Decent local pizza place located in a strip plaza next to the Lobster Tail. The place is very casual with table seating and the order counter towards the back. The menu offers pizza, calzones, subs, burgers, fried chicken, steak tips, salads, Italian dinners, Greek items (gyros, spinach pie, baklava), and Coke products. The prices are lower moderate here, a small sub is $5.95, large gourmet pizzas are $16.95, and most dinner/pasta plates are ($8.95-$10.95). I stopped here for lunch recently during the middle of the afternoon and decided to order a small cheese pizza ($7.51 with tax) instead of slices. The cheese pizza was already made and put in the oven for 10 minutes. The hot out of the oven pizza had lots of bubbling mozzarella cheese over a soft firm crust, thick edges, similar to another "Pond" pizza place in town, except more cheese here. The pizza was good enough to eat in one sitting with no leftovers. The size a bit small for the price paid, but in line with other places in Windham. read more

OK, so while we were exploring the neighborhood searching for our new home, we came across this place. I really was hoping it would be full of East Coast pizza goodness, but alas, it was not. I ordered a large half pepperoni, half mushroom to go and as soon as we opened the box, we saw the first sign of trouble... canned mushrooms. Ugh. I know that's more convenient, but dang... it does NOTHING for the taste of your pizza and screams lazy. That's good for relaxing in a hammock on a sunny afternoon, but not for making pizza. The dough itself was just plain... nothing special at all. The toppings... we already went over the mushrooms and the pepperoni and cheese was just alright. Fair warning... I'm a Cobbetts Pond Pizzeria Regular. We order from Cobbetts weekly, typically I get the small steak and cheese with extra onions - delicious. When we're not deep in sandwiches, we frequently get the grilled chicken marinated pizza. The crust has a nice edge the cheese blend is exactly what I look for. While you can order and eat-in, we find Cobbetts to be great take-home or order food. read more

I ordered a burger and fries and was told 45 minutes.i understand it gets busy so I decided I'd go through with my order. I got there a little early and was told 20 more minutes. I have worked many food establishments Over the past 8 years and never had to tell someone 45 minutes for a burger. To top it off my buddy also order 5 minutes after I did and got his food first. After waiting another 15 I walked out without my food cause at this point it was over an hour for a burger and fries. 99% sure was it was done and sitting in the warmer even though I was sitting in the dining room waiting. Honestly can't believe how awful of an experience it was. Loved this place but prob won't be coming back anytime soon. read more

As far as great food goes in the area, this is it. This place screams delicious food, family, and convenience. Awsome spot.-cobbetts pond pizzeria I have been in the shop as well as ordered delivery. Being in the shop has a great atmosphere that reminds me of growing up near the pond. This family owned restaurant offers a friendly feel. All employees are very friendly and polite. From both watching and tasting the food I can assure you everything is fresh and tasteful. They take time to ensure everything is perfect. My delivery experiences have been delightful as well. The food arrived well packaged, hot, and in a quick manner. The delivery drivers are also always very friendly. To conclude I would say cobbetts pond pizzeria offers the best lunch time food in the area. I have ate here numerous times and am always amazed with the high quality food and service. I called in an order and went to pick it up. While waiting, I watched what appeared to be a father and 2 sons preparing the food. The father made a ham & cheese sub with lettuce and tomato and then answered the phone and took an order. He then proceeded to make another sub... all while not wearing an gloves! Had I ordered a sub, I would have demanded it get remade while I watched. I pointed out to the son that the sub maker is required to wear gloves, he acknowledged it and said "I know and he knows but he doesn't like to wear them". I told him if the Health Department came and shut you down, would he wear them then? I would never return here or recommend it. read more

Hands down the Best steak tip subs in the area. The tips are tender and marinated on site. Try it you'll like it.

The pizza here was terrible. I was so mortified at a restaurant would even Serve such a terrible dish. The pizza looked disgusting and I had to drain the grease off The slice of pizza that I took. Not to mention the burnt bottom of the pizza. Their prices for out rages for a pizza that didn't even taste good. The only thing that was worth eating was The chicken tenders that my little baby cousin ordered. I would stay clear of the restaurant good luck. read more

The atmosphere at this pizzeria was not welcoming. Neither the owner or young lady asked to take my order. No eye contact. When I went to place my order, the young lady was cold. Ordered from here a couple times. First time i got the steak tip salad and my husband got the grilled chicken salad. Grilled chicken salad was tasty and chicken was tender and juicy....steak tip salad...salad part was good, steak part, not so good. Steak tips tasted like bad lamb. We ordered a cheese pizza for delivery last night. Being from bklyn, ny....there is no such thing as good pizza anywhere else...and this place proves that theory. Their sauce has sooooo much sugar in it that is un-appetizing. We asked for light on the mozz and it was more like we got extra cheese. This place is horrible! There was no option for 0 stars. We placed an order with them and they told us the order is going to be max up to 1 hour. After 1 hour and 15 minutes we decided to check in on them - given that the 1 hour delivery timeline was already pushing normal service levels for pizza places. When we were on the call with them we could hear them discussing in the background - the girl who answered on the phone could not promise when the order would arrive and the owner was very hostile and said to the employee "what did they expect - we are busy" and was very rude in general. We asked to cancel the order at that point (having waited for food for 1 1/2 hour at that stage). They did cancel the order, but if you want good customer service don't go there. read more

Thought I would try their spinach pie, waste of money. Tried a bite and threw out the rest. Shouldn't be on the menu, that's why they serve it from the freezer. When I ordered I was in a rush so I did I didn't need it heated up, the response I received was "well it's frozen" I said I would take it like that. I should have known. read more

The pizza here is not a traditional Italian pizza and is very oily, so oily we needed napkins to stop all the grease on our fingers. I would not recommend any of there pizzas, however there subs have been generously filled, usually with fresh ingredients. Their onion rings are also delectable!
