One of the best pancakes I've ever had, and I'm a very picky pancake eater, perfect thickness , perfect crispy edges, butter flavor, fresh fruit . They had their own real maple syrup which was better than any one I've ever tried that was t fake processed syrup . Had the perfect taste. The breakfast sandwiches were great and flavorful . The hash was cooked great. I like that they had an upstairs outdoor patio and bar and an indoor one downstairs . The place was cute We got hot on the upstairs patio and the bartender was kind enough to turn on a fan for us . I even got lucky enough to take home some extra maple syrup . Ragnar Relay ends in Hampton Beach, NH and we were done running so finally time for a real meal and we found this spot. Parking is hard in the area but we eventually found a lot. They were busy on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch but we only had to wait about 15 min. Chill place that has dollar bills everywhere. I never quite figured out the dollar bill thing because we saw the same thing at a pizza joint somewhere else in NH. When I say everywhere, it really is everywhere. Every inch of wall space inside is covered with a dollar bill. The first meal after running almost 18 miles over 3 legs in 24 hours is glorious. All 6 of us in pure silence just inhaling food. The Goat used to be one of our go-to spots, but unfortunately, it just didn't live up to expectations this year. The host seemed pretty unorganized, he offered us bar seats that didn't exist, and when some finally opened up, he gave them away to someone else out of order. I actually had to point out a table that was ready to be cleared just to get us seated. I do appreciate that they text you when your table's ready, but the overall seating process was frustrating. The ambiance is usually a plus, but watching the news on three giant TVs during Sunday breakfast wasn't exactly the vibe we were hoping for. Our waitress clearly didn't want to be there and made us feel like we were a bother just by ordering. Not much to choose from for brunch coffees, just hot, iced, and one boozy option. I expected more from a place that serves breakfast and brunch. A little menu or drink list would've been helpful. I had the bagel sandwich with avocado, tomato, egg, and cheese. It was okay, but the bagel tasted like a plain Lenders bagel from the grocery store. Homefries were burned and had no flavor. My wife had a basic breakfast, scrambled eggs (super salty), homefries, and an English muffin and even that didn't impress, especially for $10. Sadly, The Goat just isn't what it used to be. Food quality and service have both gone downhill. We even skipped their buy one, get one burgers because honestly, it didn't feel worth it even for free. So sad I have been getting the salads here for years and they always came with a good amount of steak that match's the massive salad. They have since change there portions to a 1/4 of what they use to. With the up charge I might as well not even get it's hopefully they fix this or just charge a little more to at least match the salad and not just a bite steak. read more

Great spot to have a Sunday funday. Brunch is their best offering. We go here at least monthly. We get everything from the mimosas to the whiskey drinks. Everything is well made. I get the breakfast shot and it hits the spot every-time. The breakfast food is always good. The burgers and tots are also very good. The dinner menu is just OK. I would definitely recommend this as more of a brunch spot than a dinner spot. The ambiance is unique. The walls are lined with signed dollar bills. This was the third time we had gone to the goat, all three were good this last time was the best, the Rancho burger was great and mac and cheese was too, the sting onions rings are addictive. Excellent Brunch spot! Build your own bloody Mary's were very well priced and so much fun! We sat on the second level and our waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. At 10:30am there was no wait and the second deck wasn't too loud or overwhelming (we all thought the first floor was overwhelming between the decor and noise). Started with the bacon bucket and there was a lot more bacon in it than we initially thought! So well prepared and thick cut! About a two minute walk from the main strip... It's very small on the inside. We came mid-April for lunch on a Saturday and was surprised how busy it was. I can only imagine how packed this place gets during the summer. Anyways, service was great. Both bartenders were friendly and one offered a marker + tape so we could hang our dollar bill on the ceiling. As for the food... IMO it wasn't up to par with the Manchester location but still good. The nacho appetizer was disappointing as the pulled pork on top was lukewarm and there was hardly cheese/toppings under the top layer. My BLT and fiancés burger were both good. Was a cool place but not if you want service in under an hour, look elsewhere. We were seated about 5 min after arrival (no line just no one seating people) and our order taken quickly. Drinks were quick but It almost took an hour to get a grilled cheese and onion straws. And they got the order wrong. Three bread choices and they gave me the wrong one. My husband and I went to dinner tonight, walking in you could tell it was pretty busy. I've worked as a bartender for over 20 years. Tyson was behind the bar, you could tell he was struggling alone, mentioned someone else was supposed to be working...restaurant business lol. They have cream on the tables for coffee that's expired and they leave them on the table even though they are expired because "my boss told me to". The food was ok but the breakfast menu online is completely different than the menu at restaraunt. This place is so hit or miss and this will be my last attempt. I ordered a cosmo...no way this was a cosmo! Red in color and tasted like a cheap fruit punch. Nothing had any flavor. Queso special had 0 flavor and was so watery it wouldn't stick to the chips. No one liked their meal. I had a chicken quesadilla and it was so bland it was unreal. We were so excited to try this place. I have never been so disappointed. We put our name in last night and we were told it would be 40 minutes. When the 40 minutes was about up, we received a text message stating they would be unable to see us because they were closing the kitchen in 20 minutes. Tonight we put in our name and waited an additional 20 minutes after the 45 minute wait time we were originally given. Our food took forever. There were 9 of us. 6 got our food while the other 3 waited an additional 12 minutes. When we asked about it we were told the restaurant was only allowed to put up to 6 people per ticket and had to be submitted as separate orders. Of course 2 of the 3 were children. That was fun. The third had ordered tacos and when they arrive were barely lukewarm. My water tasted like a Band-Aid so I ordered a soda instead. When the bill came, we were charged for "bottled water." It most certainly was not bottled water. We were also charged two dollars for ranch dressing and an additional two dollars for blue cheese for the two orders of wings that we ordered. All the food arrived lukewarm and my skillet corn was burnt and cold. The kids "mini waffles" was one very small waffle with a couple slices of bacon. All while this was happening, our waitress was standing around chatting with some guy at the table next to us. We definitely will not be returning. read more

my family was visiting the area and looking for a place to eat. we placed an order to pick up and they gave us an hour and 30 minute wait time. my wife went to pick up the order and upon arriving, she found part of the order missing and when she asked about it, she was told that they ran out of the meat. they didn't call to let us know so we could substitute, they just didn't fill the order and weren't going to say anything but still charge us. my wife waited another 45 minutes at the restaurant after placing a replacement order. she arrives back at our hotel she then notices another item had been missing. my wife called the restaurant and they were just very unprofessional and didn't seem to care. if making a choice for a place to eat, go somewhere else. outside of this whole fiasco, the food wasn't great, could taste that they didn't use fresh ingredients and everything just had an off taste. read more

We went for brunch on a Saturday morning. It was misty outside but the outdoor area was well covered and we were able to still sit outside and enjoy it. Got an awesome Bloody Mary and the Goat Hash with home fries and scrambled eggs. I got the cheese on the side and glad I did. It was super good but I wouldn't have wanted my food bathing in it. Our favorite place in Hampton Beach. We went here 3 of the 4 days we were here. We loved the whole vibe here. Reminds me of a Key West bar inside. Always a great crowd, great food and great service. Every single thing we ate was delicious; from the burgers, shaved steak sandwich, breakfast, wings and the soup flight is a great concept and all 3 soups were fantastic. Can't say enough about this place. We were here four days from RI and can't wait to come back!! Last, but certainly not least, we can't say enough about Jessica. She was amazing and made everything that much better and would go back for drinks whenever in town just to see her. The place was always packed and they pump out the food. The entire staff is attentive, always checking on you and everyone was beyond welcoming and pleasant. HOLY PORTIONS, BATMAN! Sorry, just had to start out that way to get your attention because if you don't come here hungry you're probably in trouble. It was a beautiful day so we opted for a table outside (also found out it was dog friendly so we brought the pup! Bonus points for that!! ) and got to enjoy some live music on a truck. While we always appreciate local live talent, it was a tad louder than we would've liked but whatever. It didn't ruin the experience or anything. Just figured I'd mention it. Love bars that have the dollar bill fengshui. It's a fun way of telling a story of all the people who have come to visit from around the country - world, maybe? We took a minute to laugh at some of the ones posted near our table. Food was great. Asked for med rare burger and it came out more medium (again, whatever, flavor was all still there). I ordered food to go ,(crispy wings was my order) she forgot to ring in my order , so waited 15 more minutes . I ask for extra blue cheese . I walk home no blue cheese in bag . She only gave me one sauce once I walked back inside and as I'm walking I taste the sauce and it's buttermilk ranch . The food going out to tables all looked so delicious and tasty as did ours ( nachos, teriyaki chicken wings, mac and cheese, build your own chicken sandwich, and the steak sub). However out of a party of four we all described our food as tasteless and bland. We were disappointed because everything presented as mouth watering until you tasted it and no actual flavors for any of it and the fries were floppy and lifeless.
