Stay absolutely clear of this company. They installed a new water heater and charged an outrageous $900 for labor alone. I don't mind paying higher amount but then I do expect quality of work and good customer service . Considering the quality of "service" and the sheer rudeness I experienced, I am certain they are ripping people off. They claimed they tested everything before leaving, but just 20 minutes later, water started leaking from the supply line. The next day, they returned to "fix" the leak with some blue glue. I have attached pictures. I wanted to wait a few hours to ensure the leak was truly resolved this time, but the owner, "Mikey," spoke to me incredibly disrespectfully, saying, "if I am done with my crap he needs the money." Literally this is what was said to me. This experience clearly highlights how money-oriented and completely lacking in customer service these people are. The way they talk to and treat customers is absolutely unacceptable. They have lost my business permanently. My rating with this experience is 1 star. I just gave additional star because on receiving payment they sent me message that they will follow up next week to see if issue is resolved. AccuFlow means skilled work at a great price! We moved to Elk Grove and found the water here a bit harder than we're used to. A local friend suggested a water softener system from Costco, which they paid $8k for...too rich for my blood. Wife said we had to have soft water so now it's my job to figure it out. Bought a water softener system with a whole house filter and under-sink water filter system from Amazon for under $800, off to a good start. Then researched the installation process and determined that I didn't have the chops for it, time to bring in the pros. I requested a quote from 6 different plumbers, mostly with many reviews and excellent ratings. Most quotes came in at twice the price or higher. One quote came in lower but they wanted to cut corners, softening just the hot water in the house. AccuFlow was not the cheapest quote, but was the best quote for the scope of work they committed to. They planned their work so that they didn't interrupt our water supply in the house any more than 30 mins. Mikey and his teammate got the job done in about 4 hours. Other plumbers suggested that I would lose water for as long as 8 hours. Mikey also called the water softener company and programmed my water softener system, something I did not expect as it was not part of the scope of work. I can't imagine that the plumbers at twice the price would do a better job, in the same time period. Mikey stands by his work, to be free of leaks. Everything looks great. Could not be happier. Friday morning 3 trips to Ace Hardware 3 toilet plungers 1 blister on my palm from the wood handle of the plunger Now the shower was backing up. Thinking, I shouldn't wait for the weekend and a possible extra charge. Finally I give in and google Plummer close to me. I can not give Accuflow anything above a 2. The employees are polite and hard working, but at the end of the day, you also need knowledge and trouble shooting. We called for a clogged kitchen sink, and they showed up on the same day in a timely manner. They got to work and kept at it for about 2 hours. At the 1 and a half mark, they seemed like they were sure they got the job done. They ended up letting us know to keep running hot water down the drain and do some dish soap to help clean the pipes. It seemed like the clog was fixed, but in reality, the clog was just overflowing out of the washer drain out in the garage. So 260 bucks later still have a clogged sink, and we can't use our washer without overflowing into the sink and spilling onto the garage floor. Can't give credit when the job wasn't done. read more

We had a water hammer problem that was making us crazy. The pipes were making a knocking sound all the time--even when we weren't running any water. Called several plumbers and got recordings to leave a message. Called Accuflow after a friend recommended them and...holy cow!... a real person picked up! Not only that, but it was the owner, Mike! Explained our problem and arranged for a service call the next morning (I could have insisted on a same day call, but I knew from calling around -- the day after a historic cyclone bomb the flooded homes everywhere -- that plumbers were slammed). Two guys came the next morning after calling ahead. They isolated what they believed was the problem --a faulty valve controlling water to and from my water heater--and called Mike to talk it over. Mike then called me and was honest. Said he wasn't sure replacing the valve would fix my problem, since he had never known a bad valve to cause water hammer. I appreciated his underpromising, but since removing the valve stopped the knocking, I was comfortable going ahead with the repair. And it worked. The cost for the repair (which included making a plumbing parts warehouse run 30 minutes away to get a quality valve) was just $235. The piece of mind is priceless. With these chilly temperatures, hot water was a must-have! They were the lowest estimate/quote by far, and even were able to come out the same day (Dec 27th), service area covered us in Northeast Elk Grove though they're based in Acampo. When their estimated time of arrival was later (closer to 3pm rather than between 2:00-2:30pm), they relayed that via text message. The price included removal of old water heater, cost of new one, installation of the new one (up to code). Let's be honest, we all dread calling service companies for help. I noticed my water heater was leaking so I called a friend who is a reputable plumber, but not in this area. He gave me a few tips and pointers, and a recommendation on a brand name water heater. He also told me how much his rate was to replace a water heater, parts labor and tax. So I started calling around with a brand of water heater in mind and an approximate cost that was fair. I finally called Mike at AccuFlow and he answered my call quickly, addressed all my questions, and gave me a rate over the phone. I got a good feeling from these guys so I booked them. His son Mikey did the install. He was right on time, communicated well before the appointment about an arrival time, and was done in a timely manner, about 1.5 hours. Come on, if I did it, I would still have no hot water. Fast forward a few weeks. Water heater takes a dump. Mikey stopped by first thing the next morning (I called them at 8pm the night before). He looked at it, came up with the same solution that I thought, gave me some tips and he took off. Couple days later, no hot water. He called me on the phone and we walked through some steps that I could try. No luck, heater was dead. He stopped by today and replaced the parts he felt would have been bad from the factory, and now we have hot water. So when I received the initial price to install a water heater, I thought it was high, but he was right in line with all other quotes and the price my buddy gave me previously. When I called with a problem, they addressed it right away. Today, he showed me the receipt for the replacement parts (Almost $500.00 on a new heater) and said this will be covered by the MFG. He has made three trips to my house, 1 to install, 2 for troubleshooting and replacing parts. All of a sudden, I see good value in customer service and having a Pro do the job. Do I recommend these guys? YES. Water Heater failure was not due to the installation, but a bad part. How do I know? Because I watched them do the install. Very satisfied customer.
