Sure they help you install wipers when you buy them there, but Benjamin went out of his way, in the misting rain, to help clean our windshield. He had to put extra effort to help scrub sap off the windshield and tried to help us diagnose what the possible issues were. He was so knowledgeable and gave us a few ideas on how to fix our problem. Custome service above and beyond. Kudos to you Benjamin! read more

Terrible customer service! Waste of time! Waited for 10 minutes and no one even acknowledge I was there. Busy chatting with friends vs helping customers. read more

This place is either always out of everything I need or they think it's funny to upsell the most expensive parts to desperate people. I can't remember the last time I actually left after buying something. Shelves and selections of things you need are bare more often than not. They've got plenty of oil and seat covers, though. read more

Super FAST and AWESOME service. Got in and was helped by a very FRIENDLY attendant who knew a lot about Unreal Tournament (I was wearing a t-shirt about the game) and while we talked about it, he got wiper blades for my car. I left the store in less than 5 minutes. There is No Way I could have found the right wiper blades (New vehicle, first time replaced) in less than 10 minutes. Did I need to know the exact model or anything for those blades? No. All I needed was wiper blades. Thank you for saving me 10 minutes of my life! read more

When I get a quote on phone that's $100 less than other companies. I get there and they charge me same price as other places instead of what I was quoted. Then has to do 3rd time order part to get right piece. What a huge pain in the ass. Never returning to a place with incompetent people working there. read more

was having trouble change my car battery and justin p help me change it. he was very respectful and helpful.

TEDDY is your man! The battery in the car I was driving died and I called to ask if they sell the battery I needed. From the phone call, he was SUPER patient with me while guiding me to find where the battery was located in the vehicle, to telling him the numbers on the battery so he could figure out which one I needed. Once I got there, he tested my battery for me and then told me unfortunately they don't do replacements in this type of car because you have to remove plastic panel that holds it in place. He brought us some tools to get us started and then came back out when he saw us struggling and ended up helping us take the dead battery out and install the new one. He helped us for over an hour! I am just SO impressed with his customer service and patience-- he probably stayed way past his shift for us. He seriously went above and beyond and I am just amazed and definitely coming back to this AutoZone and making sure I see him for any help! Gratefully, Miranda R. read more

Autozone - Teddy and his amazing help!!! - Auto Parts & Supplies Near Me - Portland, Oregon

Had a check engine light on and was heading on a long drive. Came into AutoZone and they diagnosed it for free! Very helpful. Thank you!

I have never encountered such disrespectful employees at a location before. I think his name was Pablo, but he wasn't wearing a mask properly, it was only covering his mouth. When he was ringing my stuff up, after he scanned each item he threw it on the counter. The older gentleman who was the only one wearing a grey shirt, when I asked him a question his response made me feel like a complete idiot. I will never go to this location again. read more

This place pretty much ran Mikes Auto Parts out of business. Actually, Mikes ran themselves out of business since they rarely had what I was looking for in stock, their customer service was poor (very poor) and no one there seemed to actually like their jobs. I have occasion to go to Autozone once a year or so and they almost always have what I want in stock.... and at very competitive prices. They are happy to install simple parts like wiper blades and they seem to be unusually knowledgeable as far as parts usage and applications go. They aren't the friendliest clerks around but they are professional and efficient which is what I'm looking for when I need something. They do seem to be chronically understaffed though.... but I can usually get in and out in a reasonable amount of time. I am generally not in favor of big chains driving out the "little guys" but in this case, the "little guys" (Mikes) was a very poorly run business that had been running on borrowed time for years. read more

Great bunch of employees. Very helpful. I was disappointed with the mechanic recommendation They gave me. I cut people a lot of slack till I get taken financially This guy put a supposed rack & pinion in my car 800 dollars . I got the car back after 30 days it still dripped I brought to a different mechanic he Jacked it's up said it's still the original unit . From there it's gets complicated , guys smooth . read more

We were greeted right away by a sales associate who asked what we were looking for (a new headlight bulb). He looked up the item number we needed, showed us to the selection in the store, and gave us useful info about a DIY replacement which, if I may say so, was a total success. Would totally come back for small maintenance purchases in the future. read more

Worst autozone experience I've ever had. I've been here a few times before and have had no issue with someone helping me replace a headlight bulb. The employee I had today was rude, had an attitude about helping me right the right bulb for my car, and didn't help me replace it. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone anymore. read more

I love that Autozone provides free battery testing. That said if there is even the slightest bit of rain, don't go to the location off of Murray, even if they are not busy they will not test your battery. My suggestion is to go to their Tigard location as they didn't have any issues testing my battery in the rain. Also I have found that the employees at the Beaverton location are just a bit grumpy and a whole lot less helpful. In contrast the employees at the Tigard location were very welcoming and helpful. read more

Update: went to Riley's Auto Parts, installed the battery (zero electronic components by the way) l, cost me 210$c I have the employee who did the install and the manager that said they'd do it 20$ each as a show of gratitude. That's how it's done. read more

I had a 20 dollar reward on my account. I was treated like I did not matter when I walked in. Clearly unhappy people work here. Tried to buy 28 dollars worth of stuff. They lost the reward in their computer and could not figure out how to fix it. Tried to charge me full price. I have had nothing but trouble each time I go to any AutoZone. This will be the last time. Worthless. Poorly run corporation. read more

This Autozone opened semi recently in my neck of the woods. I always like them because they read codes out of your car and give a printout of what the codes mean for your auto make/model. And, they also lend you oddball tools needed to do some jobs for just a deposit. All these offered free of charge. The store is always clean and organized and the guys never hesitated on helping me do simple stuff like changing my wipers. Glad they opened one closer to me now! read more

Came in to take advantage of their battery and alternator testing offer. I'm always a one thing kinda woman.. if it works, I'll stick with it. I've particularly have had great experiences in most autozones than any of the other guys. I purchased my battery just a year prior so warranty was still good. Nonetheless, Harry (wonderful Harry) even helped troubleshoot and recommended a local mechanic (he sounds pleasant already). For all my automotive needs, I'd be sure to check with Autozone first! +Convenient Locations +Excellent, knowledgeable Staff +Great Value +Exceptional variety/choices of products +Clean facility read more

My VW Golf Alltrac's battery just about died. I came into the AutoZone Store in the Cedar Mill location to get some help with a battery check. Junior (I think that is what he called himself) was helping me. He was very patient with me since it was my first time being there. Anything and everything to do with car stuff always seems overwhelming but Junior was kind enough to help me out with finding the right battery for my car and also help install it. I am super appreciative of this kind of extended service from Junior which is indeed rare nowadays. Thanks Junior! read more

I just needed one thing but what I witnessed was awesome. Busy Saturday afternoon. Everyone seemed to be being helped. One guy was outside helping a lady with her battery. Another guy was checking a customer out, then he helped me. While he was helping me and waiting for my debit card to clear, he asked the guy behind me if he needed parts. All he needed was a ODBII reader so he gave it to him. Then came back to finish my transaction. Never missed a beat. These guys must be tired at the end of the day. read more

I needed my front right headlight replaced. I knew if I went to Jiffy Lube they'd charge me $25 for the light and the labor. The light bulb costed me $2. I was going to change it myself but I had to take out my air filter to get the bulb out and I didn't have the right tools to do so. Ryan A. stood out in the cold while it was snowing and helped me. I honestly could not have done that without him. I love AutoZone because of people like Ryan. Thank you sir. read more

Went in to get a dent popper. Staff was friendly at the door. I wandered around for a solid 15 mins trying to find what I was looking for and finial lay someone came over to help me. Extremely amazing customer service. I came in with a dead battery, hoping to borrow tools and swap it out in the lot. Alex asked if I would like him to change it, I said I would do it, but could I get a wrench. He happily let me borrow a set of ratchets holding my credit card. Clearly the staff is given all the tools needed to be a great parts store, and it shows. After finishing the swap, I dropped the tools off and Alex let me know they have Orange hand cleaner in the bathrooms, and made sure to ask if everything started okay. Really impressed with the service here, especially Alex himself. He didn't feel like being nice was forced, and he genuinely enjoyed his job. Give that man a gold star or whatever you guys do. read more

This autozone is completely incompetent. I love autozone and have done most of the work on my vehicle from ordering parts through them using a different autozone. As this is the closest one, I chose to go here --big mistake. This autozone makes me never want to step foot in another autozone due to their lack of knowledge, their lack of honoring their own clearance item prices, and having rude employees. read more
