We were pleasantly surprised with Point Break on a recent visit with friends. When I think dining on Hampton Beach, my mind turns to pizza and fried dough. This was a nice changeup with casual comfort food. Think pizza, burgers and the like. The dining room is nice, open air out front with outside tables, a big bar and a fun surfer/beach theme. The hostess first tried to bring us to the far back corner of the restaurant and I knew we would not like feeling so isolated from the rest of the diners, so we asked if we could sit elsewhere, and she was quite agreeable. I had my eye on their Mai Tai with a honey foam top, which brought me right back to Hawaii where MonkeyPod restaurant does a similar rendition with a lilikoi foam topping. Point Break served a tasty and potent version. We didn't order apps, but my Mac & Cheese was very good. Seemed that everybody was very happy with their food as well. Fried haddock, pulled pork and a nice salad. Our server was great, and quickly handled one mistake (a full dinner was served instead of a sandwich, and so he brought out the fries which came with the sandwich). Perhaps the only real negative is parking, which is tricky at the south end of Hampton Beach. There is plenty of resident parking nearby, but otherwise you might have to walk a bit to get to a paid parking spot or lot. Give them a try! We don't visit this part of the beach often and rarely for dinner, but we might make an exception to try this spot again. read more

It was very busy for the opening night (apparently there was a line outside at opening time and it stayed that busy!) but service was still friendly and efficient. The ambiance is clean, spacious and beautiful. The food-- I can't say enough! The burrata is delicious, tomato mix especially, and the shrimp tacos were the best I've ever had, hands down!!! The crowning achievement was the peaches and cream dessert, which again, was next level. Incredible little gem on Hampton beach, I'm sure to be back again and again! read more

The food was very average, nothing terrible for sure, Menu is limited and is redundant with certain products. Service was, well, terrible. Very charming young lady that had no idea how dinner service works. Clearly untrained and raw. The other runners, greeters, etc, were basically nonchalant and unfriendly. I hope they improve, no place to go but up IMHO read more

Food was UNREAL! We split the margarita & pepperoni pizza with a side of fries. Everything was SO GOOD. The staff is super friendly & attentive. Ambiance 10/10 - think classy, but beachy, but also affordable. I loved the little details such as the color of the plates matching the wall. You can tell a lot of love was put into this renovation. Honestly, I've been coming to Hampton Beach since I was little & Point Break isn't even comparable to the other restaurants on the strip. The pepperoni pizza is a must have. The chicken sandwich looked unreal too! Highly recommend. read more

visited over Memorial Day weekend and we loved it! Went with a larger group that included children and were seated promptly. Our group shared 3 different types of pizzas and the brussell sprout appetize....all were very delicious. My son ordered the honey glazed fried chicken sandwich and said it was one of the best he's ever had (I stole a bite and agree with him). We also enjoyed some of the cocktails and they were delicious. The staff was top notch and attentive even with it being a busy holiday weekend. We were all very impressed and plan on returning several times this summer! read more
