Came to Bar 17 Grill for lunch a few weeks ago with a party of 6. It was busy. The servers were great and were very friendly and attentive. I ordered the chicken cordon bleu special with squash and mashed potatoes, and it was honestly excellent. I was a little skeptical ordering something like that at more of a bar style spot, but it was flavorful, cooked perfectly, and seasoned really well. Bar 17 Grill opened recently in Seabrook. This local tavern offers a full service bar with seating offering a few beers on tap, mixed drinks, and cocktails plus several flatscreen TVs. There are also several tables and high top tables along the walls surrounding the bar plus a piano and music performance area in the corner. As for the food, they offer pizzas (12"), calzones, pasta dishes, 8" subs, salads, chicken fingers, wings, fries, and onion rings, kids menu, and daily specials. The prices here seem pretty reasonable, most items $5-$13.50. However, it's cash only here, ATM available. I stopped in here recently for dinner after work. The place was moderately busy on a Monday evening, but I took a seat at an open high top table. The bartender quickly came over and handed me a menu. I quickly decided on the special Broccoli Rabe Sausage Pasta ($13), which came out hot in 7 minutes. The linguine pasta was cooked soft tossed with fresh broccoli rabe and two very firm Italian sausages, oil and lots of chopped garlic. I smothered my pasta dish with grated parmesan cheese for a tasty dinner. I also placed a takeout order for a 12" Meatball Pizza ($7.50). which was topped with tomato sauce, ample slices of meatball and melted cheese on a soft firm thin crust. The check for one was $22.24 with tax and before tip. Overall, the food here was pretty good. The service here was prompt and attentive with refills on the much needed ice water with lemon given to me. read more

Recently opened restaurant. We have already been there many times and never disappoints. The bacon, meatball pizza is outstanding! French fries are as good as McDonald's! Chicken parmigiana also excellent. Ice cold beer on tap! Prices are extremely reasonable. Only problem is pizza's only come in one size but enough for two. read more

Two of us met from out of state here Thursday. Maybe a dozen or so people in the place when we arrived at 4:04PM. Lots of empty glasses on the bar, but some people were checking out. Obviously mostly regulars. Sat at the end of the bar where the help had to go by us frequently. Not once did anyone make eye contact or offer service, even though they twice picked up the counter at the seat next to me. I guess their party outfits for later were more important. In our opinion, very shitty help, so the two of us made the decision to leave at 4:30 after they walk by us again to bring drinks to two new tables of patrons. This place is find... reminds me of several places from Worcester where they give you great food, friendly service live music and you can play keno! Prices can't be beat... Tried to support a local business while in town, but this place gives no effort. After waiting almost 20 minutes for an appetizer and onion rings, they finally put my food under the heat lamp only to have it sit another 10 minutes before being served to me. Place had 2 tables and 6 people at bar so it wasn't because they were busy. Watched both servers ignore the food waiting to be served multiple times. Food was obviously not good after sitting there. They offered to replace it but didn't have another 25 plus minutes to wait. Was offered an I'm sorry to cover them wasting my time, money and serving me chewy, bland food. read more

Finally stopped in last night! Wow service was good-wine cold and a nice size pour-menu was very reasonably priced so I had my doubts BUT happy to say the food was delicious! Stopped in at Bar 17 Grill. Kind of a nice neighborhood bar feeling. Enjoyed interacting with the staff who were super friendly and welcoming. The food was good and reasonably priced but my husband and I both would have liked a little more seasoning. It was a little noisy with the patrons and the huge fans, but hey - it's a hot summer.
