But, my real motivation for writing this review is to compliment our waitress, Sophie. In my experience it's not easy to strike the right note when serving dinner to strangers. Sophie's work was just right; she listened to our requests, making eye contact with us both, and visiting our table at intervals that were attentive without being intrusive. The kitchen prepared appealing plates and Sophie delivered them while they were hot. Best of all, she chatted with us, shared a little if herself and listened when we reciprocated.
