Got there at 10am.. waited till 11 till the guy finally came.. showed up with an amazon package... it was my screen that he ordered off amazon. Seriously? If that was the case, i'd have done it myself. I brought it to a store thinking they would use better professional quality products. Even after the repair my phone ended up dying again in about 4 hours MAX when before it would last the whole day with constant use. My screen was also so dim. I had to end up buying a NEW PHONE. I also asked for documentation, such as a diagnosis, notes, or any paperwork I could review later to discuss with Google directly. The staff refused to provide anything unless I opened a paid repair ticket. Since a $500 repair was not economically reasonable, I declined. I couldn't believe that he only charged me $80 for an OLED screen. He said he had a cheaper option for $60 if I went for the LCD sceeen but as soon as he demonstated the differences between 2 screens, I decided to go with the oLed screen. Two weeks ago, I went into Best Buy IN PERSON to schedule a TV installation. I explained exactly what I needed: unmount my existing LG OLED TV from the living room, relocate and mount it in the bedroom, and install my new LG OLED TV in the living room. I was very specific about the TVs and the work involved. In fact, after reviewing the service order, I questioned whether the correct services had been booked because something didn't look right. Multiple employees reviewed and confirmed that everything was correct. I even emphasized how important it was to get the appointment right because I would need to take time off work. Fast forward to the DAY OF installation, and I'm informed that Best Buy booked the wrong service and the appointment needs to be canceled. After booking two weeks in advance, taking time off work, and making every effort to ensure the appointment was correct, I was told there was essentially nothing they could do except reschedule. No meaningful accommodation, no compensation, and no accountability for an error that was entirely on their end. What makes this especially disappointing is that this situation was completely preventable. I specifically raised concerns about the booking beforehand and was repeatedly assured everything was correct. Customers should not have to lose time, rearrange their work schedules, and deal with last-minute cancellations because employees failed to book services correctly, especially after being asked to double-check. I expected significantly better communication, professionalism, and customer service from Best Buy. Unfortunately, this experience has seriously damaged my confidence in their installation services.
