I've been eating Cristy's Pizza since I was a kid. I think Salisbury is the original location, but the one is Hampton is just as good (and the one I go to mostly since it's closer to home). On the plus side it is fast. They basically create a plain pizza then top with what you want and then refired in the oven. This is typical for many places that serve pizza by the slice. I am not sure if they even serve anything else, but when you are ordering, take a glance behind the cashier person to see how huge these things are, unless they are making them smaller now. Beach pizza is made in a big rectangle, kinda of like Sicilian, but only as far as the shape. Its thin in the middle (crispy) and the edges have a nice crust. It is usually only sauced, with a slight sprinkle of cheese. The way you order it is with extra cheese, which is a slice of provolone they throw on b4 heating in the oven. They also usually offer pepperoni, and that's about it. But trust me, the nice melty provolone will do the trick nicely! OMG my mouth is watering.....I do not live in state anymore and I miss the hell out of this type. Every time I am forced to come visit family though, we make a trip down to the beach for a huge box. ps. Do NOT EVER try to call a round pizza Beach Pizza. Yes it's been here a long time - but it still sucks I definitely give them kudos for a year around operation. I've seen this place open in blizzards. And they definitely got the operation down, big rectangles, barely any cheese or toppings, sweet sauce. very light crust. It's not heavy that's for sure. Without a doubt a Hampton Beach classic, but not a 'go to' satisfying pizza. I would say try a slice, then go get a real pizza. read more

I'm not writing this review in regards to their pizza. I'm writing in regards to their integrity and honesty which they have zero of either. I was attending the seafood Festival with my daughter and two grandchildren and unfortunately my small traveling purse had fallen out of the baby stroller as we were walking. I received a message from a gentleman who had found my purse and told me he had given it to a worker at Christy's Pizza on River Street and I could go there and pick it up. He also told me that the gentleman at Christie's pizza told him If I did not show up that day that they would make sure they would give it to the Hampton police.....Unfortunately they never gave it to the Hampton police and when I went there to ask about the purse I was treated with such disrespect and told that they never ever received a purse from such a person and actually refused to even look at me or answer any of my questions. read more

I grew up on beach pizza. It's not like your regular pizza. My boyfriend (who had never had it) kept asking me what it tasted like and I could only say "you will see. It's beach pizza". The guy was really nice and friendly who was working that day. Now I haven't had this pizza in over 10 years so I had high expectations with fond memories of spending endless summer nights in the late 90's and early 2000's snacking on beach pizza watching fireworks and listening to music at the shell stage. First bite and I was transported back to the time before smartphones existed. It tasted exactly like it always has. It was delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced with plenty of leftovers for later. Maybe it's nostalgia that keeps this place going. But I can guarantee you one thing, the people who rate this place 1 star, do not "get" what "beach pizza" is. I really don't understand all the good reviews here. We came here twice in a 3 year spam for a single slice of pizza for my wife. The price is about $2 while you pay usually $3.50 on the beach and both times we ended up getting for her the cheese pizza slice with "extra cheese". The pizza itself is square cut, thin crust, light sauced pizza. You can barely see any cheese. I had a bite of it last time and it didn't give me heartburn (reason why I don't eat pizza). That made me think of the single pizza in the world with "tomato sauce" that doesn't give me heartburn which is ellios microwave pizza. And in my opinion it is a heresy to call that a pizza. So let me be clear: the pizza here tastes s lot like microwaveble frozen pizza. And the Xtra cheese? A thin slice of provolone the girl puts on top of it. I have been going to Cristy's Pizza since I was a kid and I am now 48, My Dad would make the 1.25 hour long trip to get this pizza! It is light and very very tasty... the perfect amount of sauce and cheese. Was just there this week 8/12/2013 (same trip 1.25 hours) and decided to try both Tripoli's against Cristy's. Let me tell you folks Tripoli's is sugar sauce, I could not believe how sweet this sauce was, I almost threw it away. Cristy's at Salisbury Beach and also excellent Pizza on the way to Hampton is Cristaldo's, which I was told is the original recipe to Cristy's Pizza. So the only problem is it is so far away if you do not live near there. I believe I am going to fix this and open a Cristy's or Cristaldos in southern Mass off 495. i don't normally visit Hampton beach but when i do i avoid this place as much as possible. i very much HATE crusty's pizza as i think it is bland, boring and tasteless but i was hungry. was this night i would convert from the REAL, TRUE BEACH PIZZA that is Tripoli Pizza? i was out drinking one night and i was starving for something to eat. my friend and i (we both equally HATE crusty's pizza) decided to 'keep our friends close, and our enemys closer' we ordered what we would normally order at TRIPOLI PIZZA, two slices with extra cheese. we waited on what seemed like a year before it was ready. the pizza itself was hot, a good bake, yes but the pizza was just as bad as i remember it being when i first tried it all those years ago- BLAND, BORING, TASTELESS, NO PERSONALITY, UNORIGINAL. i took three bites before tossing mine to the trash bucket (you think i would feed that nuclear waste to seagulls?) i feel bad for the people of Hampton beach who consider this "true beach pizza" more so i feel bad for tourist and vacationers who have no real beach pizza to eat on Hampton beach. Regardless, be prepared to wait in line 3-5 minutes with a gaggle of other drunken fools for your delicious pie. Leave the women and children at home to avoid confrontation. As for the pizza, defenitely ask for the the extra cheese, and put a dash of garlic powder on top. It is orgasmic. Here a few other ways I would describe it: - Better than sex - Better than rubbing one out - Better than sex you dont have to pay for - Really good You will not be disappointed. The staff over this weekend has ruined this summer tradition for me and my friends. They are thefts!!! Thank god for find my iPhone app!!! My friend must have left his phone on the counter when paying and someone working there took it! Saw the location of the phone was at the restaurant so asked the counter if the had his phone. The girl was admit at the counter no phone and wouldn't ask anyone. We used the alarm function with find my iPhone and it was inside the building!!!!! I will never come to this location again!
