Came in on Labor Day after searching for a salon that was open. I called and asked if they had time for 2 pedicures and the person on the phone said they did and to come in. I waited at least an hour and when we sat down in the pedicure chairs we still waited even longer. My nail color did not look like the one I selected and they also look sloppy. My mom's french tips were way too pink. We also did not see the tools being disinfected, instead the tools were being used from one person to another... overall not a relaxing experience at all. I chose the $50 pedicure for my mom and they charged her $70 ($15 gel and $5 French tip) but the other lady said it was $70 because it was $20 for gel? It ended up being $120 for two pedicures. I've been coming to this shop for a Long time and since one of the best nail techs left thighs just have gotten worse and worse. My pedicures don't last my toenails break every time only on the big toe where there's acrylic put to keep them from breaking and my nails just keep getting worse. Uneven the polish gets lumpy and for some reason today the lady acted like she didn't see what I was looking at with a whole side of my nail missing acrylic. I asked multiple time for her to at the very least even it out and she made it worse. I waited for an hour and a half bc there's only one lady who does actual nails today and she still charged me almost full price for this fill in which every nail except one had lifted in all sides from the previous set I had put on in this nail shop. This place uses MMA acrylic. Which is an illegal product! It's a cheap product probably why this place uses it because they don't care about the health of your nails, they just want your $$$. MMA is an acrylic product that's ILLEGAL when being used on the nails, it can cause permanent loss and damage of the natural nail, as well as numbness in the fingers. After prolonged usage, this dangerous chemical deemed poisonous by the FDA can cause miscarriages, lesions on the kidneys, liver problems, and respiratory problems. I had an event to go to so I had to remove my nails at home, it took me almost 2 hours! And my natural nails are so weak and fragile. If I touch something with my nail too hard it bends and hurts. This place was recommended to me by a friend. Because of the pandemic, I haven't been to the nail shop in over a year and was excited for my first time Back in a public place. Today's experience was different. Very rushed. Both by full set nail lady and pedicurist. No hand massage, no lotion for full set apparently. Full set lady left air bubbles in my nails. She was having a phone conversation and wasn't paying attention. I wanted gel French tips, so she gave me white acrylics. Her only job was to shape it and seal it with the gel sealant. I had an appointment for full set and pedicure. When the lady who did my full set finished, she gave me my price. I asked if I could pay for my full set and pedicure after my pedicure and she was shocked. Like she didn't know I was getting a pedicure. When calling to set my appointment I told her I wanted a full set and pedicure and asked if they had time today and if they were accepting appointments at the time. she said yes and repeated "my order." Told her I'm a few cities away and gave her estimated time of arrival. I arrived 15 minutes early and waited patiently when they were not ready for me. Walked over to the pedi chair, Moaning and grunting, Speaking in her language and the other girls grunted with her. Weird. The lady who did my toe nails skipped toes when cutting cuticles. She tapped my last toe with the nail filer after filing the other toes- just to show me she saw my toe? I never made a comment to them, didn't say anything. Was polite and even thanked her for my full set. Just commenting my experience. Wasnt rude to them, and they weren't rude to me. Just felt rushed. If I didn't have a trip go to, I probably Would've just left after my full set when I heard the grunting. AND especially AFTER the lady who did my full set noticed her mistakes in my nails. I never pointed it out. I didn't say anything, she noticed it herself and tried to correct it but it was already too late. Once again, not making a complaint, just sharing my experience as a passive client. *note- tip for business owners. Pride yourself in your work. When you finished a pedicure or a full set or regular manicure, look down at your work and see if you're happy with your result. As a client, we are literally Walking advertisements for your company. When people see our nails, they ask "omg, that's so nice where did you get test done at?" Clients literally tell other people and "put you on" For more business. If they see crappy nails, they ask too, so they know not to go there. I was still polite, I also left them a tip because of their hard work nonetheless. Pre covid I use to come here and get pedicures and nails done and always had a decent experience. Fast forward 2 years later I showed up to get a pedicure and saw a ton of new faces. One of which did my pedicure and I wish I got her name. My experience was awful and my observation of the way the staff treats customers made my stomach turn. You can tell who they like and who they are judging right off the bat by their actions. But that is my observation...let me share my experience now. I walk in and they tell me it's a 1 hour wait. No problem, I leave and return within 45min. They completely ignore me when I return for about 5 minutes and finally acknowledge me and ask me to sit in any chair at the far end. I choose my color, sit down, and a girl I have never seen comes with the price sheet. Because I had to leave within the 2 hours I chose basic pedicure to ensure I was not late picking up my kids. She wraps the tub, tells me to put my feet in and puts scorching hot water on me. I tell her, she fixes the issue with an attitude and starts the pedicure process like she's in a race against a cheetah. Fast forward my pedicure took her 10 whole minutes, she never talked to me once, she was one of the loudest manicurists in there speaking their native tongue the ENTIRE time and she not once ( till I said something) came back to check and ensure my toes were dry. A basic pedicure should last a minimum of 30 min and up to 45 min. I paid $25 for a 10 min crappy pedicure. She gave me ZERO opportunity to speak and I had the worst experience ever. I have been getting pedicures for 30 years and have never been this disappointed to want to write a damn review! Oh and one more thing. I had a card from pre covid that had NO EXPIRATION on it and had 2 stamps. When I showed her and asked her for a stamp she said they no longer accept the one I HAVE because they updated the card then spoke her native tongue immediately after and her coworker looked at me and they laughed! If that's not some BS I don't know what is. I have never been anywhere that did not honor cards they've issued themselves. These people are not worth the cheaper prices they offer in the area. Quality over quantity all day. I would spend more for customer service and cleanliness because the way she behaved she showed zero care for cleanliness. Trang has always been my go to at crystal nails since they opened up from the pandemic. Nails lasts 4 weeks if you handle things correctly without bending or hitting them. Always fair on price and she will always do a good job on shaping and cleaning up any mistakes. Got an incredible French manicure here. It lasted and it was beautifully done. However the first girl who started my manicure was awful -- she cut my finger and I gave a loud yelp so a senior manicurist who calls herself Susan stepped in and finished the job. Praise goes to Susan. Just $13 for a French manicure? I'll be back AND ASK FOR SUSAN. They have free wifi but if your fingers are immobilized ... then ?? This is my first time ever doing a gel manicure after a long time doing acrylics. I remembered I wanted to get the color white from their selection, and they told me they don't have it. Until they found another white nail polish. I am not sure what exactly happened. I got white nail polish and after a couple of hours, my nails began to turn BROWN! It is not me. I wash my hands, nothing was on my nails at all. I remember getting a white gel pedicure and it did not do this AT ALL. Just horrible. read more

I called ahead for an appointment with someone who KNOWS HOW TO DO DESIGNS. When I get there I check again with the woman if she knows how to do designs and show her the style I want. She says she can do it. So she starts and everything is fine until she grabs the polish. It's like glue. You can tell it was old and they don't clean the bottles. She starts on the pinky and it looked fine, might I also add that after applying the acrylic she didn't coat it to a more neutral color, I will explain more on why this is important later. So anyway, she continues with the design and once she's finished I saw what she did, was I happy no. Did I feel it would be fine until I get back from my trip, sure. So back to the no polish over the acrylic, well if you don't put polish over acrylic it will change colors and have an orange tint. I also noticed it was clumpy, and the overall nail was TOO THICK. So I go back tell her my complaints and this woman had the AUDACITY to charge me TWENTY dollars to fix her crappy nail job. Do NOT go here. Trang cut me while she was sanding down my cuticles, so bad that I started to bleed. I gave her the benefit of the doubt because she was trying to get to other customers and I knew it was an accident... but then she rushed me out so bad that my have of my nails weren't under UV light and that made my nails lumpy. Then I came in a couple weeks later to get them removed. Just remove everything and clean up nails. They tried sending my home with acrylic and powder still on. I kept showing them that they didn't remove it all, but they insisted it was. I haven't written in yelp in years. I am only just reactivating it to write this review. I was a walk-in. They told me it would be a 20-minute wait. It was actually a bit faster. Two hours later. I got passed around -- different people doing different things. They used gel polish for a regular mani. There were bubbles in my polish. I asked for them to redo one finger cause it was too lumpy. She told me my nail was lumpy. No but it's not and I never had this problem in my 15 years of mani pedi. They forgot to complete the polish. No top coat on one of my toes with all the chaos. They should have never took me in if they were too busy and overbooked. They are still telling walk-ins 20-min but they don't have the bandwidth. Incredibly disappointed by their customer service, paint job, and nail polish quality. A mark of a good nail salon is their ability to do a basic manicure and they could not. Update: returned the next day cause I couldn't accept having paid full price for such a terrible job. The manager re-painted my polish, she told me that my previous gel was still on it and that's why it appeared lumpy. They ended up filing so much, my nails were thin and could bend backwards. I came here this afternoon for a pedicure. I ended up getting a Renewal Callus Therapy Deluxe pedicure (because I needed it). This pedicure included a scrub, oil a massage and hot oil treatment. Kathy did an excellent job. My feet feel so much better and look wonderful. She did a beautiful job massaging my feet as well. I highly recommend this place. She was friendly and very professional. My pedicure only took 35 mins and I was able to get a parking space outside at the curb. The place is very quiet and very clean. They have several different types of services on their list of services to fit any budget. There is regular and gel nail polish for your nails as well as powder polish available. This place is conveniently located downtown and is accessible by car or public transit. Best to come early in the morning or early in the afternoon before the elementary and high school let out to avoid traffic. I cannot wait to come here again and get my feet done again. read more

DO NOT COME HERE!! They are not practicing social distancing they take in whoever walks in and ignores people who've made a appointment and makes them wait at least 30mins to a hour. Staff wears masks but the amount of people in the salon at one time is not safe. Staff does not sanitize chairs after clients only cleans the pedicure tub. I was not happy coming here at all. Upon arrival I was not greeted and waited about 15 minutes before someone asked me what service I needed. I was coming in for just a pedicure and I would have walked out but I was heading out of town and didn't want to wait at another salon. My water was cold and when the lady started cutting my cuticles down- I explained to her that it hurt on one of the toes- she was very rough and insensitive. Instead of apologizing and saying sorry and stopping - her response was "I know just relax". I prefer to do own feet at home anyways, but after this experience I will certainly be returning to doing that. I can't even express how grateful I am right now. I have been in desperate need for a pedicure and like most of us were scared to try a new place. My feet aching from work I needed one ASAP! I decided after looking at places practically all day I decided to try this spot since it was open by the time I was off and it was close by! I cannot tell you enough how nice they were and welcomed me in just 20 mins to closing time. I worry about my hang nails a lot because many places will do it incorrectly or make you bleed. But Trang did my pedicure and did such an amazing job! She got my hang nails out without much pain she knows what's she's doing. Super sweet and actually took her time doing the pedicure.
