Yet, with Pop's that's never an issue as somehow they have worked some voodoo and found the most perfect kernals on the market. Pop's has some of the largest varieties of kettle corn flavors I have ever seen, but most importantly they have nailed the essentials. From caramel, to yellow cheddar, to OG sweet and salty, and a mix of the three, the flavors are outstanding. My daughter can't get enough of the yellow cheddar, which is coated thick with cheese. I'm also a cheese fan, but I gravitate to the bag of colby jack. Those other flavor varieties I mentioned earlier? It includes the crazy unique flavors of Soul Boxer brandy old fashioned, HOT TomKens on white cheddar, coffee stout, puppy chow, guacamole lime on white cheddar, honey garlic, peanut butter, taco, coconut oil and sea salt, dill pickle, birthday cake, maple bacon, pizza burger, and seasonal limited time offerings like chocolate peppermint, gingerbread, apple cinnamon, pumpkin spice and so much more. Who knew kettle corn could come in so many delicious varieties? Does a flavor sound intriguing yet you're unsure? They offer their kettle corn in multiple sizes (from the perfect single serving to the massive bag for the whole family) as well as some samples. Best yet, is the service. Mark, Megan and the whole family are so dang friendly, polite, and truly support the community they are in! Looking for a custom order with special popcorn colors and your logo for your business, fundraiser, wedding, baby shower, etc.? Pop's is your place. During these crazy COVID-19 times they are no longer accepting walk-ins, yet you can call or text in your order to 414-552-2079 and pick up curbside. Forgot your phone? Pull up, give a honk and they will be right out! Plus, they have been bringing in area food trucks daily for lunch including Double B's, Matty's, Bass Bay Brewhouse, Hidden Kitchen, Milk Can Hamburgers & Frozen Custard and more. I highly recommend Pop's Kettle Corn.

When I was many years younger, the only popcorn store I was familiar with was Karmelkorn, and their caramel popcorn had a medium brown glaze. I could pass it up any day, but if the people I was with insisted on stopping in, I would get some cheesy popcorn instead. Now, the closest popcorn store to home is Laura's Gourmet Popcorn. The caramel popcorn from Laura's red wagon in the Shops of Grand Avenue was first offered to me by my husband, who I blame for making me aware that this treat exists. The thick coating is a light brown color and to me it's almost a toffee-like flavor. In any case, it's delicious, and pretty hard for me to say no to. Sometimes Laura's will also sell popcorn at the Westown Farmers' Market.

Date of visit: November 27, 2024…read more I stopped here looking for some new varieties of popcorn for a fanatic in my life. She loved the White Chocolate and Maple Bourbon flavors, which I was glad to hear. However the price was pretty high given the amount of popcorn that you get and the location isn't nearly as convenient for me as Goody Gourmet, which tends to have better prices as well. Service was pleasant if a bit slow. There wasn't anyone in there and I knew what I wanted right away but it took a good 15 minutes to fulfill my order due to a "labeling issue in the back." I liked the look of the place, from the art to the games on the tables and it would be a fun place to hang out for a bit though the food menu outside of the popcorn and spring rolls is a bit limiting for me, making it a bit unlikely for me to come and stay for a while.

They came ready for business! They had a variety of products and could accept any version of payment your pajama clad self offered -- including Google pay! I had a good time laughing and exchanging jibs about Garrett's popcorn in my childhood hometown -- Chicago! I was told to try the "Chicago" label from this shop. I warily agreed and promised to write what I discovered! First, let me say! Garrett's is my all time FAVORITE!! I am one of those people who would stand in the line that wraps around the block for hours in the sub zero weather just to buy a bag of the cheesy caramel mix! I have to report, with a heavy heart ... I will not be driving to Chicago for Garrett's again! As the owner promised, this popcorn is wonderful! It was WI cheesy and the caramel made me feel all Christmasy sweet and buttery inside (and I don't celebrate Christmas)! I only wish I could have had this cheesey popcorn warm right out of the kettle. I can just imagine what THAT tastes like! I will definitely have to make a trip to Cedarburg to find this shop. In fact I'm going to have to walk there from Grafton so I can burn enough calories to earn the right to eat a bag of that popcorn right in the shop!

I was super surprised to see all of the offerings and the store layout totally isn't what I had expected. I've been to the places where they have glass counters and scoop up bags from behind - there is none of that here. The walls are adorned with bags of every variety of popcorn you could imagine from your standard white for $4 up to larger bags that will set you back over $15. My eyes were set on the Fat Boy (Double Cheese) but movie theater butter sounded fantastic too. Luckily, they will let you sample the offerings. I got what I call a small bag (there was a smaller bag) for about $9. Honestly, I don't want to know what's in this popcorn but you can't eat it out of the bag or you'll have cheesy hands. It definitely filled my desire. Based on past reviews, it sounds like this is a new location. This truly is a super cool, local business. It may be too convenient for me.
