Outstanding customer service. When my delivery arrived missing a main ingredient from one of the items I ordered, I called to let them know. Not only did they remake the entree, but they doubled the missing ingredient from the original order and delivered it within an hour. The weather was terribly cold and windy, but the lovely gentleman was so kind and apologetic. He even included free fried dough with icing! To go above and beyond like that, just to rectify the situation, was so generous. And my son was thrilled with the surprise dessert. read more

We split a small meat lovers pizza and a garden salad. Both were delicious! The pizza was crispy crust and lots of meat. The salad was huge. The service was excellent. June 2025: Yesterday we ordered for takeout the great buffalo chicken finger pizza reviewed below a couple or so years ago. This time around the buffalo sauce seemed just the same and very good, but the chicken appeared to have no or almost no batter and was quite sparse on the pizza. In the past, two slices were very, very filling and a large would easily feed four. Unfortunately, the pizza we got last night almost feed three. There was much less chicken, and it appeared not to be battered. I called today, just now, to report our disappointment and find out if we got the correct pizza. I thought maybe they had a buffalo chicken pizza, without the batter on the chicken (maybe a grilled chicked), a lighter pizza. But I was told there is only one and we got it. I expressed my disappointment with the amount of chicken and lack of batter. I was told sometimes the batter falls off as the pizza is prepared, and that the pizza has not changed. I assured him the pizza we had last night was not the same, not close. He told me it had not changed and that if I had called last night I might he might be able to help me, but the next day is too late to call for a concern or complaint. Yeah, it is not bad, but it is no longer exceptional. I am not surprised they seem not nearly as busy as they used to be. My wife and I do not order out much, and there is a lot of competition, so we are unlikely to be back. Original review... I had a slice of buffalo chicken finger pizza, it was one of the best local Greek House of pizza style I've ever had. Few weeks later wifey and I ordered one and confirmed - it was fantastic. A few weeks after that we ordered a Nick's special and found it to be good, but not great. The atmosphere is typical pizza joint, nothing special. Service is order at the counter they'll bring it to your table, and it is typical. 20 oz bottled soda and water for about $3 with tax. They are very very busy, but pretty well staffed, but you might still have a wait. read more

We drive by Nick's Place a lot to get to Market Basket so finally we stopped for a bite to eat. I've always felt that 1st impressions are make or break for any type of food establishment & this place did not disappoint. The menu has ample selections of pizza, subs (hot or cold), calzones, sandwiches, dinner plates (seafood or pasta), salads & sides...almost too much to pick from. Our server was very polite & brought us two complimentary slices of cheese pizza while we waited for our order. Nice touch! I got a super roast beef sandwich with lettuce, tomato, onion & horseradish sauce on the side as well as some onion rings. My wife went with a cheese ravioli & eggplant pasta dish. Everything was very good. I think we'll try one of their many pizza selections next time around. So give Nick's Place a try for sit down or takeout & Enjoy! read more

Tonight. Day after Mother's Day. After several mixed personal reviews from people I trust. I made up my mind to give Nicks a try. Ive never been more disappointed in 64 years. I was very specific. Or at least I thought. When I order a super beef toast beef sandwich. With bbq sauce, horseradish and cheese.. Also I was under the impression it would be served hot. I got a cold roast beef sandwich with cheese. No bbq sauce. No horseradish sauce, and the onion roll seemed as if it had been specially rubberized. For a surprise I ordered my date an order of eggplant parmigiana.. It was disgusting. In the entire dish I'm told there was no more than two bites of eggplant.. And after taste testing it myself. The sauce tasted very similar to the crap that comes in a can at any Aldis store. Not only will I never return. I will beg and plead for my friends to pass on such an awful experience. read more

Ordered a cheese burger meal medium well with steak fries and potato salad for takeout. Burger was cooked medium rare (will not eat it), steak fries have about half a pound of salt on them, and my potato salad is pasta salad. I have been coming to Nicks Place for a while, I currently service two stores in New Hampshire, Seabrook and North Hampton, this is my halfway point to grab lunch! The Food is absolutely amazing, I have not yet had a bad meal, and I don't expect to have a bad meal anytime soon! It's Friday night April 26,2024 and I ordered a "cubano" sandwich from the Hampton Falls restaurant for dinner. A cubano sandwich comes with Ham, Cheese, pulled pork mayo, Mustard. veggies on a sub roll. What I received was cubes of stake with large chunks of tomato and onion on a sub roll. When I called the shop to discuss the mistake, I had to force the person to tell me the ingredients (listed above) . I then explained that the sandwich in front of me was NOT a Cubano. He then reluctantly agreed to make another and have it delivered to me. I told him I live in Exeter. He said someone would bring the sandwich. A moment after the call was ended someone claiming to be a "manager"called and tried to sell me the line that I was somehow wrong. I told him I had tasted one chunk of the meat, and it was in fact beef. He continued to argue with me in an effort to make the error somehow my fault. No replacement was ever provided nor was a refund offered. I have to give a star for this post to be accepted. This is not the first time the Hampton Falls store has messed up an order and tried to blame it on the customer. What happen to the "customer is always right" This shop needs job coaches to come in and teach them customer service skills and how to read, comprehend written and spoken English language. I have worked with people with Autism and Mental Retardation who have superior verbal command of the English language and customer service skills. This branch of Nick's Place is a disgrace to the brand and should be shut down so as to not cause further damage to the brand!!! read more

Nick's opened on Route 1 in Hampton Falls in the Spring and it was outstanding! The entrees are not inexpensive but you get what you pay for (portions are large)! The size of the menu is INCREDIBLE and everything we've ordered there over the past 5 months or so has been excellent! I don't know how they are able to provide consistent food quality over such a huge menu! The last couple of visits we've notices a complete changeover of the restaurant staff. The people we had come to know by sight were gone. Did Nick's sell this location? Very strange. The food quality hasn't suffered so far with the new staff. Time will tell. read more

Fantastic food! We've eaten there twice and ordered out once. All times the food was very delicious. Husband says the roast beef sandwich is the best he's ever had. Flavor, texture, etc of the meat is very consistent. I had the Gyro bowl. Tasty and filling! And I have to say the service is great. We all love this place! We have been going to their Salisbury place for years. So happy they are in Hampton Falls now. Won't be good for my waist line though. Everything we have tried there has been outstanding. My favorite is the fried chicken dinner. Comes with two huge sides of your choice. Pizza with hamburg and bacon is yummy. My first venture to this newly opened fast food restaurant. I called an order in for my family. Since this was a pick-up and not dine-in I opted out of a Fried Clam idea and will save that thought for a time when I'll eat there: I want these fresh out of the fryer! I opted in on the North Shore Roast Beef, Regular/Cheese/Mayo. I grew up on Supreme RB, Buffalo Bills, Bill&Bobs, RoyalHouse-Methuen. Nick's regular beef is served on a grilled sesame seed bun as it should be. Generous, perfectly cooked and warm roast beef. Could use a bit more mayo, but otherwise perfect. Note my son and friend tried the Super size w/Sauce: same comments and could've used more sauce. These held up well on the short drive home. Onion Rings the side: these are real rings of onions with a thicker breadcrumb type coating, where I prefer, or am accustomed to the thin flaky, greasy coating of the other places. But very good just the same and the larger/wider onion rings work best with this coating as it is rather thick. Thinly sliced onion's flavor gets lost in the coating. My wife is Celiac and her Gluten Free pizza was excellent. She really liked the crust and the puffy crust periphery like a wheat pizza will have - GF pizza's crust usually doesn't puff. She'll be eating more of these I'm sure. Digression: she eats restaurant GF pizza often and won't get the 'Oven's pie anymore as it is so inconsistent, sometimes served with hardly anything on it? Too bad for me as I love their wings:^( On arriving, it was dark out and I had a little trouble spotting the restaurant even though I knew about where it was located across from Dodge's Agway - could use better illumination on their sign and perhaps a few floodlights illuminating the parking lots. I think the big boss (Nick) was running the show and he was as nice as could be. Fast Service too: our order with pizza was ready about 20-25min after calling in. We'll be back. read more
