I cannot say enough good things about everything we had here. The indoor atmosphere was lovely. We started with some drinks & apps in the bar area. We had Buffalo tenders and a almost like a pub cheese dip with artisanal crackers. Their happy hour menu isn't online so I l don't remember exactly. The drinks were very good! This is one of those places where you definitely have to go in with an open mind. However, if you're like my brother in law and only like plain Jane not out of the box food, they do have a double burger which he said was very good. Going to throw some photos below of my meal! Everything he recommended was great and I will definitely come back and ask for Kenny. Had two Bacon infused Old Fashions, not on the menu appetizer - Bacon-wrapped dates, Filet with Thai slaw and buttermilk mashed potatoes, and though I should not have - Brussel Sprouts with bacon and candied pecons with Maple Miso. The passion at Crush Eleven blows me away I just don't get up the coast to Cocoa Beach often enough. Because I really need to stop in and see Stu at Crush Eleven on a more frequent rotation. Lisa and I were meeting good friends for dinner so we pulled in early to sit at that crazy little bar where Stu makes this Roasted Serrano and Blackberry Margarita. But don't stop at the margarita as Stu has this 10 mini mason jar lineup of crazy ingredients sitting front and center on the bar. If you have the pleasure of sitting there and watching Stu work.....well you will be going back. Often. This whole place blows me away. There is an air of love and passion in the drink, in the food, in the service. Everywhere. I wish I could have enjoyed another cocktail but we had to drive to Orlando after dinner so it is fortunate you can step back and find a high quality wine by the glass. The glass sparkled and I know why as I sat at the bar and watched Stu hand polish each one. It's in the air, everyone cares greatly about what they are doing. Passion. Each and every thing I order at Crush Eleven has always been awesome and tonight was no exception. The blue crab salad special appetizer was one of the most memorable dishes I have had anywhere. A kick of heat, the sweetness of the crab, the freshness of the greens, the crunch of a nut. It's passion you can taste and you wish they would throw it on the regular menu so you could come back soon and enjoy again. But then it would not allow for the continual creativity that roars out of this kitchen. The specials each evening should not be overlooked so pay attention as your server describes the preparations. Just look at the picture I took of my special fish that evening. Check out the plating, check out the presentation, check out the quality. Soak in the passion. I was in town for business & heard about this place from some locals so I decided to host a dinner meeting in their private dining room. The servers were attentive to my needs, offered great suggestions & were as quit as they could be as the speaker was presenting. Then there's the food! Holy smokes! It was all delicious from the Corn & white shrimp soup, to the arugula salad. Then the main dishes arrived. The presentation was superb, but the taste was even better. I had the spicy flat iron steak...yummy! Some guests had the pork chop while others had the Mahi. The room was silent over dinner which is always a good sign they are enjoying the meal. The dessert was a caramel & cocoa flan that melted in your mouth! Everyone complented the food & their experience at Crush XI. My husband and I ate there last night. We are from out of town visiting for a month and so glad we randomly strolled into this place. We chose to sit outside but the inside ambiance was very cool and they have a nice sized bar. Our server was Kenny, he provided great service throughout, had good suggestions, did not rush things, and was very friendly. We had a fig/goat cheese/bacon appetizer that was delicious. I had a smoked mezcal old fashioned, which was a specialty drink for the night and I figured I would try simply because it sounded cool. It was so good! For our meals we had the duck fettuccine and siracha flat iron, both were delicious. My husband said is was the best meal he has had so far down here. The reason is because it's easy to pick apart horrid food. It's very hard to emphasize the most amazing food that exists. Well, my task this week has been to grapple with the words to tell you how awesome Crush XI is in the food department. There are very few restaurants that hit on all cylinders from the moment you walk in the door. Crush XI is one of those establishments and they earn the number 2 spot on the Best Restaurants in Brevard County list. You walk into this dynamic place that has perfect lighting with tables situated perfectly. Ambiance is stellar. Service was prompt, attentive and on point. I started with the house Sazerac. This is a rare drink to find in Brevard County. Not only is it spot on but they Crush it outta the park. Instead of ordering an entree I decided to go tapas style and ordered all of the bites. We started with Brie that was cooked properly and flavorful. I took a taste of the Spanish cheese. It was creamy with a tang on the tongue. Great zing. The buffalo style sweetbreads were spot on. Tender morsels of gland that literally sang a song in my mouth. The charred blue brussels were cooked with kielbasa cippolinis and obviously blue cheese. The layering of flavors in this dish were complex and delightful. We also ordered the Street Corn. This offering was the hero of the night. It is cooked with cilantro and cotija cheese. It is finished with paprika that literally blows you out of your seat. The only dish that was not perfect were the Duck Fat Fries. I am not sure if it was just me but I did not care for the preparation. That said, this restaurant is 5-Star all the way. If you don't try this Big Boy says you are making a huge mistake. read more

We shared the goat cheese & dates app, Mac and cheese, and steak dinner. Absolutely delicious. So many flavors in every bite! We had carrot cake ice cream with an oatmeal cookie on top for dessert. I previously provided review for Crush XI last year at its former Cocoa location. That review was a 2-star review. The restaurant picked up stakes and moved to downtown Melbourne, and has improved more than just its location. The bar is now prominent and greets you as soon as you walk through the door. It is welcoming, so if you have reservations, get there early so you can start with a premeal drink. Their wine and liquor selection is extensive, where you can find the right compliment to anything on the menu. Once seated, the fare on the menu is inviting and diverse. Went with friends who shared their appetizers and steak. I selected the fresh catch and was happy with the choice. Well prepared and delicious. Dusted off my own plate, then helped my wife finish her duck entree. Overall, clean, delicious and everyone left full and satisfied. Kudos to the new C XI. read more

First time visiting crush. Went for happy hour experience. It was ok. We sat outside and weather was unexpectedly windy and slightly cool. Food good however the smoke salmon with the rice cake was a bit on the salty side. Didn't like the drink I order, can't remember which one it was. I would suggest you go and check it out. Food- 5 stars Atmosphere- 5 stars Service- 5 stars Presentation- 5 stars Hubby and I wanted to try as much as we could on our first visit, so we opted for a ton of small dishes. We had duck fat fries, crab stuffed peppers, cheese plate (which had this amazing fig concoction), pierogies, and mac n cheese. The people in that kitchen must be made up of the most creative chefs in the southern hemisphere. The pairings on the dishes seemed out of this world to me, but it all worked! Everything tasted fresh and never frozen. Their menu may seem limited, but that works great for them. It clearly has given them the opportunity to perfect everything on it. I'm a pescatarian and the hubby is not the most adventurous eater, but this place really got him to step out of his bubble. Wait.... did I mention the cocktails? Not feeling adventurous with the food? Go just for the cocktails! You won't be disappointed. They've put as much thought into their drink menu as they did with the food. Went to Crush for a friends birthday dinner, May 19. Read most reviews and looked at the menu, so I wasn't surprised when I got there. The location and building are nice, unfortunately the bare brick walls, high ceilings make for a loud experience. Which I read in many reviews. Fortunately the group of 12-14 friends attending have loud personalities, so we felt comfortable. However, the 3 other tables in our area moved or were annoyed with the volume. As for the food, it's a over priced. But everyone seemed to enjoy it. I ordered the Mac-n-Cheese for starter, and simply asked the waiter if it was made with any Truffle oil (as I have had before and did not like it), the waiter replied rudely "it's not Kraft". A simple no would have sufficed. Then another guest ordered a steak med rare, but it came med well. When she asked for it to be corrected, he pointed out that just that piece was well, maybe she should eat from the other side. Jason was our waiter, and he mostly gave good service, but i think he was annoyed that we were not paying attention to him or he felt we were not worthy of eating in his restaurant. Maybe he should wait on smaller quieter tables. Overall, don't go if u want a quiet intimate dinner or conversation. read more

We started with the oysters and champagne for their Monday night special, don't miss this . For our second course we had the salad lyonnaise , green bean fries, and the pierogies, all outstanding ! For our mains we got the duck breast, and the chicken dish . I try not to order chicken when I go out , but this is something I don't know if I could create at home , very flavorful ! We started with the house made pop tart - the goat cheese "icing" was an unexpected and delicious touch and balanced the sweetness of the fig paste. The crab tamale was insane. We couldn't get enough of the smoked corn sauce! I ordered the fresh catch, a beautiful presentation and creative combination of fish, boniato, plantain and spice. I wanted to love Crush Eleven, but it fell flat for me. I'm new to the area, so was hoping this would be my high end go-to. I recently moved from Los Angeles and am therefore, familiar with paying a pretty penny for REALLY good, creative food. Crush Eleven is expensive, but we found the food to be over done. The halibut (catch of the day) was over seasoned to the point where we couldn't really taste the fish. The salad was swamped with dressing and the "street corn" was way to creamy/cheesy. What an awesome new restaurant in downtown Melbourne. I love the eclectic decor and mixed tables and chairs. Every morsel I ate was amazing. This compares to the Denver foodie scene that we moved from about a year ago. We had the Medjool dates and focaccia bread to start. The dates were fantastic. We had the Sriracha Marinated flat iron steak, the Brussel sprouts and street corn for dinner. Those sides were yummy. Such attention to details for sides. The lunch menu was filled with interesting items such as the Duck confit tacos. the tacos were very tasty but the preparation was off the mark, I expected the duck to be shredded, and the cilantro to be picked off the stem. When I bit into the taco the duck meat slid out along with stalks of cilantro, messy and a bit embarrassing. all in all the food was good. It was girl's night out - 7 of us! We must have sampled one of everything on the menu! The highlights were the Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Dates, the Lyonnaise Salad, the Catch of the Day (Mahi), and the Brussel Sprouts. Of course, made all the better with a Serrano Margarita!
