email. We had ordered a photo backdrop from her. She showed us some of the past backdrops she did and was able to work with us to incorporate paper cranes into her design. Even though Stephanie showed us samples and pictures of our decorations, when it all came together on the wedding day, we were just blown away at what she did to make the banquet hall come alive. The lighting and the sweetheart table totally transformed the place. The photo backdrop was really beautiful. We had invited Stephanie and Jimmy to decorate a hall for my daughter's Graduation party. We went over all the details with Stephanie over phone, and she was very upfront about what she could do or not do. They came the night before the party, and fixed all the chairs, and then they came back next day to do the rest. They even added some more chairs at our last-minute request.
