I tried the special venison smashed burger. The frybread is perfect as buns. The fries you can totally tell are made in house. They have a thick texture and the spice is on point. Absolutely loved them. Definitely great to have as two meals! For dessert, we did the strawberry and blueberry frybread. With the whipped cream, it was a nice sweet treat. Smashburger was juicy and the frybread bun was cooked perfectly and awesome! Fries were great and the blueberry hot honey wings had amazing flavor that coupled with the blueberry lemonade perfectly. Casual and relaxed vibe with indigenous art and even some jewelry/crafts supporting local artisans. I can't wait to come back and try a pizza, stuffed frybread or any other item on the menu!!

The wife got the fish and chips, I got eggplant parm, we split a French onion soup. Everything was perfect. Bartender seating people had a terrible attitude. Talked to patrons like they were children. Ordered a lemon meringue martini. Thought it tasted an awful lot like pineapple. Bartender asked me if it was "ok". I just said yes because I didn't feel like complaining. Afterwards, I heard her telling somebody at the bar that she forgot to put lemon in it. She forgot to put lemon in the lemon meringue martini. Must be why it tasted like pineapple. We ordered stuffy's, which took forever to come out as we watch everybody else that came after us get their appetizers. Probably waited a half hour to even put our order and we had to repeatedly ask staff for everything because nobody would come over to the table. I got fish and chips. My husband got a veal Parm sandwich. The food was good, but the tartar sauce tasted oddly like nutmeg or cinnamon. Sat waited and waited and waited. Finally asked for our bill only to get someone else's bill and have to go back up to ask for our bill. I guess the locals must like this place but we did not... definitely a one and done for us.

The staff is super nice and attentive. It's an open layout and from what I could see, a well stocked bar. We got the jerk chicken w/honey wings to start which were SO GOOD! They aren't breaded or fried, which I like. Flavorful, hot and tender. I highly recommend them. I got the oxtail with rice and pinto beans. The portion was average but the flavors were spot on. Nice sauce and tender braised meats. My friend let me try her jambalaya, it wasn't like any I've had before, that's not saying it wasn't tasty it was just.... Lighter?! For lack of a better word. For having chorizo in it, I was surprised that it wasn't a heavier rice dish. It was something I would order because of that factor, however. It had nice subtle seasonings that highlighted the proteins in the dish. Very good imo. We got the churros for dessert and do me they fell short. They were dense and I overly "sugared". We weren't rushed and got to enjoy our visit and food at our own pace. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes. They had a full smoked BBQ menu in addition to the main menu, which intrigued me. Drop in and give it a try. It's not cheap but I feel worth the money and the portions, as I said, as average sized. I feel if they upped the cost $1 or $2 and beefed up the portions they may get a bigger crowd for that area. All in all def try it out. Cheers!

My fiancé and I ordered the Dominican breakfast, its eggs over medium, fried cheese, fried salami, mashed plantains with onions. Now I'm Hispanic and I love me a good Dominican breakfast but this was one of the best I've had ever! And trust me I've had many! Firstly the salami and cheese pieces were nice and big, I'm used to people being cheap and making them very small. Also we did pick up- so we were there a few waiting as it was made fresh, which I appreciate! The server I wish I would've got her name had us have a seat at the bar and got us water while we waited. She was such an aunty vibe and I loved it. I was observing others who were sitting down eating and their food looked so yummy! They were also equally out loud expressing how much they enjoyed their food. Also the plates are all decked out and even the tables they gave off love vibes! This place while very small, packed a punch. Me and my fiancé are going to come back probably this weekend to sit down and enjoy a meal and I'm so excited. Give this place a go for sure. They have limited parking in the front on the street. But they have a good amount of parking in the back of the building. Trust me it's worth it.
