This place was across the street from my hotel. The previous reviews are pretty much spot on. There is no "wow" factor. Of course, I didn't have the full experience. I ordered something to go. But I knew it was going to be average when I didn't get a spoon that would allow me to eat my soup. I guess they wanted me to just drink it from the cup. So I had to walk back in and get some plasticware for my meal. I got a spoon that allowed me to eat the clam chowder. It was ok. Tasted more like something you would get from a grocery store. At least it was hot. I also got the Shepard's Pie Egg Rolls. Again, just ok. The filling was lacking seasoning. The egg roll itself was soggy and could have been crispier. It cam with a side of gravy, which was also ok. It wasn't a brown gravy, though. Oh well. Like I said, it was just ok. read more

I should have posted a review a while back since I'm good for going to Logans a few times a month...Hint, Hint! This is the best local sports pub/family restaurant in Hampton. Nothing fancy about the food menu other than it's simple, tasty & affordable. They have good daily specials & usually have a very good soup or stew to try. My favorite menu item is the Greek Chicken Pita Pocket. The bartenders & servers are friendly and prompt. They have a good draft beer selection and make a very decent drink whatever your drink may be. A great place to hang out on Sunday to watch the game while you have a beer, burger & fries. If you want decent service you should sit at the bar. Even though the dining room is never really that busy the service isn't great. All the food is actually pretty good the only thing I wouldn't get is the country fried chicken. This is our second visit here. We sit in the bar area for convenience. There are many flat screen tv's to watch just about every sport you're wanting to see. The windows make it bright and sunny during the day, but when it's cold, sitting near the windows can be tricky. They are drafty. Food is excellent. We got lucky and the French Dip was made from a wonderful prime rib meat. The country fried chicken is coated with a batter of ridged potato chips. Wasn't quite sure about it, when I ordered it, but it was juicy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. A great combination. Mashed potatoes are made fresh along with French fries, or so it seems. Delicious. Fresh squash and zucchini was cooked perfect. The Bartender was hard at work, but he was on top of the 40+ people in the bar area. Impressive. Thanks for a great meal. We will return! If there's something close to Cheers in Hampton, it's Logan's Run. Long bar with multiple TVs make it a great place to watch sports. A robust and well attended social calendar including live bands, trivia, etc. makes this a popular place on off nights. Standing room only come Friday afternoon. This places has a LOT of regulars. Top notch bar food from pizza to wings, sandwiches to prime rib. This is NOT gourmet. But it os good food, large portions, and the price is right. Daily specials include a $7 burger and fries on Monday, Taco Tuesday, Wing Wednesday, something on Thursday ($3.50 drafts?), and a $9.99 fish fry on Friday. Pizza is decent. Love their meatball subs - they're homemade. I judge my bars by how the drinks are mixed. And this place is legit. Joann on the weekday shift is a personal hero of mine. All the staff is great. Came in a couple times with the boyfriend and I now find myself craving the Caesar salad with buffalo chicken. The large salad is a meal, and the buffalo chicken doesn't taste like any other I've had as it is both sweet and spicy, but it is delicious. Boyfriend loves the pizza, and we also like to split the chocolate peanut butter pie and down a couple of cocktails. We were a group of 6 on a Tuesday evening. Their specials are 3 types of Tacos and fries for I think 7.99 or less. Drink specials are posted on their website . We sat in the bar area which I would call a basic pub. It's nothing fancy. It's clean and there appear to be TVs wherever you look. By 5:30 the place got very busy. Our server was great and handled all our requests. Some ordered tacos, salads, chili etc. I decided on a half portion of nachos. When my " appetizer" arrived I thought there's been a mistake. The half portion was HUGE! Anyway it had all sorts of wonderful ingredients... But what I felt was the highlight were what appeared to be house made tortilla chips. . they were excellent. Each diner had something different and said their meals were excellent. And definitely not the basic heat & serve fare one usually gets at a chain... I'm not knocking chain restaurant - they have their place. Anyway, it was a pleasant surprise to learn they were going to start a musical bingo game. Everyone got ready to play and our table ended up winning 2 rounds. Great fun! Separate checks were not as problem . And I'll mention again that our server was wonderful. We will definitely go back. Okay, we had dinner there the other night. Two had their clam chowder and Caesar salad, one had the burger, three had the Mediterranean pizza. All were very pleased with their choice. Burgers are big and cooked as requested, fries are crispy. Chowder had a great taste. Pizza was good. Service was very good. Very casual dinning. My reason for only four stars is that I ,and only I, felt the thin crust of the pizza was a little more burnt than I like. First time here, we were visiting from RI. We were staying across the street at the Best Western Plus and the front desk will give you a 10% off the bill so that was cool. We missed the happy hour which was from 3 -6pm and they had 50 cent wings all night. We sat at our table away from everyone like we were the bad kids. Didn't bother me however my husband wasn't very happy. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. My kids ordered a bacon cheeseburger. They weren't that crazy about it, my daughter said Applebee's burgers are better (which they do have pretty good burgers). My husband got the seafood platter and I did the half and half (scallops and haddock) you get to choose what you want. I asked for sweet potato fries with mine and my meal came with regular fries. Waitress brought me sweet potato fries once I told her, unfortunately I did not like them and had like 5 fries. The seafood plates did come with a lot of seafood and definitely filled you up. Now I understand why the rating was so low... I ordered steak tips with fries as replacements but as you can see in the picture, fries were soggy. I was not Surprised.
