I called Superdrain because another plumber had been to my house to unblock a toilet that had backed up. In the process they broke their snake head off in my pipes, said they couldn't get it out and had to get to another appointment leaving me with the problem. I called the company to see if they intended to send someone out to resolve the problem (Local Hero Home Service) but they never answered my calls. After seeing all of the excellent reviews on Yelp for Superdrain, I called them for help. Steve Suarez, and a younger plumber came out to my house; they ran a camera through my pipes to see exactly where the snake was broken off and lodged in my pipes. Steve had to create some kind of gadget out of various things he had on his work van that would snag, and get that snake out of my pipes like a scene from the tv series MacGyver. Quick response off Yelp, had a technician on-site in an hour for my mother's rental property. Thought it was a clogged drain from house to sidewalk, ended up being a Water Main Leak in the middle of the yard. I had an emergency plumbing issue with both toilets at my rental property yesterday. A different company tried to fix issues, but did not have machine needed to "Hydrojet the line" as they called it. Spoke with the owner Al via phone earlier in the day describing our situation with clogged pipes and backing up to all the drains in the house. He was straight forward on services provided, the hourly rate and travel time charge (since we are in Lodi), with an expected ETA of a couple of hours. John called me about 30 minutes before his arrival to confirm the situation and to say he was on the way. John at SuperDrain cleared the clogs in our pipes with a straight forward methodical approach. First, he assessed the problem by actually looking at the piping under the house and then looked at the backed up drains through out the house. Based on the assessment, he got to work with the drain snake in one drain and through clear-out access on the exterior. In less than 90 minutes, he was done - pipes and drains all clear. John has a great attitude and was cracking jokes along the way. Plus a 10% senior discount! Another plumber we had out early in the day (provided by our home warranty provider) couldn't figure it out and wanted to re-architect/replace of our pipes at each of the backed-up drains (at additional out of pocket cost to us). In our experience a lot of plumbers are in upsell mode with unnecessary solutions to resolve a problem rather than using their experience and the tools they have on hand to figure it out. Was referred to superdrain from a friend and very happy we decided to go with them. We had a slab leak. (Keep in mind you have to have a leak detection service come first if this is your case) I spoke with Al. He came out and assessed the work and was able to come back the next day to do the repair. I can't remember the name of the man he brought with him but they were both very nice men. Comfortable to be around. They also do excellent work. They were going to do a re route but we're able to re pipe the existing pipe which made things even easier! I had water useable within an hour and the hot water line fixed within a couple hours after that.
