The only hiccup on installation day was when WE forgot (they had told us twice) that we needed to have a plumber on hand to install the new sinks and faucets. We couldn't be more pleased with the company's helpfulness, professionalism and creativity. We will be visiting them at their new location (only 15 minutes away from the Main Street address) to look for another lovely slab of stone for a bathroom counter.

I'm a DIY homeowner and had landed on B&G's product after months of planning and shopping. I also purchased a granite counter slab with sink installed from B&G - let them cut the slab and install the hanging sink. Everything was done well, cut to the exact dimensions I ordered. I did the precision measure myself and gave them a printed and digital file of exact shape I wanted - akin to laser measurement. They were very clear on what they would warranty and what they wouldn't. I took a lot of risk because I picked up all products at their facility and took possession there. I lifted (with help of my sturdy teenage son) all this upstairs and installed myself - built-up pan with a liner, tile, counter top - the whole bit. B&G reps were very helpful the whole time up to payment and taking possession. They even recommended ways for me to take possession that would limit my liability if the counter top cracked. Basically they loaded into my truck for me. This did two things. First, it saved my back. Secondly, if the granite slab was prone to breaking due to a natural weakness or something then the load would be a great time to check, and they would have provided a new slab had that happened. All the products were high quality and as advertised. The communication couldn't have been better. Regarding the reviewer named Yancey - I understand the frustration at having to wait for parts, and maybe given the money you spent you wanted more communication. What is also obvious in your review is that your contractor owns most of the issues there. If your glass is coming detached from the shower, that sounds like an install issue and not a product issue. I suspect the glass was installed incorrectly such that the glass/shower connection was subject to a separating force, or there was some other problem with the install design. That kind of stuff is all on the shower design and installation. I'm guessing your contractor was you, your brother in law or some other DIY type. Any qualified contractor with industry standard skill level would not be relying on the product seller to instruct them on installation method,

It was a huge job. He did such a great job, that when it came time to re-do the floors in our new house, I dug out my old computer files to figure out who I hired so I could hire him again. This guy and his company are 5 star all the way! He has great ideas, too. For example, on my first house I was going to put hardwood under my washer/dryer, and he cautioned me not to do so due to likely water damage. He laid tile instead, which also came out great. I initially made a significant mistake in ordering a shade of flooring that was way too dark for the rooms in my house ( my own mistake and bad judgement- note to self- never buy flooring without first taking a sample home to check in your own home first). When the installers arrived to fit my new floor and after they had moved all the furniture and hauled out the carpets, I was horrified to find I hated the color of the LVP I had chosen when they started to place it on the floor. I was almost in tears thinking I was just going to have to live with flooring that I hated! The guys were very patient and gracious as I called Carpet Exchange and spoke with the manager John who was extremely tolerant and graciously agreed to accept return of the LVP and allow me to select another color. The installers put all my furniture back and tried to make me feel better, regardless of their wasted morning. From there, John and my sales customer service advisor Sarah helped me on the mission to find the LVP color that I had envisioned and they were reassuring without hesitation, that their ultimate priority was to make sure I was happy with my purchase. After taking MANY samples home to try in the lighting of my own home , I found the perfect floor. The installers came out again yesterday, as cheerful as ever for " take 2 flooring install" and I am absolutely in love with my new floors. Sure, my fault, should have held payment until it was addressed. Life gets busy, so a few years later I called, more than once, to finally get it addressed. Left messages, then only could get responses by emailing the "info" email address and they quoted $300 to come to fix the seams. Sorry, not acceptable and we cancelled. We are going to have quartz installed in all four bathrooms, but we'll go elsewhere. Funny thing, the owner was all over us when we were buying, but have not heard from him AT ALL about this. The only other advice I would offer is to NOT get the touch faucet unless it is "hard wired", as the battery life isn't great.

Knowing that I only had 16 sqft of counter to quote, most installers were making me buy either a half slab, or in some cases, a full slab of either granite or quartz. 5280 was the only place I went that was able to give me a by-the-square foot quote for quartz countertop. Their extra charge for going to the mountains was very reasonable and there was no extra charge for the trip to make the final measurements. The installers came later than expected, but they were communicative ahead of time, so it wasn't a big deal. These guys were willing to be up at my condo until 10PM at night to finish the install! And the work they did looks very professional, including a small modification that had to be made to a corner of the countertop. Can't even tell it was done onsite. Overall, I love the look of my new countertop and felt that I totally got my money's worth. If I have another countertop to do in the future, I definitely plan on coming back to 5280 Stone.
