I've been following Minal for a while on Instagram and knew she would be the one do to my bridal when the time came! Her work is incredible and you can tell that she loves what she does! Minal did my bridal Mehndi for my wedding in May 2021. She's very efficient and has great response time. I was impressed by how quickly she responded to my initial inquiry emails and sent me the contract and booked me that very same night. She lives in the Central Valley, which was a perfect location for me because my parents live in Modesto and that was an ideal place for me to stay during the wedding week while my henna was on. Minal arrived early to our house and kept me updated on her timing throughout the day. She was very efficient on getting started timely and was a dream to have over at our house. My parents loved having her over and she is very kind and polite and so much fun! Bridal henna takes a few hours to apply but her work was consistent and clean throughout. My bridal henna was one of the most important things for me for my wedding and Minal did an incredible job! Her pricing is great and her work is impeccable. My stain was incredibly dark and I loved the design so much. The stain lasted weeks after the wedding and came off pretty well! I will definitely reach back out to Minal for my future Mehndi needs! read more

Minal is sweet and very talented with henna. Considering this event was during a pandemic, she was flexible and did good work. The henna was darkest the day after the next and lightened up slightly the day of the actual wedding, following aftercare to the t. Also, the design I asked for of the London Eye (which is where he proposed) wasn't done, but I also didn't push for it. I'd recommend coming to her with a clear picture of exactly what you want, so do your research prior to! Also, regardless of what she says ensure your main event is 2 days after initial application. For example, if Wednesday your henna was applied, have the wedding scheduled for Friday. This timing is imperative! read more

Minal did my bridal henna earlier this year and she was wonderful! She responded to my emails quickly and answered all my questions. A week prior we touched based on what time we were meeting and how much time I'd expect to be seated. The day of she arrived accordingly. She did such a lovey job, really artistic and incorporated so of the things I wanted. She gave me breaks and was great to talk to during the Mendhi ceremony even though I was exhausted. Originally I had wanted her to do my family members however she had gone through an accident and recovering from bejnand made me we aware she would only be able to do mines and was nice to provide me a list of 3 others who could be hired hourly. Most henna artists charge $90-$115 per hour or $5-$15 per hand back and front. On average they can do 10-15 people depending on the intricacy of the work. I can only speak on behalf of my experience but I feel the quality and results of her henna speak volumes. I followed her post application instruction and you can see the results on my wedding day! Huge disappointment! She bailed ON THE DAY of the appointment!!!! I was scheduled to have my bridal henna done before leaving for an out of town wedding the next day. A contract was in place and the deposit had been sent more than a month prior. Her work looks great and she has many Instagram followers but please don't be deceived by how uncoordinated/unprofessional she is. She did find a replacement for herself on that day, but she should have at least let me know ahead of time. Not the day of the appointment. Do yourself a favor and look for someone else. read more

Minal did such a beautiful mehendi design for my wedding! I initially had this huge list of things for her to go off of and then as soon as I saw how she was doing my families designs I knew that whole list needed to be thrown away! I loved everything about my design, she did such an incredible job, and the even bigger plus was getting to sit and chat with her all day! Minal is seriously such a sweet talented person, I am so glad I was able to book her to do such an important mehendi design for me! Now enough about how much I loved her, my entire family loved working with her!!! She was so patient with my family, we had so many people that wanted multiple designs and she was patient and smiling the whole time. I booked Minal a little over a year in advance. I knew from the moment that I had seen her work, I wanted her to be my henna artist for my wedding. She was so accommodating especially when it came to my date postponements due to COVID and even though she had another appointment right after mine, she did not rush to her next bride. She took her time with me, she was extremely creative and did more than I expected and I loved it. I spent about 5 hours with her and I literally found my soul sister. She didn't just come in to do mehndi and leave. Instead, she took her time, we talked and listened to music, we got to know each other as friends and not just client to customer. That's what made this experience so amazing. I understand that Minal is pretty high demand, and I appreciate that she didn't rush and just really focused on me in that time. We kept in touch, I sent her numerous messages via email and text stating I am interested and ready to proceed with the pricing and if she could send me the contract or other info to proceed. I had also informed her that I had the deposit ready and if she could send me the info. After two weeks she responded back and said she had booked someone else on my wedding day. It sucked because she told me she was available, had no bookings on that day, and I was the first to contact her for that day. Minal is so so talented and honestly worth every penny! She was punctual and very accommodating! She did my bridal henna and everyone was in awe of her eye for detail and talent! She made my mendhi night memorable and I would recommend her over and over again because not only is she one of the best but she is also such a sweetheart and so easy to get a long with! On top of using her own homemade mendhi (made w the best ingredients) she also provides you w an after care kit, which includes straws (so you don't mess up your mendhi while staying hydrated) a balm (which makes the mendhi darker) gloves to shower with and instructions! Minal was Amazing, she did my bridal henna the night before my wedding and she was sweet enough to stay a little longer and do all of my sisters and other guests henna for my henna night. She was sweet and professional, which I appreciated very much. I also hired her to do my bridal makeup and hair for my wedding day which was the next day. The next day (morning of my wedding) all my family was in aw of my henna and how dark and beautiful it was. I was taken back at how dark it was for not even having it on my hands for a full 24 hours. I removed it after having it on for 6 hours and in the morning it was breathtaking. The saying is that the darker your henna is, the deeper the love your husband has for you.
