This is you typical place started by a local who was popular, so the locals thought-"yeah, let's help the local boy" The food is industrial - the service is from a high school kid who could give a shit and the place looks like a cafeteria. If you like everything soaked in seed oils and your food given to you in styrofoam, this is your place. Unfortunately for southern NH this is pretty standard fare. Ordered a southwest chicken panini and drove 15 minutes to pick it up. Picked up my order, drove back home another 15 minutes, opened it- and realized their staff suck at quality control and gave me the wrong sandwich. I called and they said my sandwich was there for me to come back and pick up (which would take up another 30 minutes of my time round-trip). They refused to deliver it to me. Great local establishment in Windham on Route 111. Always very clean inside and have never had an item I didn't like. The staff is super friendly (lots of WHS) and willing to help make a selection when undecided. During the warmer months they have a few outside tables which would be really nice if the bees didn't also know how good the food was and want to hang around for the party. Recommend the pizza, extra crispy fries, Ruben and salads and chicken fingers. Can't go wrong here. Glad to have them in town. read more

I ordered 5 Pizzas and 7 regular cokes to be delivered to a job site! I paid $99 and change. Let me tell you horrible pizza! They send up 7 diet cokes and lousy pizza! I was not on site to accept the deliverer. I called my guy to make sure everything was delivered. I never mentioned diet cokes. So I called back and told the young man that they needed to replace the drinks! He said no problem. When the drinks arrived 3 bottles was cold the other 4 was room temperature. We are new to Windham and are SO glad we found 33 Hilltop! We haven't been in the establishment (yet) but have ordered delivery multiple times. The app they use, Toast, is very easy to navigate and has always been true on delivery window. They have great COVID-19 measures in place and offer contactless delivery. The sandwiches are great and pizza is even better. When we've called. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. Try the turkey avocado blt and the cheesy bread. YUM! read more

Stopped at 33 Hilltop on a whim while visiting nearby Salem, NH. We picked it based on reviews and we were not disappointed. We ordered a Specialty Pizza, Chicken Bacon Ranch and a Veggie Burger with fries. The pizza was a huge hit with my partner, he was very satisfied. It was crispy and fully covered with thick bacon and breaded chicken. The veggie burger was great, I picked my own toppings and was very happy, the bun was perfect and the burger though a simple frozen Patty was still very good. The service was quick for a Friday at Lunch, it seemed like a more of a take-out place. The only negative was the price, over $30 for a bugger a small pizza and drinks. There also wasn't many vegetarian options though there were some salads on the menu. Overall we would definitely recommend, it's close to the highway and you won't be disappointed with the food. read more

I have been coming to 33 Hilltop for a couple months now and have had a chance to try a few things on their menu. Overall; The restaurant is clean, their staff is friendly, the food comes out fast and it's constantly great. The Pizza is some of the best in the area and the Calzone's are also very good. Their Subs are my go to for lunch, hot or cold they are all great. I do think the Chicken Parm sub is the best. I should give it 4 stars because they use breaded wings, but I can just skip the wings, there is enough good food to choose from! read more

Ordered a steak Caesar wrap. Some might say it's a sandwich, while others will say it's a salad. I was surprised when it rang up as $14. When I got home, I was completely underwhelmed with the lack of filling in the wrap. If I get charged for the price of the salad plus a protein in a wrap, I would expect a full serving salad inside the wrap....usually making an overflowing mess. This was not the case. A few leaves, good amount of steak, and great taste. Staff was awesome, and they were working very hard. I'll definitely be back, but not for a steak Caesar wrap. read more

Forgot to eat, had to pick someone up at the airport, and needed to grab a bite. At first, I thought I'd chosen the wrong exit for any food, but this is only about a half mile west from I-93, in an unassuming strip mall across from the post office. There were so many options, and I was starving. I chose the Cuban. It came with a pickle on the side, which I hadn't expected. Nicely toasted, the ingredients were distributed evenly, and the mustard wasn't gooping out as I bit into it. Good job, emergency food stop! I drove away happy. read more

My son Casey and I went here the first week it opened. We were curious to see how good this place was, as the previous tenant also operated a town deli/burger joint. So I approached the owner who was behind the counter and asked him a question half-jokingly, "what do you believe is the difference between the previous deli and yours?". He immediately answered, "our attention to detail". Good enough! So we both ordered a burger each with the typical hold this/add this to each of our borger. Soon enough our two burgers were brought out. To our surprise, both burgers were not prepared the way was asked them. that's two out of two burgers. The store wasn't busy at all so no opportunity to be overwhelmed, or at least I thought, from the typical lunchtime rush. We both ate the burger, and left. I wanted to motion it to the owner, but soon enough a wave of people came in. Later I posted this feedback to a facebook Windham community of interest page, that coincidentally enough the owners posted their store info and the basic come one / come all to the grand opening. I made a comment on the group, respectfully sharing my negative feedback...Making a point to share this as a notification to the owners to fix their problem. Soonafter one of the owners responded in the group page. He took a try defense posture and dd nothing to keep a local customer (me) coming back to their deli in the future. No offer of apology or offer to sell me a burger at a discount etc. nothing to keep a prospective customer. I then responded, scolding him, and calling out that he doesn't understand the basic tenents of basic customer service and retention. I will never, and have never, go back to that place EVER. Stopped in for what turn out to be a fantastic cheesesteak nice and hot good amount of cheese and well cut up like philly. French fries were crispy and hot clean oil would give it five stars but just need to cook the mushroom and onion a little bit longer before putting down the meat. OK, so, I've eaten here twice now and both times have been very good. The food is tasty and there's a pretty good variety to choose from. The service is great too. Windham has needed a sandwich shop like this for a while! You walk in and it's on the smaller side so you might not know what you are in for but they make great sandwiches. I won't sit here and tell you they shave truffle on them or shower you in heirloom tomatoes but they do have a great bread selection. The classics are the classics wether it's your pulled pork or steak and cheese so I put a very high value on how you dress it up, and they achieve that with fine breads and condiments. There pulled pork covered in slaw on a brioche with some James river BBQ is mighty fine. I would also highly recommend the southwest chicken sandwich it's a panini pressed Parmesan ficcatia with chicken/roasted red peppers/cheese/and a sauce that alludes me. Their burgers are also very good and the toppings choice is excellent. Sides here are good but not home made so keep your expectations in check about them. read more

Stopped in for a late lunch today. Friendly staff, super clean environment. My husband got a burger, I got a Turkey Avocado BLT, and we shared a small fry. The fries came out first and were a perfect crispiness, but lacked any seasoning. Nothing a little salt and ketchup didn't fix. This would be a five-star review, if it hadn't been for the burger. My husband loved the brioche roll and said the vegetables were very fresh, but the burger was overcooked. They never asked him how he wanted it, and he realized that AFTER he ordered it, but figured most places go for medium if not specified, and he would have been okay with that, even though he prefers medium rare. This burger was definitely well done. My sandwich was really very good. The grilled sourdough bread was excellent, and as with my husband's burger, my ingredients were very fresh. It came with a chipotle sauce and banana peppers, so it had a little zing. It was not skimpy or overstuffed, just the right amount. Long ago and far away there was the Hilltop Convenience Store in Windham, run by Frank and Neal. They had a very good deli, with excellent sandwiches and a lot of salads and such that Neal made in the back. Eventually Frank and Neal went off to greener pastures, and the place changed hands a couple of times. None of them even came close to Frank and Neal. 33 Hilltop has brought a really good sandwich shop back to Windham. Excellent sandwiches with a variety of topping choices. Boars Head meats. Efficient service and fair prices. It's great to have a place like this back in town. If they just served their subs on freshly-made French bread like Frank used to, the place would be perfect. read more

My go to in windham for a quick meal! Everything we have tried from here is great. Highly recommend.

This is a nice place to go when some of my other spots are closed on Mondays. I usually get a burger with onion rings. My only complaint is no matter how many times I order the burger rare it always comes out well done. I choose not to complain to them because I hate being that guy. The burger is never dry so I don't feel like it is worth the battle. The place is very clean. The staff is mostly friendly. I think it is mostly family run which is a plus. They have a large enough menu and high chairs for the kids. Overall I will repeat coming here, but can't say I will go drastically out of my way to come. read more
