    BEFORE YOU READ - The punch line is that you should not use this company. I held back on the…read moreexpletives, but they are well earned. Good luck with your repair, just don't use Precision Body and Paint in Oregon. I am over 4 months waiting for my truck to be repaired. some dents on the Drivers side Front and passenger doors of the truck. Everything still worked - doors opened and closed, window, etc. It was just cosmetic damage. December 5 2025 was the dropoff, now it is April 17, 2026. You name an excuse they have it: Parts showed up damaged, need to get new parts, Can't find the right parts, Ford service manual doesn't show how to repair that part, we might have to total the car if we damage this part during repair, etc... NOT GOOD AT ESTIMATING: All of this AND original estimate $8K, Revised estimate after they had the truck for 2 months $21K. THEY DON'T ACTUALLY WORK ON THE VEHICLE: At this point ZERO work has been completed except disassembly. Congratulations Precision, you know how to take stuff apart, now lets see if you can put it back together? PHONE CALLS: As a bonus, when you call - AI answers and makes you answer a bunch of stupid questions only to promise someone will call you back. If they do forward you to a person, it goes to voicemail, but the voicemail is full and you can't leave a message. EMAILS: Emails go without ANY reply. VISITING MY TRUCK IN PRECISION JAIL: I finally had to drive over and walk into the shop. The excuse (at 3.5 months of waiting) was that they were waiting for a couple more things to figure out before they order the parts for the repair. Extra bonus, they charge a HIGHER Rate than insurance will reimburse, because they are so awesome. That means you pay extra out of pocket ABOVE your deductible. Double Extra Bonus: They keep changing the bid amount, even though they got paid by the insurance company in January! - 3 MONTHS AGO! Triple Extra Bonus: When you drop off you get a free 19 page list of excuses and reasons why shit may go wrong, but no matter what it won't be their fault. They make you sign every page Quadruple Extra Bonus: That document was written by a monkey. And I fricking hate monkeys. The number of errors and outdated information in their contract is ridiculous. Who cares if they do a good job on repairs if they never actually do the repairs. At this point I am stuck because their crack crew of truck wreckers has disassembled my truck and they want to charge me $8K just to put it back together so I can get it the *Expletive* out of their shop. Please don't use them. Tell others not to use them. If you make the decision to go ahead and use them, please contact me, so that we can get together and commiserate when you realize you screwed up and that your vehicle is stuck in Precision Hell for months without any hope of getting it back in time. Good news - The AI phone agent told me that after waiting over 4 months that she can understand why I am frustrated, but that the truck is scheduled for completion on June 5. Unfortunately, I don't know if that is June 5, 2026 or 2027??? By the way, I've got just over $100K into the truck and it has been out of commission for 4 months- what is that worth??? Precision you are jokers. I don't trust you. You have been dishonest in your dealings with me. I will make it known to Everyone that you suck. Give me my F*ing truck back!

    This body shop is not good, in summary…read more The car damage was light and it was an insurance claim against the person who hit my car. Small bumper damage and small door dents, the original estimate was about $3000, and kevin told me it might go up to $4000-5000. The total bill was close to $8500. They repaired the vehicle before insurance paid for it, so if the insurance decided not to, I would've been screwed. They sent me the updated estimates after the repairs were done asking if they should go ahead with them. After that they kept increasing and decreasing the total bill, as they liked. I have in my possession 3-4 different total bills. The shop had multiple different employees that I had talked to, 2 of them left, so I kept getting different promises of what will be done with my car. I had a small front scratch that kevin and Aron told me they will fix (on the house since they were small) but since they left, their notes didn't matter. The shop did "repair" those scratches on the house, but they have caused more damage. And now I will pay even more to get them fixed. The promise was complete repair, these guys took a marker and lightly covered them (pics included) The repair was delayed by 10 days. I was leaving Oregon and I had to have the car done by a certain time. They waited till the last minute to tell me they need more money from the insurance, which put me in a bad position and had to cancel my shipping car date and re-arrange flights. This was only due to them not being on top of things. The manager Steven lies blatantly and tells me he been contacting the insurance company but they don't respond. Yet when I do a quick call, they send a check within 2 days. I would also send Steven emails and left voicemails asking for updates, but he doesn't return my calls or respond to my emails. And when I did finally get in touch after 7-8 attempts, he tells me he sent me emails but they didn't go through. Even though we were sending emails back and forth when they were asking for more money. So as a man, I'm embarrassed for him to have a guy his age lie like that. Finally, and ironically enough, when I was picking my car, there was another customer with a Jeep who the shop damages her car. And when she left they were making fun of her, even though they had acknowledged the damage and the delays they caused, calling her rude because she was upset and was in a hurry. Finally, if the owner reads this, I had told the employees how Rivian is right next to me, and I have family members who work there, who will hear about your shop and how your employees behave. And even more importantly, the low quality of repairs the cars leave your shop in.

    What would you have rated them? Let me give you the…read morehighlights of all the things that they did wrong 1. When it came to picking up the car, they called at 4:50pm, basically end of business day. Supposedly left a voicemail earlier in the day. When records were checked, no such things were left. No calls or messages or voicemails were left. 2. The car itself after they 'fixed it', two paint drips, missing clip on the fender, plastic trim that was scratched up was never actually replaced, scuffs in the front driver fender, not buffed out - had to be pointed out, missing bolt to keep the fender in, but when they did their analysis they left suction marks for whatever wheel alignment they did that was never there before they had my car in their possession 3. They told us they would get the part and call us back when it came in - literally a month went by, no call or follow up again, it's us following up with them. The girl can't even say when the part was received, Anduar dances around the question. 4. We schedule it for 1 day to fix everything's they say they don't think it will take longer - and they don't do rentals 5. After that fix that should only take 1 day, they messed up, they sanded the paint drips down too far, so now, have to schedule again to get it fixed and now they do rentals 6. Go in to drop off car - then being told I got the day wrong, I am a day early thankfully Billy sets everyone straight that today is the correct day 7. Rental nightmare- they don't know if the car is getting dropped off or if they are picking me up, it's unorganized. I go outside to get fresh air, Billy advised me that it would be easier for them to pick me up, if they are not dropping a vehicle off. I go outside for 5 minutes, come back and they think my wife is picking me up. Then I see a guy calling enterprise and then tells me they will call me shortly. 8. If I have a SUV they are fixing, I am expecting my rental to be an suv as well, nope I got a sedan. 9. When I drop off my car, they are missing a piece and misplaced it now they have my car longer 10. Got my car back and when I went to inspect I saw a clip for the plastic fender missing 11. and they ripped the wiring for my powered side mirrors, at this point I have 0 interest in trusting them with my vehicle at all. If you want things fix the first time, correctly, personally I would not go here. Mind you, my claim was back in September, we are now in December. I want to say after the first visit, we were asked multiple times to provide a review. After this last time I have yet to hear a request for a review. Which I think with all the times of having to return and the quality of service. The reviews at this point to me, I am not sure how scored so highly. I encourage anyone who wants to get their vehicle fixed, take a towel with you and inspect your vehicle prior to you meeting with them. That way they are not over your shoulder. Then after you receive your vehicle make sure you do a review prior to meeting with them. That way you are not distracted and can give yourself time to do a thorough analyzation of your vehicle. I want to preface this by saying it's been months, since having my vehicle back. I debated about leaving this review due to the continuous poor experiences, but I felt it was important to share, because I do love my vehicle, I'd hate to have anyone share this poor experience with me.

So I took my 15 year old Hyundai Santa Fe in for an estimate on a failed factory paint job. The owner was right up front explaining the extra work to strip, sand and extensive prep work that would be required before even starting to re paint my gloss black paint. It seems to be a common flaw in the early black obsidian Hyundai paint jobs. That car in the parking lot with the huge white peeling clear coat and flat black paint under where the clear coat has peeled.... that's MY car. Hung could have low balled my estimate and called after he started with his reasons why it could not be finished within his estimate. Instead, he wrote me a note explaining why this was a manufacturing defect and should be repaired by the factory. 5 stars for being up front and trying to assist in a claim against the factory. I won't hold my breath on a favorable ruling from the factory. But if I have other work on my truck or mechanical issues... Canyon Auto Repair has established their credibility in my book. Truth be told, I kinda expected the bad news.

He had to put extra effort to help scrub sap off the windshield and tried to help us diagnose what the possible issues were. He was so knowledgeable and gave us a few ideas on how to fix our problem.
