I've only been once so far but that won't be for long. Definitely going back for more. I had the fish sandwich and it was delicious. Made with fresh flakey haddock on a brioche bun. The fries were fantastic too. We sat at a the bar which was busy, a good sign. The bartender served us and was super friendly. I didn't get a great good look at the ambiance but clean casual. The good news we were warmly greeted abs told to take our choice of seats. The waitress took our drink orders and food orders and then we waited..... for over an hour. We watched food come out of the kitchen but not ours. The waitress apologized but still no food. Then she came out again apologizing. Told us there was a new chef. They would comp our food and we would just pay for drinks. . That wasn't the point. We finally got our food. We had ordered the burger specials. It was very good. Just very late. As We got our bill, three women came in, ordered and got their food before our check was processed. It made no sense. read more

Food was good - upcharged to sweet potato fries and did not like them - asked to replace with regular fries and wanted to charge me?? Then instead of just taking the charge off the owner or chef comes out to talk to me about it...I thought I was doing them a favor by not asking for the extra money I paid for the sweet potato fries...wont be back in again...will go to the Tuna Striker - never had issues like that there...Server was nice, but she should have clarified that she was charging me for the fries, since I noted I wanted them because I did not like the sweet potato fries...bad customer service!!! read more

Five stars well deserved but I doubt I'll be back. First, Ari, our server was fantastic, friendly, attentive and efficient. The manager that seemed to be in charge was likewise impressive. The food was great, my wife loved her haddock and my chicken finger plate with onion rings was stupendous. The dumplings we got to go were quite good as well. We each had a couple glasses of wine, a very generous pour. My problem is I hate live music. The deafening acoustics that make simple chit chat impossible is not for me but it seems others enjoyed it. Ninety dollar tab with a $4O tip seemed like a good deal given the service and the food. This place was a nice little surprise! The atmosphere is pretty much what you would expect from a beach town grill, but the people that work there are great and really elevate it. The food was reasonably priced, the presentation is excellent, and the quality of the cooking is spot on. The service was very good, with the server offering prompt and attentive service. Went to dinner last night at Beach Deck Barbecue - first time back since their post-fire renovation. Beautiful cozy beach atmosphere. Had the Texas Burger Special - delicious huge burger topped with chili and an onion ring. The French Fries were served piping hot and crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside -perfect! My wife had the half rack of ribs. She never eats all of them, but these were fall-off-the-bone delicious, so there were no leftovers this time. There's a beautiful deck overlooking the Seabrook marshes too. Friendly and efficient staff and great food make this a perfect place to have a nice dinner while at beautiful Seabrook Beach. read more

Pulled pork Carolina was pretty good! Service was what you would expect in a Beach town. Not great but not bad. I think the owners were there and just being warm with regulars. So if you're not - don't expect any niceties. I didn't go there to make friends - so I was good with that. Clean enough although silverware was not that clean at the table. I've grown tired of dining at places up the beach that serve mediocre food, with steep prices. Thank you Yelp for steering us towards this place. The Beach Deck BBQ is one of those places that's easy to miss, hanging off the side of a convenience store on a stretch of road that beach goers usually pass right over. But this place is well worth the visit. The menu isn't huge. Your standard BBQ stuff along with some standards - Ribs, Pulled Pork, BBQ Chicken, Burgers, Chili, Wings, Wraps, Salads, and a few kids items. We ordered at the window, and then headed out back to wait for our order. Around the back side of the building there six or so tables sitting out on a partially covered deck. The area was VERY clean and inviting. The food came quickly and was very tasty. Our party ordered, the Pulled Pork Sandwich, the Carolina Pulled Pork Sandwich, a Lobster Roll, Hot Dog, two kids plates (Chicken fingers), and some corn bread. Overall it the food was very good. My only complaint would be that the Carolina Pulled Pork had too much sauce on it - and that complaint comes from someone that is a huge sauce guy. Next time I will either ask for less sauce or order something else. While we were eating a man, who I guess to be the owner stopped by to check on us to see if we were happy with our food. We gave him a nod of satisfaction. Some items worth noting: There's a condiment station out back that includes ketchup, sauces, and napkins. I took a step into the bathroom to wash my hands. This was the cleanest bathroom I have EVER seen up the beach, hands down. Lastly, The bill for three adults and two kids was well under $50. Try doing that at many of the other places in the area... As a born and raised South Carolinian, let me tell you that this is authentic BBQ. My wife and I stopped by here on our way home from Portsmouth after searching for BBQ places on here. Needless to say, we made an excellent choice. The food was incredible, the staff extremely friendly and it was awesome eating on the back deck on such a gorgeous day. We had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich, Carolina pulled pork sandwich, corn on the cob, a sweet potato, chips and two drinks for only $23. Absolutely worth it and we're stuffed. We have tried just about every menu item and found the food quality has always been consistent. The deck on the bay side of Seabrook is clean, comfortable and always seems to have a nice breeze. They allow BYOB and the deck was nice to eat on. The pulled pork was good but the smoked chicken was a big hit! The lobster roll was tasty but portion size was little to be desired. But you're not going to a BBQ place for a lobster roll anyway. The fresh squeezed lemonade was a perfect accompaniment to any BBQ plate. Went for dinner last night. Waitress seated us and put a bottle of ketchup on the table and said she would bring us menus. Well, after waiting a few minutes for the menu we got up and got them ourselves. Ordered a cup of coffee that was DISGUSTING. Tasted like it was sitting there all day. She finally came back with our drink order. We ordered dinner. 3 of the 4 of us asked for fries and only one got them. They put another order in for the fries but we didn't get them until we were done with our dinner. So I guess you can say we had fries for dessert. Oh another thing. A couple came in after us and got served right away. They had their dinner before we even ordered ours. We will DEFINITELY not be back. Food was not even tasty. read more
