Was in the area looking at the furniture stores and thought we would grab a bite to eat at Red's Kitchen. In the nice weather they have a great outdoor area for dining as well. Plenty of booths and bar seating. My daughter and I ordered drinks. I ordered the Turkey Dinner, my husband a pizza with green pepper and pepperoni and my daughter the Hawaiian Bowl. My grandson got chicken wings. All of the entrees were delicious. My husband said the pizza was very good. Ate it all. I had to take the rest of my turkey dinner home. We didn't opt for dessert but will be returning for another trip. read more

I've resisted this review....we've been several more times and the meals have been less than 3 stars. Service is always good but food has been lacking. French onion soup came barely warm, cheese barely melted.....server noticed, and called the kitchen out she knew what happened. Ordered the seafood casserole, scallops were cold and rubbery..... "haddock" was barely flavorful and shrimp were ok. Dish wasn't served in a casserole dish, just dumped onto the plate. Reds....you guys were an awesome chance to have some drinks and an amazing dinner.....your become less then the 99 kind of place....please do better read more

Their specials pizzetti months ago was better than the regular pizza crust. Can't say much for the sliced meatballs on pizza, kind of meh. So was the short rib shepherds pie. The meat was way better on the pizzetti and the pie was kind of tasteless. The Caesar salad is yummy and has great croutons. The food is fresh but I wouldn't re-order the entrees again. If this is a diner, it will pass. The imported cakes are diner quality too. Staff is very friendly though someone at the front smells like cigarettes a bit. I hope they can get more inspired as to the flavor component on their menu. read more

Went last night w/a party of 8. Server was very friendly & appropriately attentive. The ambiance was of a classy local pub, live music and not too loud even for a Saturday night 7:30-10:45pm. The drinks were yummy & everyone was happy with their meals. Reasonably priced, yummy, good quality dishes. A friend & I each ordered the Red's burger & we both agreed it was juicy & delicious!! Mine was cooked a perfect true medium rare, maybe slightly more to the rare end, which I prefer (most places tend to over cook) and my friend's was a perfect medium. Excellent place - a couple friends in our party had recommended from their trip to the area last year - we all agreed it was an excellent choice! May be back next year! read more

This review is biased because I love Red's. I've been going to the Salem location since before I was born. The fam goes to this location instead these days; I insisted upon it the day after my birthday, for obvious reasons. We had plenty of space for four adults and two children, and no one seemed to mind us walking the kids around the restaurant (it was early and not crowded). Service was awesome. This location has a welcoming vibe, which is to be expected. I ordered what I've been ordering for years: a Belgian waffle with strawberries and whipped cream, bacon, and home fries. Everything was excellent. A new addition for me was the pineapple passion mimosa, which was strong and delicious. Aside from nostalgia, I see why my sister frequents this place. Most of the menu is pretty good, however, the fried chicken was the worst meal I have ever had at a restaurant. Overcooked dark meat. I couldn't eat it. The cooks don't know what a medium rare burger should be cooked to. Have ordered cheeseburgers two times and both were raw. I mean raw! They had to be sent back, something I've only done twice in 45 years at other establishments. A few of the host staff are friendly but the majority appear as if they don't want to be there. Had a wonderful waitress last night with exemplary service. The restaurant was busy and the bar was full with Fred Ellsworth playing live music. He was phenomenal as always, and funny. The food came out quick and everything was delicious. The Baba Ghanoush special was a nice switch up but an extra slice of bread or 2 would help finish the deliciousness on the plate. The cobb salad my gf got with chicken looked amazing and she loved it. I enjoyed buffalo wings and a cheese pizza which were both good. The best part of the 5 star trip was the service by our waitress. Very thoughtful, considerate, patient, and pleasant waitress. I wish i remembered her name for a shoutout!! read more

Pretty much live at the Danvers location, its a staple in our family, great breakfast, great drinks... Great everything. So when we heard they were opening one in Seabrook, we were over the moon ( I live in Everett, Ma but grocery shop in Seabrook NH weekly - no judging I prefer the 30 min drive than to shop at the Chelsea, Market Basket, LOL) So we stopped in and the place has that super Red's vibe, great open space, bright & welcoming, Menu is similar there are TOO many options and you always want everything. First time here and we sat right at the bar, where we were graded promptly. The bartender, Simone, was so friendly and guided us right through. We started with the candied bacon, which was a hit! I ordered the broiled seafood dinner, and he ordered the steak tips. His steak tips melted in my mouth! A charred crust outside, and melt in your mouth inside. I don't even think we needed a steak knife. I had to pass on the potato, but I had double veg, and they were cooked perfectly al dente. She came back with a dessert menu, but we opted to drink a dessert. I got the Mandarin martini (tasted like a chocolate covered orange) and he got the Mexi-tini (did an espresso martini made with tequila). While running an errand in NH, we were in need of breakfast. This place's parking lot was busy, and reviews seemed decent, so we gave them a shot. Unfortunately, after a great start with our server, Stephanie, and phenomenal drinks, it went all downhill. We ordered the western omelet and on the menu of specials of the day (they open at 7 and we were in there by 950 AM), hubs opted for the sausage biscuits and gravy. Of note, there were three menus given to us, and all had breakfast items different than the other and was confusing. Anyhoo, after waiting for 20 minutes and watching other tables receive their food before us; Stephanie came to our table to inform us that when she was checking the status of our order, she learned there were no sausage and biscuits! We asked for the menu again, and a very frustrated hubby decided on 2 eggs and bacon. Less than ten minutes later, our order was brought to us by someone, not in uniform, so I am guessing she was management of some sort. She did not acknowledge the error or the wait. As we dug in, because we were starving at this point, we realized the home fries were burnt and charred, lacking any seasoning or flavor as well. The eggs were well undercooked; he asked for over easy. These were not correct! When Stephanie checked on us again, I let her see the problems and asked that she remove the plates. We left very dissatisfied with our time at Red's and will not be returning. This is in no way Stephanie's fault; she was great. But the kitchen failed epically, and management missed a huge opportunity to make things right, if not a bit better. What a shame! read more

I tried this restaurant for the first time last night . It's a nice place but extremely loud . They were quick to seat us and the waitress was very nice . We ordered our drinks and she brought rolls which were like rocks . We decided to try the pizza In which we asked if it was Italian or Greek pizza . She came back said Greek so we changed our mind and then she came back and said the manager said Italian . I should have gone with my gut and ordered something else. But instead we went with the meatball and ricotta pizza . I immediately knew when it came it was not Italian needless to say after 1 bite each we returned it. Barely any sauce and extremely garlicky. I came with my family to Red's this past weekend for an early Father's Day celebration. Tip: on Sunday's at least, they don't serve lunch until 1pm. We got to the restaurant at 12:30 and all they had was breakfast, which was our fault for not checking the hours! We got a bunch of different items including the blueberry french toast, strawberries and cream french toast, omelette, and breakfast potatoes. The french toasts were less like typical french toast and more like pieces of cake or bread. We really enjoyed them with syrup, without them, they were a little dry. Super filling so you'll definitely have leftovers! The omelette was not a favorite. I'd recommend passing on that. Breakfast potatoes were a little bland but not bad! Overall, i'd come back to Red's but hopefully for lunch next time :) read more

Great place! Jack is the one of the bartenders. Jack is a local favorite. Great personality and friendly. I happen to be there for breakfast and a patron was having difficulty and possibly choking. The beers are cold and the dessert martinis make it hard to say no. This place has it all. Great location, good menu. Prices are such that the "shrimp cocktail sauce" should NOT come in a plastic cup. Not to mention it didn't when shrimp was delivered. Then only one cup.
