I was in town for business and decided to eat here. The bar was full and they offered to seat me upstairs. I just wanted a quiet place to sit down, eat and go back to my hotel. I sat in the dining area and the music was pounding and pounding upstairs. The dining area was large and nice. My waitress was very nice and took well care of me. I had their Caesar salad which was pretty good. I also had their pancetta with bucatini. It did not taste like pancetta but the pasta was pretty good. I loved the mushrooms. I'm so happy I finally got to experience this establishment. I wish the rooftop was open though, so I'll have to go back one of these days. We started out with the cheese curds, they were the best curds I've ever curded. The price is a little steep for the amount you get, but would I order them again... YES. My boyfriend got the steak tacos, they were amazing! We were both so surprised by the flavors and textures. I was disappointed in the tuna steak. It had zero flavor and was over cooked. The best part of that meal was the salad it was on. The mushroom risotto was so beautifully cheesy and totally worth the price. read more

If you want wine or cocktails this is a descent place. The food not so much. Crab cakes are not cakes they are small balls with no flavor! Crab Balls were supposed to come with Asian slaw. It is my opinion that throwing some apples on salad is not an Asian slaw! Food was disappointing . One last thing, only one bartender working & he was also waiting tables on the patio. So service was bad & had to wait for him to come by to get more drinks. It was if management didn't want to hire enough help for a busy downtown eatery. Fun location in Amarillo! Stopped in for some dinner while on a business trip. Selection was good and had a hard time choosing but settled on the chicken parmesan. We stopped by based on the reviews and the food was awful - plain and simple! We can't even comprehend how they are getting praise and how they have positive reviews on Yelp just amazes us. We don't even know what was going on with the plates of food but the taste was all over the place. The chicken was easily from lunch and old and DRY, the corn tortillas taste like buttered cardboard and the seared tuna was not seared and bland (quality was cheap) and everything was blah and all over the place in taste. Honestly, worst food and for $15-29+ plates - will never come there again nor recommend. Ever. We are foodies and by all means after visiting hundreds of places over the past 5 years, this establishment takes place of one of the worst. Save your money and go elsewhere. There is soooo many other places we have visited in Amarillo that are awesome in food and drinks! Nothing against service, it's 100% the food quality. read more

I had an excellent dinner at Crush! I was seated with a friend out on the front patio and our waiter Ashton was incredibly attentive and helpful, making recommendations for entrées beer selections and even put together a custom built dessert! We appreciated the wine variety of choices at the restaurant from steaks to seafood to salads and killer appetizers so we were able to dial-in exactly what sounded good. Food was exceptionally well prepared and served quickly to her table with care. Great choice for downtown. Enjoy! read more

I did not get my drinks with my delivery order. When I called the restaurant, the manager said he could not do anything about it because it was a Grub Hub delivery. I don't understand why this restaurant works with Grub Hub if they are not going to take responsibility for their mistakes. I don't need to hear excuses about how their system does not communicate with Grub Hub. I am very disappointed with their service. read more

I ordered a salad for my father when my parents and I stopped into town on our road trip. He chose the peach salad to which he asked them to add bacon and avocado. We drove to the restaurant to pick up the mobile order, and pickup was simple enough. The place was conveniently located about 10 minutes from our hotel. When we got back to our hotel and my dad sat down to enjoy his salad, he found that it looked nothing like it does on the picture for their website, but a lot less appetizing. He also didn't get flatware. The place looks wonderful on the outside as well as on the inside. It just didn't live up to our expectations after seeing such awesome photos. I'd give it another shot in the future just to see if they've worked out the kinks. My dad says the salad was "okay", as there were bacon BITS atop the salad as opposed to cut bacon strips. read more

We got there quite late, it was our second option, but we were so glad to be there, we had vegan burger with jalapeños and avocado, so yummy! We had some side orders of fries for the little girls and they loved it! And finally, last but no least I cheated that day with some Mac and cheese and tuna tartar, wow! Fantastic! I'm going to preface this by saying that I hate leaving bad reviews. I'm not negative and I can overlook almost anything, bad service, ugly decor, boring food. I came here January 10th, 2019 while on a road trip across the country and ordered the salmon and risotto. It gave me horrible food poisoning, so bad I had to go to urgent care. Judging by the reviews, this isn't the norm, but I wanted people to know that it happened. I loved my server and the place is beautiful, but as far as I'm concerned food poisoning is an automatic 1 star with no room for improvement. I hope this hasn't happened before and I hope it never happens again. Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. read more

I've been to Crush several times during business trips to Amarillo. This was my first visit since they relocated to a larger, more upscale location. The menu seemed expanded and a little more high end. I had a really unusual salad containing a "fried, soft boiled egg" and some avocado, and it was nicely prepared. Following that, I got a huge NY strip steak. It was pretty good, with some good sides. The dessert was also not half bad. The server was knowledgeable and pleasant, but service was spotty to slow. We sat outside where it was more quiet than inside. There was a band playing outside on the roof and it was perfect. We could hear them but it wasn't too loud! They have amazing drinks... if they let you in. This has happened to us several times. Hours posted on the door and website are 10pm and 11pm on Saturday. We were there 30 min before closing on a Weekday and weekend....doors locked both times. I guess no espresso martini for us. read more
