They carry portable power tools, glues, and stains, that sort of thing, and standard building fir as well as interesting dimensions of woods like redwood and hickory. For me, this place is a comfortable, old-fashioned oasis with quality woods and service. Keep it up, men!

I headed straight for the tool section, where Jude helped me track down the exact drill bits I needed. Both Jude and Nathan were excellent--helpful, patient, and friendly. The product selection is solid, but what really stood out is the level of customer service. It's rare these days to find retail staff who go above and beyond, and these two certainly did (even humoring me as I reminisced about my own time working in retail). As a funny side note, I even got the chance to chase after a customer and his dog after he accidentally left a dog bone behind at the counter. Unfortunately, I wasn't fast enough to return it--maybe he'll return for his purchase! All in all, great selection, great service, and a team that makes shopping here a genuinely positive experience.

It took several weeks to dry my chosen red oak slab in the kiln and get the pieces cut, clear coated, and dried, but I picked them up yesterday. They are stunning! Since it will be several more weeks before I can get them installed, I thought I'd at least add in some pictures. Three of the shelves are more "normal" live edge floating shelves, but two of them are very interesting. One juts around a root, and this one for which I've included pictures has maintained its log-like shape, while they made the "top" flat for use as a shelf. When they are installed, hopefully in about a month, I will submit even more pictures! I highly recommend Colorado Wood and Metal for custom live-edge woodwork in your home!

They're take offs are far from complete and they pass the buck on personal responsibility. They can't even unload hardiboard siding they don't have the equipment , they claimed to have told me they couldn't deliver, without me supplying a forklift. But the truth was Joe never told me he couldn't deliver the product, his dispatcher did. But he then he said he'd figure something out. Then they both threw me under the bus to protect themselves for whatever reason, I couldn't care less what they said about me. But I thought we were good and worked things out. So as an act of good will I sent another house over to bid with MY OWN material take off and Joe sent a passive aggressive email to all my subs, and supplier's etc and in the email thread saying he wouldn't supply for THIS CONTRACTOR. All of this unnecessary passive aggressive behavior over a small disagreement started OVER A FORKLIFT. They claim thier customer service makes up for thier higher prices. But that is not so. My experience with Builders first source BMC UFP They have far superior customer service and material take offs that are always within 10%.. I just walked out of builders first source with everything I need and was treated fairly and with respect, as the way I am accustomed. Side note the owner of County line seemed reasonable and fair. But wouldn't fix anything.

Purchased two high-end Onyx Boulders from Colorado Materials. Couldn't find them anywhere else…read moreafter checking Pioneer and other local landscape material yards. Since I'm a rock collector too, I appreciate the beauty and value of their Onyx and Obsidian decorative boulders. They were delivered and placed in my front yard by Javier yesterday 7/17/25. Javier did an amazing job-- he was considerate of his skid steer fork lift in terms of damaging our grass, plants, sprinkler heads, and lawn. He had me lay quarter inch plywood on the lawn for him to drive over. When it came to a forsythia plant that was right in his path to place one of the boulders behind it, he had me hold the branches upright close to its center so it would fit between his two fork extensions and not be harmed. Then once in place, he tweaked the position of both boulders using one of the fork extensions to push one side of the boulder furrther back, bringing the other side more to the front. It was masterful to watch him do this. As you can see from the attached photo, our Onyx boulders are beautful, adding much to our landscape. Couldn't be happier!!

Also, I have had two large professional landscaping jobs done in the last four years, and they sourced all the stone at Tribble. It's great stuff, from sandstone patio pavers to large lichen encrusted boulders. This yard accepts homeowners showing up to nose around and pick a few stones to huge flatbeds and forklifts for large professional jobs. They are helpful. Some items like pavers are bought by the square foot, other items, by the pound. If you are buying by the pound, you need to get your vehicle weighed at the old scale before loading, and then maneuver onto it at the end. Lots of fun but very hard work. Take gloves and heavy shoes and try to go when it is not too sunny, hot or windy. And your car will get dirty.

But sometimes you need alternative choices on merchandise, or quick in and out convenience if you are in this shopping center for some of their local treasures like Sweet Cow or Lucky's or Neptune or Kim & Jakes or Pharmaca and you think of something else and this store will save you a separate trip. I saw something on their outdoor display area when I was leaving Lucky's and went in to check it out. It was what I had thought about to solve a yard problem, it was on sale and worked out well. The owner was there, he's had the store for about 10 years he said and I thought it was greatly improved since it's days in the 80s and 90s as Rad Hardware.
