Maybe I thought it would lead to the Emerald City! Well, I decided that it's time to sell the house, and my fiance and the realtor decided that the green toilet and yellow tile had to go. Enter Team Riev! To save some money, I picked out tile at Home Depot and new toilets. Riev and his team came in and installed both and it didn't break the bank ! I am beyond happy with their work, and Riev's guys even installed the replacement for my red toilet (yes, the previous owners had that kind of taste--or maybe they wanted Christmas all year long, i don't know)!! Unlike a lot of contractors I've dealt with, they showed up when they said they would show up, cleaned up after themselves, and EVEN took away my old toilets!!! The whole crew were very pleasant to work with and Riev himself has to be one of the nicest guys I've had the pleasure to work with. Call them today, you won't be disappointed.

They used indoor shiplap in stead of outdoor to cut cirners, the entire patio is crooked, and the ends were not finished to have water run off. The entire downhill side of the patio deteriorated after a few rains. Riev stopped taking our calls and has been unresponsive for at least six months. He also can't be found by us in person to even serve a lawsuit. Do not hire this man or you may be very sorry, and out a large chunk of money.

I told him I was looking for tile installation. He asked where I got the number. I told him "uhh...yelp?" He said "what do you want." Not as a question, not as a 'hey, it's a customer, maybe I should like...be customer-facing' but as a "what do you want." (with a period). I was calling late-ish (7:20p), expected to just leave a message so whomever could call me in the morning, but he answered. Clearly he was just in a bad mood I guess, but customers tend to not want to have someone treat them like they're being interrogated. If a business isn't ready to be customer-facing, they...shouldn't answer the phones. Sometimes people just want to leave a message so a business can call back at their convenience.

The part that ended the deal was he shows up on the job one morning and my wife wanted to bring up a couple concerning questions about his work and instead of listening and working together to make both understanding the project. He then decided to start yelling and cussing her out. She then walked out of the room in shock and she came to notified me what was happening and when both of us returned to the room he had already grabbed his tools and left and left his mess for us to cleaned up. Five Stars Across the Board - True Craftsmen and Kind Souls…read more It's rare these days to find a team that truly gets it--that understands quality, values integrity, communicates clearly, and treats your home as if it were their own. But that's exactly what you'll find with Pro Home Improvement in Escondido. From day one, Francisco was not just a contractor--he was a partner. A super leader in every sense of the word: calm, genuine, respectful, and laser-focused on doing things right. He listened carefully, offered smart solutions, and kept us in the loop every step of the way with his clear and graceful communication. His crew? Absolute gems. Friendly, punctual, and dedicated--showing up early, staying focused, and delivering results that exceeded expectations. We're talking expert carpentry, meticulous painting, and detailed repairs done with the kind of craftsmanship that's getting harder and harder to find these days. But what really set them apart was how they went above and beyond. We had some unexpected issues pop up (as you do with homes!), and instead of nickel-and-diming us or dragging things out, they jumped in with solutions--fast, efficient, and top-quality. Their responsiveness and flexibility were a breath of fresh air. The value they delivered? Outstanding. Every dollar spent came back tenfold in peace of mind and pride in our home. The attention to detail in the stucco and paintwork alone deserves a standing ovation. In a world full of rushed jobs and corner-cutters, Francisco and Pro Home Improvement stand out as old-school pros who still believe in doing things the right way. They see the big picture, honor their word, and truly care. If you're lucky enough to get on their calendar--book them. You'll be glad you did.
