Located right above the beautiful Vino E Vivo restaurant (see prior review), it's the new HIT spot in Exeter. Only about 20 minutes or so from Portsmouth but a fun spot for cocktails, wine and dessert. Ambiance is chill with comfy bar seats, side tables and bartenders that can shake, sitr and whip up almost any cocktail to your liking. We did share their Amaro Flip which was fabulous. Sitting above sister restaurant Vino e Vivo, chefs Nick and Paul bring elevated small and large plates to this casual setting. Cocktails were great, as you might expect. Head bartender Chris has a creative list of cocktails and I'm sure could mix up anything else you might desire. We tried several small and large plates. Really hard to call out a favorite as they were all good. The Parsnip soup was creamy, rich and delicious with several touches such as crisped rice and basil oil on top that really made this a standout. Beet tartare was great as well with rich delicious beet flavor and texture reminiscent of beef tartare. Don't miss the cornbread with pork belly butter! Service is warm and friendly and chef Nick ran many of the dishes to the tables and bar personally. You could see (and taste) the passion he has for food. The lobster wrap was ok- the lobster was fresh which is the most important thing, but it will set you back $20something dollars. Also our waiter was super nice and efficient, so points for that too. So if you're looking to enjoy some drinks and enjoy the view with a few snacks then this is a good place for you. If your ravenously hungry and want to have a great lunch then I would look elsewhere.

Wally has taken on deceptive business practices this year for their wings special. You used to have…read moreto order one drink and got refills with the wings that you bought 1,2, or 3 baskets. This year they charge you for each refill, pack the smaller cups with ice so there's almost no soda in them, and they have cut the size of the wings in half from a normal order. That's not so bad but scamming the customer on soda that cost them maybe $.20 to produce from a syrup and municipal water is not cool. Won't be going back. Goats quality is hit or miss depending on chef. Also checking on wing policy for me a different answer in manchester Newburyport and Wally's Hampton. No where is it posted as of this message. No disclosure in menu website signage or the waitresses who when you ask for a soda refill say nothing about the new added charges. Really bad business practice. DOJ NH take notice complaints will be coming.
