I used them several times and always had a good experience. However the last time they came out, I believe it was the son or another worker, I used a credit card and they charged me 17% extra to use the credit card even though he said it would be 3%. Disappointed. You're not supposed to charge extra in CA to use credit card. Other than that I never had any problems. read more

Crystal Plumbing of Lodi replaced our old Orangeburg sewer line with a new one. They pulled the new sewer line through the old Orangeburg and did a fine job. They did a good job on that. They did it in one day plus recall. But, they did not leave our yard the way they found it. They left it very poorly-level. I called them back on that, they did a poor job on the callback. When they dug a hole at both ends of the sewer line to replace the old one, they through the dirt everywhere, in the flower beds and so on, they left me with a lot of work to level. I called Crystal Plumbing on a Saturday because I was having trouble with my hot water. I thought I needed a new hot water heater. Dave walked me through relighting my pilot light on the phone so that I did not have to incur a service fee. He came over on the following Monday to give me a quote on a new heater, but after looking at things he found the problem and did not charge me for the advice. I had three faucets that needed installation (was considering a DIY job) so I asked for a quote to do that and hired his company. I had a leaky toilet supply valve, wanted to replace another older style toilet valve since the other was getting replaced anyways, and an upstairs tub wasn't turning on. Called and Rudy and Bob arrived the same day, just a few hours later, in the timeframe they said they would. They were quick, efficient, and polite. They replaced the valves and said James would be by shortly to continue diagnosing the tub. James and Devon arrived less than an hour later and had the problem solved (dysfunctional diverter valve on the spigot) in less than 10 minutes. They didn't even charge me for the tub. Then had kitchen dual sink with water backing up back and forth. They came out and snaked the front pipe (which no other plumber had done) and fixed the problem. Dave came out and replaced the hot water heater and did some plumbing repairs at my brother's house in Stockton on 8/29/22. I found Crystal Plumbing and scheduled the appointment. He came on time and did a great job from what I was told. But, we've been waiting for over two months for the city permit for the hot water heater and still nothing. It's even on the job invoice that the permit will be pulled. My brother and I have contacted Dave multiple times. I even spoken with Dave and was told he will send the permit. Nothing in my inbox. My wife and I had our propane shutoff by the gas company due to a leak. 09/16/2022 WOW! I found an HONEST plumber. His name is Dave. My hot water take stopped working and I had two different plumbing companies come out and both quoted. THeir quotes were from $1000 to $ 2200. THe price included a brand new water tank, and a list of supplies. I called Home Depot, same story... Installed price via their comapny- Delta Mechanical $ 1980.00- I was in shock. I called CRYSTAL PLUMBING just to see if they could do a same day install. Dave was very freindly and stated that the unit probally only need a new thermal coupler. He was 100% correct... TOTAL COST with install $ 175.00 Needless to say, I was so pleased...finding an honest service provider.. I had used a plumber in Lodi that drives bright red trucks.. they had fixed a leak in a bathroom sink..$400. It took 15 minutes. So, if your looking for an HONEST plumber- give Dave a call. Dave is the man!! I had a small job that included a little bit of dirty work on his end to run a gas line for my dryer. He did that and more. While recessing my water lines in the wall and installing gas he ran a new water line to my fridge. I also noticed that my gas line was sticking out to far out of the wall to fit my dryer and I called dave and he said he would come take care of it as it is no problem. I am the type of person that will continue to use a business mostly off customer service and david goes above and beyond. I believe a handshake means something and your word is your bond. Really happy with the service I received today from Crystal Plumbing! I had a clog in my kitchen drain that was causing water to back up into the sink. I called Crystal Plumbing close to 11am, and someone responded immediately. They came out and fixed the issue within 2 hours. The price was also extremely reasonable ($90) and there was no extra fee for the last minute/rush Saturday visit. Jake & James noticed that my dishwasher was leaking as well, and I appreciated them pointing that out to me. It turned out it was all related to the clog. They were both extremely professional, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Additionally, Jake & James made a special trip to Lowe's for me when I asked him them about two separate ongoing issues I've had with two of the toilets in my house. I really appreciated the extra time they spent fixing the toilets, because that was a last minute 'hey would you mind checking this out, too' question I asked right as they were about to leave.
