There were about a dozen workers in the store, and my order was ready right on time.

I was in the mood for some cookies today and decided to order some Crumbl cookies through their app to the brand new bayshore/north shore location. The app was super simple to use and I could select a time for pickup; I chose 6:40pm. I parked at the lot in front of Kohls which was very easy, walked in and was literally greeted by smiling workers who opened the door for me. I'm not sure if this will happen after they settle in after their recent opening, but it was very nice. I could get used to that service! I pressed the "I'm here" button in the app once I was inside and after less than a minute a worker announced my order was ready. He even opened the box to show me the cookies - they were much larger than expected, and quite shockingly looked exactly like the perfect looking cookies on the app. That is true advertising, they really do look that good in real life. I was honestly not expecting them to be so large. I put them in my trunk and drove home, and they were still warm when I arrived. Honestly these are some fantastic, very fancy and quite expensive cookies. The six I bought was almost $20. BUT! I way over ordered. I should have gotten two - six is more than enough for a 4-person family dessert. You will not be able to eat more than two in a sitting. They really are worth the price. Definitely stop by this place and try it out, I am so excited to have some competition with insomnia. For my money, I would definitely come here over the competition.

Crumbl Cookies Blue Monster: I've seen Crumbl all over social media this past year and until my first visit back in August I did not understand the hype. I think cookies are alright, but there are other desserts that are far superior in my opinion. Crumbl rotates their flavors on a weekly basis but depending on the flavor some are absolutely amazing (still over-priced though). Lucky for me, one of the hospital units I cover happened to be indulging in Crumbl and I was lucky enough to get a piece of the "Blue Monster" to try. Crumbl's official description is that this is a brown sugar, semi-sweet chocolate chip cookie covered in a creamy blue vanilla flavored frosting decorated with CHIPS AHOHY! pieces. The only thing scary about the Blue Monster is how addicting it is. That blue frosting is incredibly thick, creamy, and obviously sweet. I found the cookie itself had a buttery flavor and hints of chocolate from the chips. It was slightly crunchy at the periphery and soft and chewy (yay!) towards the middle. Speaking of middle, this cookie was thick. My only complaint is that as good as it was, $5 is pricey for a cookie. As delicious as this monstrously sweet cookie was I still like their caramel popcorn cookie slightly better (Crumbl's cream cheese frosting is hard to compete with, plus it had liquid caramel). Doughboy approved My Crumbl Cookie Rankings 1. Caramel Popcorn 2. Blue Monster 3. Peanut Butter Nougat *These are the only three I've tried to date Doughboy_Food_Reviews

I've never been to any Crumbl, but it was good. The cookies are huge. The staff was very friendly and quick. We got a 4-pack for $14. Our cookies were not warm, which I expected. I also thought the chocolate chips they used were a little sweet. Overall they were good but nothing too special.

Have been looking forward to trying Crumbl Cookies for awhile now and it fell slightly below expectations. Fun idea to try at least once but I probably won't frequent regularly. One minor thing is that when I was handed the box it has lots of frosting in different spots which made my hands and legs sticky from holding it on my lap. I got the flavors of the week so I could try one of each and I will rate them favorite to least favorite below. 1. Old Fashion Doughnut - this one was my favorite because it was the only one I felt like I could eat the whole thing great taste with a nice glaze over top. 2. Walnut Fudge Brownie - Was unsure about this one and ended up very excited! I would say the cookie part of it is more brownie than cookie and it was done with perfect fudginess 3. Fried Ice Cream - I will probably never pick this one again but it came in third in my ranking because I felt like it was so spot on in its flavoring. Reminded me exactly of fried ice cream. 4. Lemonade - I had high hopes for this one and was a bit disappointed. I was expecting a lemon cookie but it's a sugar cookie with lemon frosting. It's saving grace is that the frosting was very well done and full of lemonyness 5. Milk Chocolate Chip - Your average chocolate chip cookie. Homemade ones are almost always better in my opinion! 6. Cotton Candy - ended up being my least favorite because it was just too sweet for me and I'm not a huge cotton candy flavored gal. The little pop rock bits on top were fun and made it look cute.

This was my first time ever visiting a Crumbl Cookie location & maybe my expectations were a little too high. When I visited the store it was quite busy & the workers kept up quite nicely to the high demand of people coming in which I really appreciated. The cookies themselves were alright, I think I might have decided to try it on a week that the flavors were a little stranger than usual. I was a HUGE fan of the old fashion donut flavor this week and I'd go back just to get a whole box of those. Otherwise, the flavors this week had me mostly unimpressed. The novelty of it all was enjoyable but I'm not sure I'll try it again unless I'm convinced I'll love every flavor!

Personally think crumbl is overrated and too sweet. But my friend wanted to try and late at night still got cookies quick.

Super yummy, but very rich. I wish they kept the sugar cookie consistent like they do the chocolate chip.

I mean what kid wouldn't be excited for that? So many freshly-made options to choose from, and this one was a winner. Definitely a very sweet-treat, and worth splitting a handful of ways, but boy was it tasty! I also grabbed a latte for myself, which I always enjoy here. I will say however, I wish they had other milk options beyond oat and whole milk. I say this with no means to complain, but both of those milk are very 'heavy' so whenever something like skim or almond is available, that's a personal preference for sure. Love the community feel here, love the goodies, will return.

They had a variety of baked goods to choose from- we opted for the cinnamon roll and the seasonal danish. We also ordered a cappuccino and an americano. The baked goods we had were okay. We were disappointed they wouldn't heat up the cinnamon roll, the reason they gave us was because the frosting would run and be messy. So the cinnamon roll wasn't very enjoyable. I liked the filling on the seasonal danish but I asked for it heated up and it was served at room temp. The coffee was good- we both thought it was weak for our liking but it had good flavor. Also to note, this place is very family-friendly. When we were in, there were a lot of children and families enjoying the space. I would love to come back and try the monkey bread; they were sold out when we arrived this morning and we were told it's a top-seller.

Date of visit: April 26, 2026…read more Another place that has seemingly been around forever, but I didn't get a chance to visit until my days in Milwaukee were numbered! We came on a Sunday before they officially started serving breakfast and just had pastries available, but we were getting together with some friends for our monthly coffee date and didn't need a whole meal necessarily. The selection was a bit more limited than I would have expected from a boulangerie, but the cinnamon roll was very good (probably would have been better if it had been warmed up but that was not offered). And the cookies that we brought home (chocolate chip and gingersnap) were also very good. I also tried a bite of my husband's quiche and it was very good--definitely made in-house! The almond croissant had a generous amount of almond paste in it, and was quite sizable, too.

There's always something good looking in the bakery case--croissants, macarons, chocolate bombe. There's often a special for brunch or lunch too--I had a steamed mussels once that was pretty memorable. On my most recent visit I had the toasted cheese with a cup of tomate soup. The sandwiches come with a salad or potatoes. I had the salad and it was a nice array of fresh vegetables with a vinaigrette. The cheese was maybe not as all the way melted as I expected but it was still a nice treat. I couldn't resist getting the lemon cake for dessert. They had a strawberry shortcake that day too. Service was attentive and they kept my coffee cup filled. I should come here more often for weekend brunch.
